Chapter 83

Book:Cursed Alpha's Witch Mate Published:2024-5-31

Already Olivia’s breathing was labored and shallow. Ella remained standing as the servants gathered the Queen’s belongings, contemplating whether or not she should go soothe the monarch. But why on earth would she take part in a robbery? It was completely illogical. ‘What are you gazing at??? Olivia shrieked at her out of the blue, and the tremor of her voice shook Ella to her core.
Olivia hurriedly packed her voluminous garment from the bottom up and left right immediately.
The King was already mounted as she emerged from the palace. And then, with a savage look in his eyes, he pulled the horse’s collar-rope and set it up on its feet. The other guards promptly mounted their horses and followed him.
Olivia could feel the gaze of the crowd as she mounted her own horse… At that that time, all eyes were on her.
She dishonorably sent her horse go on its journey.
They were on the road for a long time. And because no one was looking, Olivia was able to wipe a tear from her eye. She’s never felt so degraded and belittled before in all her years. What the heck happened here?
She couldn’t quit thinking about the King. Because of this, he would come to despise her. The fury in his eyes conveyed all the information she needed to know. How can she get him to grasp the gravity of the situation? The question is, how can she get herself out of this jam? Oh! Ella couldn’t believe the woman had caused her to feel so ashamed.
She had no way of knowing that the ring was hidden in her purse. WShe had a serious case of head pounding and had to get this. Essential for making sense of the situation at hand.
After what felt like an eternity, they reached the palace in the dead of night. Ahead of the guards, Spenser dismounted and entered the compound.
As he passed, everyone stopped and bowed to the King, who clearly looked troubled. He seems quite enraged. Security personnel, including Jeremy, were clustered close to him. Olivia dismounted her own horse and began racing towards the man. “My King! ”
She had to increase her speed and eventually catch up to him in the corridor.
“Please pay attention to what I have to say! It was definitely a setup, and I have no idea what happened there. “From behind, she said, “Someone set me up so I’d seem horrible in front of everyone.” She didn’t care that there were guards there, or that Natasha and Ella were following close behind.
“You know me, My King, I’m not a thief”… and in an instant, Spenser turned around to gaze at her with eyes so blazing with anger that she could hardly take it.
“Do you have to make an oath on the moon to prove that you had nothing to do with what occurred? ” He made sure Olivia was gazing icily into his eyes before asking.
“Of course, I…,” she wanted to say, something defensive – to convince him she didn’t put the ring in her suitcase and didn’t intend to take it home.
However, she soon realized that wasn’t the query and that
Even if she had a part in it, this wasn’t her intention.
she couldn’t make an oath to the goddess. Because of her deceit, the repercussions would be devastating, and she may possibly lose her life. She finally gave up trying to avoid the King’s sight and cast a pitying glance towards the ground instead. She let out a tear.
Spenser shook his head, thinking that the fact that she couldn’t swear proved her guilt. The stunned hush of the hallway spread. He sneered, “You’re worse than a disgrace, Olivia.” “You made me appear like an idiot and a reckless guy by rubbing my face in the dirt in front of my minions,” he said.
His fists were clenched at his side, and it was costing him so much effort to stop using to live.
He walked away fuming.
“Please..! ”
His voice cracked as he said, “Keep your distance from me, Olivia.”
“I do not desire to see you for many weeks”
. Olivia’s heart was shattered by his parting words, and she watched helplessly as he walked away, knowing she was doomed.
She wiped another tear from her eye and then sniffled. Then, unable to take the embarrassment any longer, she turned and fled away, leaving behind Natasha, whose face was scrawled, and Ella, who was staring bewildered.
She hurried down the hall in tears and took a long time to get to her room, which she entered violently and pounded the door to in an expression of her anger. All the maids made way for her as she passed them, not wanting to become involved in any way since they knew she might murder someone at that moment. Without anybody else there to comfort her, she collapsed to the floor and sobbed uncontrollably. She had never been so humiliated; so ridiculed and degraded in public, and it was the first time in over 10 years that she has sobbed.
She just don’t understand how this could occur. To put Ella in her place was her only goal. Instead, she received abuse from members of the Perpetual peace pack.
Oh, no! She lay on her side, her head on the floor, and continued to sob. There was a knock at the door, but she ignored it. Leena said, “My Queen! Could you please unlock the door for me? “GET AWAY FROM ME,” the frightened voice pleaded.
Olivia shouted out as she was about to be killed. ” I don’t want to see anybody! Leave now!!! ”
Ella
Ella had been taken aback by the turn of events and she lay back on the floor and began sobbing again. The King’s remarks were especially severe when he told Queen Olivia he didn’t want to see her for weeks. She went to see whether Diana and her baby were okay before going to her room, and they were. She didn’t think twice about telling Diana what had occurred, seeing as how Diana was essentially her only friend.
Indeed, Diana was taken aback. She had never imagined that Olivia was capable of doing anything like that. Diana had said, “I only know Queen Olivia to be nasty and greedy, I never believed she might be a robber as well.” The two women continued to converse about anything else.
