Both Drew and Fritzi were interested in seeing Thea.
Cody drove Thea all the way back to their house, where he stayed with her for the entire day. After that, on the next day, he made the decision to take Thea to the Bradley residence after breakfast.
Drew and Fritzi said that they were bored at home and didn’t have much to do there. They did what they were told.
After having a great meal inside the house, all of the family members made the decision to step out onto the balcony to take advantage of the sunshine.
Cristelle prepared some fresh juice by cutting up some fruit and making it herself, then she asked the maids to deliver it to the second floor.
While Thea scanned through her Twitter feed, her head was propped up on Cody’s chest as they sat cozily together in the long chair.
“What the…” is what she uttered. When Thea read the news broadcast regarding Jessica’s death, her eyes opened, and she exclaimed, “I thought the Lee house spent money to cover up her death. Why is it that information still leaked out?”
Both Mia and Candace were there with them at the time.
The words that Thea had spoken had piqued their interest. “What the heck happened?” Thea let out a sigh before presenting them with the posts.
At this particular moment, everyone on the internet was in sorrow for Jessica.
The comment sections of her blogs were deluged with messages of grief and candles from her legion of devoted followers.
Some of Shawn’s fans even managed to locate his account. They were making the accusation that he was a worthless piece of human garbage.
Some individuals even discovered images and addresses of Shawn’s parents, along with a list of the revolting acts that were done at the Lee house. And they accomplished a good deal.
The Lee house’s business was negatively impacted as a result. Overnight, the value of their shares took a dramatic nosedive. They received an overwhelming number of refund requests and complaints in the mail.
Even though all of their products were available for purchase in stores, nobody wanted to buy them.
A few individuals stood out from the rest of the angry voices and stated that Jessica did not merit all of the anger that was produced as a result of her actions. They said that she was a gold digger, and that’s why she was clinging to Shawn so much.
The war on the internet took on a bigger scale. And the Lee house became the biggest victim in the aftermath. They lost their money and good reputation.
A couple of days later, Jessica’s parents entered the war, saying that they would sue Shawn and his family.
Thea could tell that these people only wanted to have something to spend their time on. They didn’t even care about Jessica.
All those Youtube accounts only wanted to profit from this. All those commenters only wanted to express their points of view. No one genuinely felt bad for Jessica.
She wished she could stand out and tell everyone that Jessica was pregnant. That she was gonna become a mother if she didn’t fall into the water.
But she was scared that those fans would turn to target her, saying that she only wanted attention.
She was so sick and tired of cyber-bullying. And she still had the interest of the company to be taken into consideration.
Thea was getting more and more anxious. So she decided to throw her phone away.
“Hey…” Cody pulled her in and left a kiss on her hair, “What’s wrong?”
“I thought the Lee house had made sure that no one would know about her death.” Thea said, burying her face into the soft fabric of Cody’s shirt, “She’s passed away. She really deserved some respect. These people only want big news. I wish she could rest in peace.”
“Could it be Anna?” Cody said, “I remembered she mentioned in that tape that she wanted to use her auntie’s connection with the Lee house to take control of their business.”
“Could it be her?” Thea looked up abruptly.
Cody shrugged and said, “It’s a common trick in the competition among the wealthy. There is a good chance that Shawn’s parents were completely unaware of her intentions. But it’s too late to change anything now.”
“Gosh… So you’re saying that she had the intention of destroying the family after she seized control of it? That is extremely cruel.” Thea drew a trembling breath in through her mouth. She had the impression that the animosity between Jessica and Anna was just the result of long-standing animosity between the two.
She was taken aback when she discovered that it had been incorporated into Anna’s original business strategy.
Jessica was moving quite quickly, so it’s puzzling that she should fall like that for no apparent reason. Was there really no way to avoid that? But how did Anna have any idea that Jessica would be there at that particular time? Is that something that she had in mind from the beginning?
Thea had a great deal of interest.
Nevertheless, there was no way for her to ever find out the truth.
Cody was aware of what was going through her mind. He took her tiny hand in his and whispered in a solemn tone, “Now that you’ve seen Anna’s true face, just remember to stay away from her if she attempts to get close to you.”
Thea acknowledged the statement and responded, “Of course.”
Mia and Candace had been paying attention, but they had absolutely no idea what Thea and Cody had been discussing.
Who was this Jessica person?
Who is that Anna too?
And what exactly was the problem with their strategic plan?
“What on earth are you two chatting about? Is there a reason behind this?” Mia queried with a sense of wonder.
“Nothing, in all seriousness.” Thea gave a friendly smile and said, “Just some rumors.”
Mia gave a shrug. She donated one of her eyes to Candace. Candace didn’t do much more than shake her head before returning to eating her fruit.
