The night after Thea sent the Tweet, Derek went to a bar alone.
Derek had been feeling that he and Thea were drifting apart since Thea started to be with Cody Bradley all the time. When he tried to approach Thea again, he didn’t even have a chance anymore.
Derek couldn’t help but feel that there was an invisible net protecting Thea firmly, so he couldn’t even get any near to her.
Derek sat there, drinking glass after glass. He remembered that he and Thea had actually met in a bar.
He had thought that he and Thea would end up together. He had thought that she was the love of his life.
But he still failed to keep her with him.

The discussion about Thea online lasted for nearly a month.
During the whole month, Thea was staying with a new crew. This was a sequel to a movie she shot a year ago.
The film was a popcorn film. The storyline was light, and Thea and the male lead were both magnificent actors. They finished the shooting pretty soon.
It only took the crew three months to finish the shooting.
And then, another audition passed. Thea successfully got the leading role in a period drama.
She had had her style, and scripts made sure of. And she only needed to wait until the shooting officially began.
The director asked her to go to the construction site of the drama to do a pre-shooting to figure out how things coordinated.
Since the site was newly constructed, the testing took a bit longer than Cody expected.
Cody was not happy about this. He didn’t see the point of rushing the shooting. He wanted to find the director and talk about it.
However, Thea stopped him. The weather was still cold. Grace worried about Thea so much since the girl tended to catch a cold easily. So she made freshly baked desserts every day.
After finishing a couple of night scenes, Thea went back to her hotel room. It was almost dawn now.
The director gave Thea a half day off so she could get some sleep.
The scenes she shot earlier were all crying scenes. Thea felt her eyes hurt after finishing the shooting. Daisy found a small bottle of eye drops to help her get rid of the dryness she felt.
Grace also went to Thea’s hotel room.
She just made some hot chocolate. She knew Thea would sleep better after having a mug of it.
When Grace found Thea’s mug, she noticed there was tea in it. She stared at the cold tea for a while before giving it a sniff. And then, Grace went pale, “Thea, where did you get the tea?”
Thea sat up from her bed, blinking her eyes, “I filled it when I worked on the crew. It tastes quite well.”
“Well?” Grace looked so angry, “Do you know that someone added something to your tea?”
Thea’s mouth dropped open, “What? Is someone trying to drug me? But everyone’s drinking the same kind of tea. How did they manage to?”
“It smelt weird. I know this kind of herb. It’s called Tibet Red Flower, and it has mild poison. If a woman drinks this thing too many times, she won’t be able to get pregnant in the future. You only got in the crew for days. It’s lucky that we found out this early.”
“Then how…” Thea couldn’t wrap her mind around this.
“This kind of plant is unable to be tested. I wonder who’s this vicious and sneaky to use this kind of thing on you… Have you ever offended anyone recently?”
Daisy was so scared that she looked like she was about to cry, “What the heck just happened? Thea’s been nice to everyone. Who could ever do this to her?”

When Cody heard about the tea, he instantly came back from his company. Before he entered the hotel, he had already called Matt to investigate the whole thing.
Thea was pulled into a tight hug the minute she saw Cody’s face.
“How dare those people!” Cody hissed between his teeth. The idea that he and Thea would never be able to have their babies was beyond him.
Cody swore to Thea that he would find this rat and make him pay.
Thea sighed as she pressed her cheek against his chest, “You don’t need to investigate it, Cody. I know what happened.”
Cody thought for a pause and calmed down. He knew Thea. Thea would never accept food or drinks from strangers unless that person were close to her.
Thea suddenly recalled who the person who filled her tea during the daytime was.
It was Maria. They were quite close.
Maria also played a role in this drama. And Thea was the one who introduced her to the director.
Thea would never expect her to be the one who did this to her.
She thought they were friends.
However, it turned out she didn’t know Maria’s true face after all.
