Book:My Billionaire Ex-wife Published:2024-5-31

By ten o’clock in the evening, Andre really had no intention of leaving. Nellie was upstairs in the study on the phone, and Andre pushed the door in.
Leaning against the door frame, he fixed her eyes on her.
Nellie was even more furious at the way he was rampaging around, completely treating himself as the male owner of the place.
She spoke sharply to the other side of the phone, “Okay, Barney, I got it, bye.”
After saying that, she hung up.
And when Andre heard that she was on the phone with Barney, his face instantly clouded over.
Nellie hung up the phone and took a few steps to Andre, raising her hand to slap him across the face, but Andre caught it easily.
Nellie, “Let go.”
“You can’t let go of him that much?” The tone of Andre’s voice carried the danger of ruin.
Nellie, “Does it matter to you?”
Andre’s grip on her wrist tightened, and the cold light under his eyes intensified a bit at this moment.
Nellie looked at her calmly, and there was no temperature under his eyes.
Andre’s eyes were scarlet, and he said word by word, “I am your husband, does it matter with me?”
“Are you my husband? You know very well how our marriage came to be.”
“How did it come about? You tell me how it came to be?”
Andre’s emotions were instantly out of control.
Nellie did not want to talk to him, as soon as she shook off his wrist, turned around and was about to walk out, however, Andre had already lost his mind.
As soon as he pushed her into the study, his hand reached rested on the button of her coat, he suddenly stopped moving and raised his eyes to Nellie.
Nellie just looked at him quietly, there was no temperature or emotion under her eyes.
It was such a quiet that it made Andre’s heart feel as if it had been scalded.
“Do I disgust you that much?”
No emotion, no love.
No even a struggle.
Her silent resistance irritated his nerves more than her frantic struggles.
Nellie, “Yes.”
She said dryly.
And it was this word that, like a sharp blade, cut open Andre’s heart and made him feel the pain that cut him to the bone.
Eventually, little by little, he let go of her.
Looking down at Nellie, his silhouette enveloped her.
Andre slammed his fist on the wall and said in a somewhat gloomy tone, “Nellie, if you want to be with him, then you have to see if I agree to it.”
He was not going to say yes.
Nellie, “Then we’ll just wait and see.”
She said it nonchalantly, as if she had all the time to spend with him now.
Andre was breathing heavily.
Once, Nellie was humble, gentle and graceful in front of him, maintaining her poise at any time.
When no one was around, she humbled herself in front of him and explained so that he would believe her.
He had never seen such a tough side of her.
It was as if no matter he said now, she didn’t care.
She was really heartless.
“I’m tired, can you move out of the way?” Nellie cast an icy glance at him.
She didn’t ask whether Andre was going to leave tonight, as if it didn’t matter to her whether he did or not.
Seeing that Andre did not move, Nellie forcefully pushed him away and then walked away without looking back towards the door.
Marco had been waiting at the stairway.
He was relieved to see Nellie come out of the study and respectfully came forward, “Miss.”
“I’m tired, have them prepare breakfast at five in the morning, I need to be at the office early.”
“Okay, what about Mr. Francis?” Marco asked after thinking about it.
In accordance with Nellie’s current disgust for Andre, Marco thought that she would never allow Andre to spend the night here.
But thinking of how tough Andre had been just now, he was afraid that it would not be easy to get rid of him tonight.
when Nellie was asked about Andre, she frowned and looked at the study. He hadn’t come out yet.
Nellie, “Don’t bother with him.”
Dropping her words, she went straight back to her room.
Marco was stunned.
Don’t bother? So he doesn’t need to arrange a room? And don’t care if he stays or goes?
Nellie actually knew very well that Andre would not leave easily now, and if he find someone to drive him away, there was no telling what kind of commotion he would cause.
The best thing he can do with him is to choose to ignore him and not bother with him.
When Nellie returned to her room, she locked her door before going to take a shower.
As for what Andre was doing and what he wanted to do in the James family, she ignored it.
After taking a shower and lying in bed, all that came to Nellie’s mind was her past story with Andre.
They actually used to have a happy time.
But no matter how happy it was, she was definitely not his first choice whenever something was going wrong.
She was young then and still expected something from him, but until after that incident, the choice he still made was to put her down.
She had been by Sidney’s side for so long, and Andre hadn’t even bothered to look for her.
Looking back now, she really didn’t know what she was expecting all those years, and she even explained for so long.
She was, at last, tired.
Now, even when she faces Barney, who can treat her wholeheartedly, she doesn’t have the courage to continue with Barney when she sees the complex of the Brooks family.
How could she possibly have the courage to continue with Andre in this way?
Life is so long, there are so many things that can happen, do she really have to wait until he leaves her again?
She wants to live well and doesn’t want to die at the hands of Andre, so forget it, stay away from relationship.
Only if she doesn’t touch it, she won’t be harmed.
In such thoughts, Nellie fell into a deep sleep.
The next morning, she was up at 4. 30am and when she came downstairs, Marco was waiting for her and breakfast was laid out on the table.
Seeing her, Marco respectfully stepped forward, “Breakfast is ready.”
“Where is he?” Nellie sat down on the dining chair tiredly, as she hadn’t slept well last night.
But there was a lot going on at the office today and she had to be there early in the morning for a meeting to make arrangements.
Marco looked upstairs apprehensively when Nellie asked about Andre and said, “Mr. Francis has been in the study all night and hasn’t come out.”
“What?”
Nellie looked at Marco in shock.
Marco nodded, “He hasn’t come out since last night.”
All night? He was in the study all night?
The study had no a bed. He couldn’t sit in it all night, could he? But if she paid attention to him, he would never stop pestering her.
On second thought, she did not bother.
It wasn’t until breakfast was almost over that Andre came down from upstairs, exhausted from a night without sleep.
