Chapter 877

Book:Surprised With Her Real Identities Published:2024-5-31

As Chaya walked, she couldn’t help but think that Niamh must still be at the scene since she hadn’t returned yet. If this matter were to get out, Sylvia’s reputation would be ruined and Franklin would surely abandon her. There wouldn’t be any high-quality men who would want to be with her then.
She and Niamh could handle her however they wanted. Maybe Sylvia would even kneel down and beg them.
The more Chaya thought about it, the more pleased she felt. She felt like she was going to soar up into the sky.
She thought about how clever she was for coming up with such a great plan.
They had all looked around but couldn’t find Niamh or Joseph, let alone Sylvia.
“What’s going on? Where are they?” Clare furrowed his brow, feeling like something was off but not able to put his finger on it.
Just then, Chaya said suddenly. “I think I hear something.”
Corey stopped in his tracks too. “Yeah… I heard it too.”
Clare frowned again. “It sounds like it’s coming from over here… Could there be a wildcat or something?”
“I’ll go check,” said Chaya as she pushed aside some bushes. But when she saw two familiar figures entwined together on the grassy field below them, kissing passionately while doing all sorts of explicit things at the same time…
Corey and Clare were both shocked by what they saw!
Clare was so angry that he felt like his liver hurt. “Niamh! You have no shame! Do you have no face? If you love Joseph so much why can’t you just openly date him? Why do you have to do these embarrassing things here?”
“You guys are really thirsty huh?” exclaimed Corey in shock as well.” Doing this kind of thing in broad daylight out here?”
Chaya was so angry that her head spun around; tears threatened to spill from her eyes. What is wrong with Niamh?! Why did everything fall into her trap?
Where is Sylvia now?
Her mind filled with questions; She didn’t know what else to do!
She glared at Niamh and Joseph before slapping him across the face. “You trash! Who do you think you are? How dare you even dream of my sister?”
Joseph looked up at Niamh, still in a daze. But Clare was fuming with embarrassment. How could he do something so shameful while being a guest in someone else’s home? Just how desperate and indiscriminate was this man?
She never really liked him anyway, despite running a record company. He had too much of the frivolous air that permeated the entertainment industry.
He spent his days partying and sleeping around with internet celebrities one day and models the next.
This man with such a chaotic personal life had engaged in such debauchery with Miss Hipps from the Hipps family.
It was simply shocking.
On the other hand, Corey seemed unfazed by it all.
Niamh and her sister Chaya had both been in several relationships before, which Corey knew well enough. The circle they were in was small; everyone knew who was dating whom.
The sisters were practically wearing their hearts on their sleeves as they flitted between men, hoping to marry into wealth and become mistresses of wealthy families someday.
But this behavior made Clare furious. Was he really so hungry for sex that he couldn’t control himself? Did he have to do it at this time and place?
And to think that he did it with Joseph! Even if you have no shame left, doesn’t the Hipps family deserve some respect?
At this point, both Niamh and Joseph came back to their senses; Joseph’s face turned green with anger when he realized that he had been set up by that woman – how could she trick him like this?
He felt terrible about being outsmarted by a weak woman like her; his whole demeanor changed as soon as these thoughts crossed his mind.
He stood up angrily then straightened out his clothes until once again looking like an elegant CEO of a record company. “Mr. Hipps,” said Joseph apologetically, “I’m sorry for what happened here today but I must leave now.”
Only now did Niamh realize what exactly happened – she turned red-faced from anger then burst into tears. “You can’t just leave after taking advantage of me! Why can you just walk away?”
Stopping abruptly mid-stride towards the door, he turned around to face her. “Miss Hipps, do you want me to explain what happened today? Are you sure you’re not afraid if I tell everything?”
Niamh was both angry and anxious. Her reputation had been ruined, especially in front of Clare, who had such an attitude. He was shameless.
She grabbed Joseph’s hand and looked at Clare with tears in her eyes. “Uncle, it must be Sylvia who framed me and Mr. Henson. You… you have to help us!”
Clare looked annoyed as he sneered at Niamh. He felt so disappointed in her. “Miss Andrews has never appeared here before, yet you lie without even thinking? You open your mouth and say you were framed? Did Sylvia come all the way here just to frame you? Have you ever taken a good look at yourself?”
