Paris took Stella to the ball, and she went with them.
She asked with a worried expression, “Did Rachel really get furious at you? Will she be angry at you for doing that?”
A glance was shot by Paris in Thea’s direction as she exited the room, and she stated, “She won’t be furious with me. She will simply go to Thea in order to cause difficulty for her.”
When Stella was following Paris from behind as they departed, Stella said, “But she looked really pissed off back then.”
Stella was unable to comprehend the entire situation.
Paris shrugged and said, “She was mad because I could see right through her. In her heart, she could not help but hold Thea responsible for the public humiliation. In addition to that, Eliot talked to Thea for virtually the entirety of the previous night. Rachel is interested in becoming a brand ambassador for their wares. It’s a big deal in my book. Rachel already has a sufficient amount of hatred for Thea as a result of the fact that she used to force her to make a fool of herself in public. Now, Thea has destroyed her opportunity. I’m willing to bet that Rachel doesn’t have the guts to rip Thea’s head off. Rachel would never be furious at me because she has such a strong dislike for Thea.”
Stella only realized what Paris was saying right now, “So, Thea will definitely suffer for what she did to Rachel.”
Paris smiled coldly, “I hope so. By the way, your drama is gonna air tonight. This is your biggest chance to promote yourself to the public. Don’t disappoint, Derek.”
Stella instantly nodded, “Of course. I will never let you or Derek down.”
Paris nodded, “The male lead is quite popular right now. I noticed there are not enough fans shipping you two. You have to make that chemistry happen. Make some rumors spin around if it’s necessary. Mention him as much as possible during the interviews. He’s more popular than you right now. You need to learn to use his popularity.”
Stella blinked and nodded, “Of… Of course.”
Paris hummed, “Don’t be stupid, okay? Everyone superstar knows how to use whatever they can put their hands on during the period right before their careers soar. You need to learn about the rules and play the game well. So you will achieve the biggest at the smallest cost. Just do whatever you can as long as it will bring you exposure and discussion. Get it?”
Stella nodded, “Of course. I will do whatever you say, Paris.”
Right now, Stella is the most important project of the company. Paris decided to train her for the company because Derek had done so much for her.
Stella was also determined to win in this industry.
Paris hated Thea’s guts. As long as Thea could fall in the end, Paris didn’t care about who was the one who brought her down.

When the ball was over, Thea left the hall and went back in her car. She had promised Dylan to meet him in a cafe not far from here.
Cody frowned after hearing that, “It’s the middle of the night. Can’t you go visit him tomorrow?”
Thea thought for a pause, “But Dylan looked like he had something really important to tell me. It’s probably about our cooperation. I should see him. I’ve already made the promise.”
Cody’s face fell. He turned to face the window, not saying anything.
Maybe Thea should stop being an actor. This job was quite dangerous. There were too many people jealous of Thea’s success, and they were planning to set her up all the time. What was even worse was that Cody could tell some men were coveting Thea.
Thea had mentioned to him once that she wanted to become a director one day. Maybe it was time for him to help her make this dream come true.
“Are you getting mad at me, Cody?” Thea noticed the look on her boss’s handsome face, leaning forward.
Cody tried to suppress the anger, looking away, “Nope. You’re thinking too much.”
Thea grabbed his hand and left a kiss on his cheek, “Come on. It’s just having a cup of coffee. Dylan and I are really just friends.”
All the bad moods instantly evaporated. Cody’s ears were extremely red as he ruffled Thea’s long hair, “Alright… Alright. You don’t owe me any explanation. Just come back as fast as possible, okay?”
Thea laughed and left another kiss on his cheek.
The car stopped before a cafe soon. Zara was the one who stepped off the car first. Thea was the next. Before she could walk off, however, Cody suddenly stopped her.
Thea looked back confusingly, and Cody just took off his coat and handed it to Thea, “Put it on. It’s cold outside.”
Thea wanted to say that the cafe must have its own air-conditioning. But she knew better than to argue with Cody when he was already so angry.
So she took the coat and draped it over her naked shoulders.
Zara held the door open for Thea, and they just walked in.
Zara was quite nervous about the meeting. She knew Cody was quite mad at Dylan for stealing Thea’s time.
Zara didn’t even know why Dylan was so bold. Even though Dylan’s contract was one of the top tiers, Cody was still his boss. Couldn’t he tell that Cody had a crush on Thea?
Zara knew Cody was a noble man, and he would never use the contract to give Dylan a hard time.
But still… Zara wished the war could be avoided.
When Zara and Thea walked into the cafe, Dylan and his agent were already there waiting for them.
It turned out Dylan really only wanted to talk about the cooperation. Zara let out a long breath.
She had been worried that she wouldn’t be able to explain the whole thing to her boss. However, it seemed like things were not as complicated as she thought it was.
