Cassie’s POV
I quickly swung into action, I was going to create a pleasant surprise to welcome James home and then after that I am going to welcome him with a mind blowing kiss.
I know that I have to fight for love and I do not mind doing that as long as James can be beside me because he is the only one my heart wants and I think I was a fool to ever think that I would able to do without him in my life.
I quickly ordered for some couple wears, I was going to make sure that we wore that tomorrow to announce to all haters that we are dating and that we are never going to give up on each other.
I rushed into the small kitchen and began to cook for him, I was smiling through the whole process not even minding how stressful it was to cook all of those food.
I dished out the food and took them to my room, covering them up properly.
I stood by my window and peered out waiting for them to arrive.
A car zoomed into the compound and then another one.
“That must be him.” I shrieked excitedly and ran out of my room.
I ran as fast as my legs could carry my frame, I ran to the parking grounds. By the time I got there I was breathing so heavily.
I stopped in front of the car with my hands on my knees, I was so breathless but still yet happy.
The car opened and a lady stepped out of the car, I was about to go off like an alarm and ask who she was when I remembered her, she was the lady that came asking for Samantha that day.
James alighted from the car with a smile on his face, he still remained as handsome and manly as ever, his figure had not diminished a single bit, the smile on his face was super vibrant.
“James.” I called and ran towards where he was standing.
He spread his arms wide open and I ran into the warmth and comfort of his hands, hugging his manly body tightly.
“James.” I mumbled as I wrapped my arms around him.
He wrapped his hands around me too and we hugged tightly, my hand went over his shoulder. I had missed him so much, I had missed his touches and the warmth of his body too. I was hugging him like I was going to vanish into his body.
“I missed you so much.” I said to him still hugging him.
He pulled away from the hug and looked at me with a smile on his face.
“I missed you more than you missed me Cassie.” he replied and I could see nothing more than sincerity in his eyes.
“That’s a lie, I missed you a whole lot.” I mumbled to him, playing with my fingers.
“I have been missing you even before I left this place.”
“I have been missing you since you were missing me too.” I replied her.
“Why didn’t you just tell me that you were missing me then? The both of us could have come together earlier.”
“You… You offended me.” I grumbled, with a pout.
“Let’s not talk about it.” he said and I nodded.
“Take a look at your face, you look so tired but still yet so beautiful, who can do that if not only you?” He asked, flattering me.
“You are flattering me.” I mumbled with a shy smile, diverting my gaze to the floor but his fingers raised my head up and made me look into his eyes, his eyes were clear and very bright, they were are beautiful as those eyes I had fallen in love with.
He leaned closer to me slowly, exchanging glances between my eyes and my lips.
He was being too hesitant so I took the lead, pulled him by his collar to my height and crashed my lips onto his own lips.
I felt him smile against my lips before he did a sudden turn, placing his strong arms around my waist. He held me tightly in place and kissed me hard, his lips tasted like ice cream and it even tasted better than any other ice cream.
He licked and sucked on my lower lips, nibbling on it gently too, his tongue delved into my mouth and I gave easy access to it. We both kissed for probably minutes.
“Are you really forgetting that you have a friend too?” It was Samantha’s voice.
I broke the kiss with James and chuckled softly.
“I can never forget you.” I replied her and ran towards her. She spread out her arms and I hugged her.
We both stood in that position for about a minute before pulling away from the hug.
“Alpha Kayden.” I bowed fully.
“Cassie.” he called my name to acknowledge my greetings and I grinned.
It was really one huge honor to have Alpha Kayden acknowledge one’s greetings.
“Mantha, we would better leave this two behind.” Alpha Kayden said to Mantha and they both walked into the main mansion.
Before I could turn back, James was already back hugging me. I giggled softly as he buried his face in my neck, kissing my neck.
“Hey, you’re being so naughty.” I managed to say amidst my endless smiles.
“We should go in.” I suggested and that was when I noticed the lady.
“Hello, I am Cassie.” I introduced myself to her.
“Oh I see you are Cassie, I have heard a lot about you.” she replied and I turned to look at James wondering what she had heard about me already.
“Really? I hope it is nothing bad.” I said with a smile.
“Nothing of the sort.” she replied.
“That’s good, your name then?” I requested.
“I am A…. I am Marie.” she replied me and I pouted in a bit of confusion.
“A… A what?” I asked her.
“Nothing that was a mistake, my name is really Marie.” she replied and I stretched my hand forward to shake her.
She took the hand shake with a friendly smile on her face.
“You are welcome Miss. Marie.”