How could there be such a foolish person from the Hipps family?
Niamh was furious; she felt dizzy with anger as blood rushed to her head.
She had suffered such humiliation, only to be scolded by Clare like this now.
She walked quickly towards Joseph and raised her hand to hit him but he tightly held onto her wrist.
“Miss Hipps, please behave yourself.”
The words ‘behave yourself’ were like a loud slap that hit Niamh’s face hard.
Her throat hurt so much that she could hardly speak as she shouted at Joseph. “I’ll sue you for rape! You beast!”
Chaya watched this scene unfold; her voice sounded uncomfortable as she pulled Niamh aside. “Sis, don’t get angry anymore; someone must have set you up – maybe it was Sylvia.”
Then she turned to Clare again. “Uncle, my sister is usually gentle and kind-hearted; how can she do something like this? Someone must have plotted against her – but because of how naive my sister is – they succeeded.”
Joseph looked at these two sisters acting foolishly together; he really couldn’t stand them anymore.
These two fools still dreamed of getting rid of Sylvia.
They were too stupid.
He wanted to play around with the Hipps family sisters too but now… these two sisters are just too stupid – brainless idiots.
What’s the point of playing with them?
Sylvia is more attractive but unfortunately, she is a rose with thorns that cannot be easily picked off.
At this point in time during the family banquet inside the hall has officially begun but their absence immediately caught everyone’s attention which eventually led them sending out their steward looking for them only for him witness what happened earlier and quickly reported back Queena about it.
Queena almost fainted from anger.
Especially with so many people, although it was just a family banquet, there were quite a few relatives and friends who came, as well as some nobles who were usually friendly with the Hipps family.
Queena almost choked on her food when she heard this. Her face turned pale and she couldn’t eat anymore. “Everyone, please help yourselves. Clare will be back soon.”
She finished speaking and instructed the butler to quickly call Clare back.
At this point, Joseph had left, leaving only Chaya, Niamh and Corey behind. Niamh felt like she was going crazy; she was so angry that she raised her hand to hit her sister Chaya and hysterically shouted. “I’m your older sister! How could you do this to me?”
Chaya covered her face in pain from being hit; She didn’t understand how things had ended up with Niamh being together with Joseph.
She looked at Niamh pitifully. “Sis, I really don’t know what happened. I didn’t frame you. You must believe me! We’re sisters!”
“What does it matter if we’re sisters? Sisters can do terrible things for men too! Do you also like Franklin? That’s why you did this to me! You’re not targeting Sylvia at all; it’s me!”
Niamh angrily shouted.
“You two sisters should go back now instead of continuing to embarrass yourselves here.” Clare became annoyed; he spoke coldly. “Get out of here!”
Niamh and Chaya met Clare’s icy gaze which made them feel frightened immediately.
Especially for Niamh who almost couldn’t muster the courage to look at him again before silently turning around to leave.
Seeing this scene unfold before him made even Clare more disgusted by his niece’s disgusting behavior earlier – especially seeing how indecently dressed his niece was – while looking over at Sylvia sitting next to Queena radiating elegance that shone through every inch of her body making everyone else seem like trash in comparison.
Clare walked over quickly sat down on Queena’s other side saying “Mom, sorry for keeping you waiting.”
Queena lifted an eyelid, glanced at him and then asked “Is everything taken care of?”
Thinking about what he saw earlier – especially the nauseating image of his niece’s indecency – while looking over again at Sylvia made him realize just how different they were from each other.
Sylvia was elegant and charming with outstanding temperament while those Hipps family sisters were simply garbage.
How dare those two sisters think they could compete for Franklin?
It was ridiculous!
It wasn’t that he wasn’t on board with his own nieces’ plans but rather because he simply couldn’t bring himself around supporting them wholeheartedly.
“Miss Andrews, I must apologize to you,” Clare stood up and poured a glass of wine, raising it towards Sylvia. “My two nieces have caused you trouble, haven’t they?”
Sylvia looked surprised at him. “Mr. Hipps, what are you talking about? I think they are quite lovely – beautiful and very friendly. They invited me to stroll through the garden but I declined as I wanted to stay with Queena.”
As Clare listened to Sylvia’s words, he admired her a little more.
