“Those losers are only envious of you because you have a prosperous career and a wonderful family. They hoped against hope that you would be expelled from the Bradley mansion… Keep fighting the good fight, Thea. Don’t give those people what they want to see if you can help it! You carry yourself confidently when you appear in front of the camera.” When Zara called Thea, she was practically screaming out of rage against those fans.
Things had never previously reached this level of crisis. Cody’s personal details were being sought out by at least a few individuals.
Thea was beyond frustrated and exhausted by this situation. She was on the verge of announcing that she wanted to leave the entertainment industry, but she knew that Cody and Zara wouldn’t allow it.
At this very moment, Beth unexpectedly gave her a call.
“Yes, Thea, I saw that report on the internet. Are you okay?”
Even though Thea was so exhausted, she nevertheless made an effort to smile and say, “Still breathing. It won’t be an issue at all. How is the show going tonight?”
“There is no need for you to be concerned about me,” Beth said with a grin. “I’m doing perfectly fine. By the way, my aunt is really talented at writing scripts. It seems to work well for you. On the internet, those individuals are going absolutely bonkers for you. Perhaps it is time for you to create a new piece of work to divert their attention for a little while.”
After a moment’s reflection, Thea asked, “Could you send the script to me first?”
Instantaneously, Beth said, “Of course. I just typed out the script and am sending it to you through email right now. I have faith in you, Thea. You are more than capable of getting through this challenge as well.”
Thea gave Beth a warm grin and replied, “Thank you. That is very significant to me.”
After the phone call was finished, Thea retreated to the comfort of the sofa. Daniel went up to her while carrying two snack packs and approached her. He cut the top off of one of the bags of chips and handed it to his mother while saying, “Mommy, have this. Sweets will make you feel better.”
Thea gave a warm smile and replied, “Thank you, baby.” She didn’t feel like eating anything, but she compelled herself to have a few snacks nonetheless. She didn’t want her son to be anxious about anything.
Franco offered her a drink of the juice he had brought with him.
The babies didn’t say anything. They did nothing except sit there in complete silence, staring at her with wide eyes as if attempting to decipher the various expressions on her face. Thea was aware that the boys’ gloomy disposition was likely due to her. She yawned and stretched as if nothing had ever occurred to her, and then she exclaimed, “Ugh!” “Pizza was something that we really wanted for dinner!”
Daniel smiled and looked at his brother before saying, “Heard that, Ed. Pizza is the dish that Mom would want for dinner. Go tell Granny.”
Before exiting the room, Franco gave a short salute and then clicked his heels together.
Thea stumbled, which caused her mouth to widen wide. Daniel had a reputation for being the quieter and more reserved of the two brothers. She was taken aback when Franco obeyed the instructions of his sibling, who was much younger than him.
Daniel pretended as though he was unaware of the shock that was evident in his mother’s eyes. He climbed onto the sofa and laid a little hand on Thea’s forearm before asking, “What happened exactly? You know you can tell me everything.”
Daniel carried himself in a manner befitting a man of his years. Thea was a little bit frightened by it.
No matter how intelligent these lads were, Thea didn’t want them to share her worries when they were still little boys because she didn’t want them to understand.
So she deceived everyone by saying, “There is nothing. Really. I’m not overly worn out, just a little bit.”
“Mom,” When Daniel gazed firmly into Thea’s eyes and declared, “Franco and I will always protect you, I promise you that,” she was taken aback. If things are difficult for you right now, you should come to chat with us about it. You will experience an improvement in how you feel as a result.”
This was such a wonderful example of sweetness and adorability.
Thea drew the boy closer to her and planted a sweet kiss on his chubby cheek before saying, “I have to admit that I’m having some difficulties right now. And I have no doubt that you are the most intelligent of the boys. But in all honesty, it’s not that big of a deal. When it comes to relatively unimportant matters such as this one, I don’t require your assistance. Your insight, together with that of your brother’s, will be put to better use in the future.”
Daniel sighed, “Fine. Always keep in mind the importance of looking for yourself.”
Thea confirmed with a nod, “I will.”
After a ten-minute delay, Franco returned to the room and said, “Granny said she would make pizza.” If pizza can’t improve your mood, perhaps a night in front of the television can do the trick. “Would you like some popcorn?”
Thea chuckled to herself and said, “Popcorn will be nice.”
Franco ran out of the parlor instantly.
“Mom, I will go grab you some ice cream,” Daniel reported before leaving the room.
Thea nodded, smiling.
When Cody entered the room, Thea was all alone.
“What’s wrong? I heard the boys yelling about something.” Cody looked worried.
Thea smiled, “Everything’s fine. Oh, by the way, Beth’s sending a new script to me. I’m hesitant about accepting it or not right now.”
Cody sat down and pulled her in, “You can accept it if it’s a good one. But you don’t look like you’re worried about that only. What exactly happened? Tell me.”
Thea dipped her head, “I don’t know… I just couldn’t shake off the feeling that something just went very wrong… Could it be a trap? The script.”
Cody smiled, “Do you trust Beth then?”
