{The Nurse Attack, She’s Strict}

That was close. I can’t believe she saw me, gosh my plans would have been ruined. Totally ruined and my boss will be furious at the mess. I inhale and exhale before heading back to my car. I watched them drive out of the parking lot.
My phone rang and I picked up the call immediately.
“How is everything going on there? ” She asked and I chuckled.
“Cool, I still have my investigation on. ” I mumbled and rested my head on the seat head.
“What investigation? ” She asked, I gasped when I remembered she wasn’t aware of the sudden news I just confirmed… Not really sure, because I’m still going to get more information.
“Calvin and Zoey came to the hospital minutes ago… They had this street girl with them. And I think she’s pregnant again. ”
“She is? ” She seems shocked.
“I’m not sure, but I think she is. ”
“Why don’t you go in and get more information? “She suggested but I don’t think that will work.
“I don’t think that’s going to work. The hospital is private and it’s owned by his brothers… Do you want us to get caught? ” I raise my voice at her and she inhales.
“Victory will be ours soon. Just calm down and don’t ruin things for us because you want a quick revenge on him. ” I scolded and she hummed.
“I will wait to see if they announce another party for their pregnancy. Only if my guess was right. ” I uttered and she hummed.
“How are you doing over there? ” I asked and she sighed deeply.
“Cool with my late brother’s business. I can’t wait to get back at those families that brought pain to you and I. Are we still carrying out the other plan? ” She asked, which made me have a quick thought.
“I’m looking for a way to lure him into the trap. I will pay a prostitute for that part but am looking for the perfect timing for it. But none aren’t coming in. I thought he would go ahead with the contract with this company that had been dreaming to work with him, but he wasn’t rushing into the company as I predicted. That’s why our plan is still on the low side. ”
“Do you think the company still has interest? I mean, Will it work out despite it being slow? ” She asked and I nodded. I was nodding as if she could see me nodding.
“Answer me Pooja. ”
(Stuttering) “Yes, only if the company still have interest—”
(Interrupt) “If they are not… ” She asked with a breaking voice.
“You know the answer. ” I replied and she inhaled sharply.
“Let’s see how it will go. Update me Pooja.. Don’t let me remind you before you inform me of every detail. I will be joining soon. ” She reminded me and ended the call afterwards.
“Gosh! She’s too demanding… ” I mumbled and brushed my hair with my hands.
“I just have to remind him of the contract he kept waiting and then the party and then, the press will capture him in the act, the whole internet, I paused and blush at my crazy plan. Calvin’s wife doesn’t like getting herself on the internet or news will get displayed. And his cheating scandal will be all over the news and boom! She will file a divorce. ” I let out a sarcastic laughter and sniffed in. I ignited the engine but a thought came to my mind.
“Let me try and see if I can get the information I need in the hospital here. ” I mumbled and undo my seat belt. I picked up my office ID card. At least they will know I’m his personal assistant.
Then, it will work out by getting the information I want. With confidence in me. I headed inside the hospital and stopped in front of the reception. Three nurses in the seat, so I showed them my ID card and they smiled.
“You are from Mr Calvin. What can we do for you? ” The dark skinny nurse asked, I cleared my throat and she stared at me, waiting for me to state my reason for coming inside the hospital.
(Stuttering) “My boss wants to get a file from his doctor. ” I stuttered at first, but I was able to control my words by smiling.
“Oh! You are here to see Dr ??? ” The nurse uttered. Waiting for me to get the doctor’s name but all I could do was to stare at her.
“She must be kidding me right now. She should know the doctor they came to meet. Gosh! It’s not going as planned. ” I thought. My breath became hot all of the sudden, I stared down to my toes. My shaking hands don’t seem to help me at the point of need. It kept shaking till the nurse noticed.
“Are you unwell? ” She asked worriedly, she made an attempt to come over. I needed to stop her before she noticed my sweaty hands.
“I’m fine… ” I shouted and she gasped.
“Oh! That’s fine, have you remembered the doctor he sent you to. ” She asked and shook my head.
“He didn’t tell me the name of the doctor he came to visit. He only called me on the phone and told me to collect a file at ELON Private Hospital, that’s why I’m here. ” I breathe out when I explain my lies. I just hope she buys them.
“I think you should call him back—”
“CALL HIM BACK!!! ” I exclaimed and she nodded. It took me seconds to realize that she meant by CALL.
“Why is the nurse attacking my words? She should allow me… Aaagggghhh!!!!! ” I scream in my head.
“I will make a call to him outside. ” I mumbled and bowed. She nodded and picked up the telephone before sitting down. Immediately I saw her pick the telephone, what came to my mind was.
“SECURITY. SHE’S CALLING ONE. ” My head and mind screamed and I hastened my walking pace…
“Wait! ” She screamed and my heart skipped thousands of beats.
“THEY FOUND OUT. OH! HEAVENS. ”
