Crystal POV
My dark dreams light up like the day. I was stunned for seconds. My hopes, wishes, and dreams were in front of me. It’s as if I’m dreaming, that’s Annie in his arms.
“Who is she to you, Crystal? He asked and we turned to look at him. First, hearing my name made me look at him but seeing what I wasn’t expecting to see in his arms made me numb for seconds. I lost the train of my thoughts, words, feelings, aura. I couldn’t feel myself anymore. But I managed to say something.
“An… nie” I stuttered and a single tear streamed down my cheeks. Gosh! This surprise is the best I have ever seen, I just don’t know what to say.
“Oh! My! God! ” Cali exclaimed as she covered her mouth. I look at her and the tears won’t stop rushing down. I guess it’s reality. Annie Leblanc is in front of me. My younger sister, after my years of being lonely, hugging our memories together.
“ANNIE!!!! ” I screamed and I stumbled to the ground. Camila was about to hold me but we ended up falling together.
“She won’t stop talking about her sister. Calvin said and walked closer to me. I can’t believe she’s the one Cali brother has in his arms. She’s not the small girl with tiny hands. Tears streamed down my cheeks as he kneeled in front of me.
“Do you want to carry her? ” He asked with a bright smile on his lips. I wanted to talk but I didn’t know when I burst into tears.
“Your tears will wake her up. ” He uttered, wiping my tears.
“Do you want to have her in your arms? ” He asked again and I nodded quickly. I opened my arms apart and he dropped her in my arms gently. I looked at Camila and she nodded with tears on her face.
“I’m sorry for not looking for you. ” I mumbled in between my tears.
“But she did. Her adoptive parents also believe her. They love her. ” Camila uttered as she knee before me.
“Yes.. Don’t think, you not reaching her before she did is your fault. That’s destiny. Camila uttered and hugged her.
Nova and Cali smiled.
“I never knew they were sisters. Cali mumbled as she stared at how Crystal stood up with Ann in her arms.
“I’m heading inside. I want to put her to bed. ” I uttered and they nodded.
Cali POV
Seeing how emotional Crystal got when she said Ann made me emotional. I could feel how she’s feeling. I can’t believe I was among those that rebuked Ann staying with Zoey.
I couldn’t understand how she’s feeling, but Crystal looks hurt and happy. I rubbed my hand on my bump when I felt a movement in there. Nova was crying already, I guess this is an emotional moment.
“I’m heading inside. I want to put her to bed. ” She uttered and I nodded, guess everyone nodded also.
“I’m sorry for not trusting you when you got interested in Ann. ” I apologized.
“Did Crystal talk to you about her younger sister? ” Zoey asked and I nodded.
“Why didn’t you take action when she said something important? Calvin asked with a serious expression on his face and I was forced to chuckle.
“Why this serious face? I’m pregnant remember, moreover, I told Crystal I will try to help her but my appointments keep getting frequent. I’m two months away from delivery. ” I explained and he nodded…
“Oh! Before I forget about, when we got to the agency. We saw Andrew’s name …” Zoey uttered and I let out a light gasp. Camila cleared her throat and she looked at Nova.
“What’s he to you, Cali? Calvin asked. Now everyone’s attention is on me.
