Omando sat in his stuffy chamber examining the arrow’s blood.
He had many large volumes opened in front of him and had turned on his microscope. In fact, this blood’s greenish hue made it seem familiar. He spent a very long time flipping over several pages while comparing and contrasting, to the point that he was becoming exhausted.
But it was only then, when he was at his most irritated, that he discovered something. Not anything, but the response he was seeking.
As he moved forward for a better glimpse, his drained eyes suddenly shone with joy. What??? His mind was racing. How did this happen? The venom.
He constantly double checked it. However, there was no error. It was real. The toxin was created using… He immediately sprung to his feet and sprinted out of the room holding the arrow.
He was anxious to share his discoveries with the King, so he moved quickly and hurriedly into the King’s apartments.
In millennia, nothing like this has ever occurred. It didn’t take him long to get to the King’s rooms because of how quickly he was moving, and when he did, the guards immediately allowed him in since they knew Omando never went there unless it was really urgent.
When Omando entered, the old man, who seemed anxious, was straightening his belt in front of King Spenser’s wardrobe. “My King…”
“Omando, what’s the matter?” He questioned as he moved away from the closet. He observed the arrow he was holding. He approached the King, panting a bit, saying, “I’m done with my analysis, My King, and I’ve gotten to know where the poison originated from.” King Spenser’s curious eyes glistened.
“The poison… it was produced from a witch’s blood.” Then a wince slowly appeared on Spenser’s face. His tone was more subdued than aggressive. It just sounded unbelievable.
“The witch’s blood was used to create the poison. I am so certain of it. “Omando answered. Spenser laughed and took the arrow from the man. “The witches”
One of his family members was attacked by witches? You imply that witches are responsible for this? He questioned the doctor while glaring icily at the arrow.
I find it hard to imagine they would launch an assault. It’s inappropriate,” Omando said.
Spenser remained quiet for a while, simply gazing down at the arrow. And gradually, he started to feel angry.
His guard entered when the door opened in response to his summons.
‘My King’ “Find Viscar, and tell him to prepare the horses and guards. To the Witches Palace we are going.
Olivia
“Whaaaat??!” She recoiled in surprise and looked at Leena, who had broken the bad news.
“Are you sure about this?!” And of course, Your Majesty. You should know that I only read reliable news sources. ” In a respectful gesture, Leena bowed. Olivia got up from the bed where she had been seated and began to pace the floor.
But the Queen knows the King too well to believe that he would undertake anything like this just because Ella asked him to. As king, Spenser detested having his regulations disregarded or broken. A guard’s reaction would not have changed even if this had occurred to him. Therefore, he believes that the witches will respect his family and not harm one of them if they are instructed to do so. But why would witches want to kill people now?
For example, this was the first time in centuries when the alliances weren’t strictly enforced. For what reason would they now bring up an assault? It was really puzzling…. Did they just believe they could start a war with that? She said, “I wish Ella would just die,” but Leena overheard her. “Why wasn’t the poison lethal?” She ought to shut her eyes. She pounded the floor fiercely with her feet.
Viscar was standing next to the other pack warriors, each of whom was guarding a horse. They were all waiting for the King to come, and Jeremy was one of them. When he learned that Ella had been attacked by witches, he couldn’t help but feel a bit unnerved.
Considering how much it would hurt someone like Spenser, why would the witches go through with it? What possessed them to do such a naive thing? Spenser was fuming because there was never a good moment to have a conversation with him. At this point, he had no clue whether Spenser was headed for war or some other objective.
His thoughts kept returning to her; she was too sweet. He didn’t want Spenser to fight the witches since he knew it would mean attacking her as well. He was worried about her safety. Uh, sh*t! Interrupted in his thoughts by a guard’s announcement that “the King is coming,” he looked up to see Spenser approaching with what seemed like a heavy, furious march.
Full with armor, he looked more like an enraged warrior than a monarch. It’s well knowledge that Spenser broke with the tradition of his forefathers by becoming king. As well as not betraying him, you should never mess with his rules.
When Spenser is unable to process his betrayal, he may become very dangerous and make hasty choices. That’s why Viscar couldn’t fathom why the witches would do such a terrible crime. It defies logic on every level.
As he approached and mounted his horse, everyone bent their heads in respect. He went up on it while clinging to the collar rope and got set. The other guards followed suit.
“So, let’s get going! “He gave the order, mounted up first, and they all rode out of the palace together. Both of his wives, Olivia and Natasha, were there and watching from the balcony.
Olivia hoped a conflict wouldn’t break out so that he could stay out of harm’s way. Natasha, too… Her mind was just blank. Regardless, she required the return of the two males, The King and Jeremy.
Ella remained unconscious for many more hours. Although the doctor assured her that she would be alright now that the arrow was removed and the poison was gone, she may have had some temporary discomfort. Even when the Doctor’s son had to leave to take care of some business, Diana had remained in the room with her. The thought of anything horrible happening to her made her unable to leave her side.
But later on, she had to go to make sure her baby was well and to fetch some food. But she didn’t linger; after handing over responsibility for her daughter to the housekeeper, she was back in Ella’s room in no time. She stayed up all night.
