“Queen” Jeremy uttered the term with a small caustic echo.
“The King wants you in his Chambers. Follow me” he tilted his head to the right and began walking away.
Ella felt her systems churn. Oh, oh; The King wants her? She rubbed her hand over her face and went after Jeremy. For the last four days, the King hadn’t touched her. Although, they had an arrangement of “sex every morning and tea every night”.
Two days after her arrow wound healed, Ella wanted to see the King, but his guards wouldn’t allow her in since they said he didn’t want to see anybody. She hoped she could assist him but she had no idea what was wrong with him. The realization that he was calling for her brought some comfort, but also renewed anxiety.
He’s been behaving so furious and unpleasant over the previous several days and Ella couldn’t help but hope she was going to be alright.
Getting to the King’s chamber, she spotted two guards at the door and waited for Jeremy to open it. “You may go in” he instructed her, and cautiously, Ella opened the door and stepped in. Queen Olivia was standing and observing from a distance. As she saw Ella enter the King’s chamber, her heart tightened.
What the… The King would rather send for that commoner than for her. As the idea flashed before her eyes, a spark of wrath lit up her face. The ungrateful one was desperately attempting to win the King’s favor, but she would never allow it. As she turned around, she went away toward Ella’s bedroom.
She felt an incredible sense of relief and happiness at the prospect of accomplishing what her heart desired. Ella, you poor thing! The next day’s public humiliation couldn’t come soon enough for her. Olivia bitterly anticipated the King’s reaction and everything the Luna would do to her for attempting to take the ring.
At last, she knocked on Ella’s door, opened it, and entered the room. Olivia had been plotting a means to get into the castle the entire time, so it was for the best that the King eventually sent for her. She scanned the room and located her little suitcase next to the bed.
Her heart beamed heavily and without hesitation, she drew out the necklace from her dress, ran to the bag, opened it up and attached the necklace in the lowest part of the bag – where she was sure Ella wouldn’t think of checking.
In a moment of triumph, she finished tying the bag. She exited the room, careful not to leave any traces of her having been there. When Olivia emerged from Ella’s room, she was taken aback to see Natasha standing in her way. Huh?
Natasha stopped a few meters away and gazed at Olivia in shock. You have to admit, isn’t this…. Where is Ella? She scoffed and walked over to Olivia, who was doing her best to keep from stumbling.
“What the heck were you doing over there? I went in there to see her, but she wasn’t there. And I believe it’s best if you stay out of my business. “Instead of responding, Olivia rolled her eyes and walked away.
King Spenser remained silent for quite some time, seemingly absorbed in his reading.
After getting acclimated to his silence, Ella waited patiently. She did this while stealing looks at the King’s face.
It seemed rigid. And then, at long last, she heard that grouchy voice:
“Take off your clothes, Ella.” It didn’t diminish his attractiveness, but it was a bummer.
Her body temporarily froze. The King’s voice had always been chilly and unpleasant, but Ella noticed a new level of iciness in it that evening. She was at a loss to figure out what was wrong with him.
She swallowed anxiously and made her way to the bed, where she stripped naked and laid silently. Her nerves weren’t as frazzled as they once were, but she still glanced at the King with apprehension. So, what exactly is wrong with him?
The King of Spenser waited a long time before he joined Ella on the bed. He was uncomfortable and itching and didn’t want to touch a woman, but he wanted to eat so that Alpha Ronald wouldn’t get suspicious, so he called for Ella.
His rage and aggression were growing by the day, and he was afraid to think about what would happen in three days.
For him, the Moon Night had become an implacable foe. He heaved a pitiful sigh and got to his feet, all set to go with Ella.
Natasha was standing in front of the mirror combing her hair, and he was planning to get it done quickly so that she could get out of there. She had changed into her pajamas and was ready for bed when she saw the mirror.
Urgh! Nothing good could possibly come from such a tiny package; the quality was so low that she was having trouble adjusting. She hissed and glared at the room in the mirror. It was nothing like her spacious, newly renovated room back at the palace, and she couldn’t wait to get out of here and go home.
Suddenly, she heard a knock at the door. “Oh! Who is that irritant? She muttered an expletive under her breath as she slammed the hairbrush down on the desk. After getting to her feet, she headed out the door. When she finally opened it, she was taken aback to find Jeremy leaving. “What?” She yelled in a deep voice.
Before closing the door, Jeremy pulled her in gently by the waist while holding on to her. Even though he said, “Hey love,” and embraced her, Natasha pulled away after three seconds. “Jeremy! You seem to be out of place. You must have realized that we weren’t there. “The huskiness of her voice made her words seem like a whisper. ” Excuse me, Natasha. You’re fretting about too many things. “
