Chapter 936 I have nothing left

Book:My Billionaire Ex-wife Published:2024-5-31

Penny had really been doing a lot of school work lately, and at her young age, she was smart enough to start finishing school ahead of schedule again.
Chester was proud of this daughter.
He spent the whole day at the castle with Alina, going out for an hour in the afternoon but returning soon afterwards.
In the evening, he got a call from Romeo.
“Chester, I want to see you.”
“Okay.”
Chester wanted to see Romeo, to know what was going on in his mind right now, especially with regard to Alina.
Chester didn’t want things to get out of hand now, he had to know exactly how Romeo was thinking now.
He arranged for Lucas to personally come over and guard Alina before going out.
When Chester came to Ypres Island, Romeo was drinking again, and today he was even more dishevelled than the previous two days when they had met.
Chester sat across from him and watched him in silence as Romeo downed glass after glass of wine.
“Chester.”
“Yes?”
“I want one person.” Romeo looked at Chester with scarlet eyes.
Chester’s eyelids jumped and a dangerous look was already under his eyes.
Romeo saw it clearly.
At this moment, his eyes were full of hostility, and he met Chester’s gaze menacingly.
Chester looked at him grimly, even if he didn’t say anything, Chester already knew exactly what he was going to say.
Romeo, “It seems you don’t agree.”
“What do you say?”
Chester’s tone was extremely sharp.
The two men’s eyes were cold, especially as Romeo had previously been afraid of Chester.
As long as Chester got angry, he would hide away, yet he was now meeting Chester’s gaze so head-on.
Chester, “You’re quite drunk.”
After saying this, he stood up , was going to leave.
He had come tonight to see what was in Romeo’s heart, and now he had spoken his innermost thoughts.
And there was no point in Chester talking to him at this time, after all, Romeo was now very unconscious.
“If you dare to touch her…”
“Chester, I don’t have anything left.” Before Chester could finish his threatening words, he was interrupted by Romeo.
His tone was all pain.
Chester, “Even if you have nothing, that’s no reason to use her to threaten Sienna, she’s not important to Sienna.”
“No, she’s important, you remember Paisley? She’s a front for Sienna, a front to protect her.”
Therefore, if Alina was brought there, he would definitely be able to threaten Sienna.
Chester turned back in anger.
“Whatever kind of being she is, she’s not someone you can touch, Romeo.” Chester’s tone was full of anger.
It was as if he touched Alina, then Romeo would surely be doomed.
Romeo’s heart was full of dense pain and rage.
Why did he have nothing left and they had everything? Why take it away from him?
As Chester lifted his steps to walk outside, Romeo said, “Zofia died because of the Spinster family.”
The Ajax family and the Spinster family confronted, and in the end Zofia became the sacrificial lamb.
Chester paused in his tracks.
“Whatever the reason is, it’s no reason to go and touch her.”
Chester spoke, his tone cold and stern.
No one can touch Alina, and once they do, then no matter who the other party is, he will definitely make him suffer.
Romeo’s eyes were red with rage.
Chester walked away without a backward glance.
Behind him, Romeo smashed the bottle heavily on the ground, yet Chester still didn’t pause in his steps.
Romeo shouted hysterically, hissing like a wild animal, but even this could not vent the pain in his heart.
Chester got in his car and narrowed his eyes menacingly.
Lucas’ call came in.
Chester picked up, “Yes.”
“Master Romeo’s men are here.”
“Stop them.” Chester’s tone was cold and solemn, with an icy killing intent.
He drove faster.
Lucas stopped them, but, “There are many people of them.”
At these words, Chester’s eyes flickered even more menacingly.
Romeo got him here and actually sent all his own men out to the castle, trying to catch Alina.
“Kill them all.” Chester spoke in a sinister tone.
There was a big gust of sound from the other side of the phone.
It took Chester half an hour to get to Ypres Island, but going back, it only took ten minutes.
When he reached the front of the castle, he saw Lucas covered in cold ruthlessness, knocking those men to the ground, yet there were many more.
They were bound to get Alina.
For the sake of Zofia, Romeo was crazy.
“Stop it.”
Chester spoke grimly.
And those people all trembled at the sound of Chester’s voice.
Subconsciously turning back, they saw Chester standing in the backlight, but the danger that was all over him still made people shiver.
None of them expected Chester to return so soon.
The man at the head of the group had already been stepped on by Lucas, and as Chester pressed on, those who had been aiming at Lucas now subconsciously moved out of the way.
Chester crouched down in front of Lucas, looking at the man being stepped on, the cigarette butt in his hand pressed against the scar on the man’s face.
Even the strong man was now shouting hysterically in pain.
“Go back and tell Romeo that neither you nor he will leave here alive without my permission.”
Chester was all about anger, word for word.
It made everyone present turn pale.
The scarred man on the ground, however, opened his mouth, “This matter has nothing to do with Master Romeo, it’s us who want to capture Lady Melody.”
These are all loyalists of Romeo. They went to Moyen with Romeo and all saw with their own eyes what happened to Zofia and how painfully devastated Romeo was.
They now decided that the Alina inside was not Mrs. Collins, but Lady Melody.
Chester heard that, a gloomy flicker under his eyes as he stood up, “In that case, you all don’t need to go back today.”
“Lucas, deal with it.” Chester finished with a cold grunt and lifted his steps inside.
There was a mess behind them, yet Chester’s heart was even colder. There was no mercy shown just because they were Romeo’s men.
He would not allow Sinantu Pavilion to be dangerous to Alina in any way.
No one could hurt Alina, not even Romeo.
Not to mention his men.
Inside, Alina was taken by the butler to the secondary building at the back, having no idea of what was actually happening.
At the moment she was painting in her studio, and although she was not really in her right mind, she still painted extremely well.
Chester stepped forward and circled her from behind her, “Abby, it is good.”
How chaotic it was outside, then what a contrast it was inside, that made this warm picture beautiful.
Alina giggled, “I want to draw a ring and give it to you, Chester.”
