On the way back, Alina’s mind was full of Andre’s eyes full of tenderness towards the children. A man was so gentle in front of the children.
Amy, “Are you envious?”
“No, I have a child, so I’m not envious.” Alina said.
She was not envious, but she felt surprised that Andre could have such a gentle side.
Of course, in the hospital, she didn’t know what exactly his attitude was towards Nellie, but every time she went there, he was angry plus threatened her.
She was used to this by now.
“Then why you…?”
“I’m worried whether my brother will turn to be like before.” Alina said.
Not only she was worried about this issue, but Nellie was worried, fearing that Andre would turn out to be like before again.
That look was so sadistic.
Amy, “Don’t worry, now that there are children, how far can he change?”
“…”
“Men and women are different once they have children, and that change can often be a lifetime.”
Hearing that, Alina didn’t worry anymore.
But why was Andre always threatening her?
…
When she returned to the castle, Chester and Penny were already waiting for her at the dining table. She had always been out these days.
Lucas followed her. Chester was worried that something might happen to her, so Lucas and Amy stood guard over her no matter what time it was.
Seeing Chester at home, Alina raised her eyebrows, “Why are you back so early today?”
“I miss you, so I came back early.”
Chester said, and Alina’s face flushed.
Chester was busy, but every time he came home on time and went to pick up Penny on time.
The three of them, it seems, have really entered into a kind of ordinary life.
Chester pulled her hand, “Why is it so cold?”
“My sister-in-law gave birth today and I’m a bit nervous.”
Chester, “Are you scared?”
Hearing that Alina was nervous, Chester worriedly pulled Alina to sit down.
He had never been by her side before, whether she was pregnant with Penny or giving birth to her, and she had carried all her pain alone at that time.
Alina put on a smile, “A bit.”
Honestly, when she gave birth to Penny, she was still a bit psychologically disturbed because she spent the whole pregnancy in bed.
Chester, “Don’t worry, I’m here with you.”
“Mummy, having a baby is hard, isn’t it? Don’t you be afraid, Daddy and I will always be there for you.”
Hearing Alina say she was afraid, Penny began to calm Alina down.
The corner of Alina’s mouth lifted into a smile, “Okay.”
No matter how much anxiety was in her heart, hearing such reassuring words from them, Alina’s heart was sweet and warm.
Nellie’s situation was somewhat unique, although she recovered well, the babies stayed at Sinantu Pavilion for another month because of the premature birth.
One month later.
Alina knew they were going back to Shirling, and this time she didn’t take Andre’s threat, but threatened back, “If you treat her badly, I’ll still steal her away from you.”
These words pissed off Andre.
Alina was the typical heartless woman though he was so good to her before.
Nellie looked at the way Andre was holding back his anger and laughed, “If he bullies me in the future, I will come to you, you can’t let him into Sinantu Pavilion again.”
“Okay.” Alina nodded to Nellie against Andre’s stern eyes.
Andre was really pissed off.
…
Soon after Andre and Nellie returned to Shirling, Alina received their wedding invitations.
Chester watched her looking at the invitation she was holding, and went up to find that it was from Andre and Nellie.
He pulled it out of her hand, “Abby.”
“Yes?”
“Our wedding hasn’t been held yet.”
Alina’s body stiffened at the sound of his words.
In the heart, there was a moment of dull pain.
At that time, Ingford was abuzz with the news that Chester would give her a grand proposal ceremony, not to mention the wedding.
But in the end, she didn’t have the proposal ceremony.
Now that Chester mentioned the wedding, Alina shook her head, “I don’t want a wedding.”
Chester’s face stiffened at her words, “Abby, I…”
Alina took a deep breath, “We’re good as we are.”
Chester heartily circled her into his arms and said in a dumb voice, “Don’t worry, there will be no accidents this time.”
“No.” Alina continued to refuse.
It was clear that before the big event, there must be a big change of heart, and this had been ingrained in her mind.
She didn’t want another big change in her life, so she would skip the wedding.
How could Chester not know what she had in mind? How could she not want a wedding when she could even design a wedding dress and, even design a ring when she was demented?
In the end, she was scared that her life would change.
Chester, “Okay, all yours.”
At the moment, in Alina’s panic, he did not insist on having that wedding, and everything was respected for Alina’s idea.
Alina was relieved to hear that.
“The wedding and all that is really not that important to me.”
“I know.” Chester nodded his head, he knew everything.
When Alina saw that he did not dwell on the wedding, she put her mind at ease.
Life was not a long walk for her.
But the rocky ups and downs had given her many heavy blows, and now such peace was something she did not want to break.
So it was actually nice to just spend it in peace and quiet.
…
Luna was grateful to see that Nellie had returned with Andre and brought her three precious children with her.
She thought that it was completely over between Nellie and Andre and that they would never stay together again.
Little did she know that they would have a day to come.
“Nellie, thank you.” Luna’s tone was full of gratitude.
Nellie was silent, facing all this, she didn’t know what to say now.
Luna looked at the babies with special love.
The babies were tiny and after a month in the incubator, they still look pretty much like they were just born.
When Andre said earlier that the babies had been born, she was eager to go to Sinantu Pavilion, but thinking that nothing had prepared, she therefore stayed home to get everything ready.
Childcare, the child’s room, the child’s supplies, the supplies for Nellie, everything was now well prepared.
When Nellie left earlier, she had no intention of returning to Shirling, so she sold everything she had.
Even her house was sold.
She didn’t want to stay at the Lawson’s, but it seemed a bit inconvenient to take her three children to find a house, so she stayed there for the time being.
