Thea called it off.
She understood those kids were only used and induced. They were unaware of the terrible consequences of spreading defamation via the internet. When all they had to offer was blades, making them accept responsibility for something was completely superfluous. She couldn’t help but be relieved to finally uncover the identity of the person who had been lurking in the shadows behind them.
This did not make Ryan happy in any way. He owed Nina something, and as part of the arrangement, he agreed to cast her in the lead role in his upcoming film. Despite this, she went on and decided to cause destruction.
That immediately caused any remaining shred of patience on his part to vanish.
Attacking Thea would not just make things more difficult for Thea. What Nina did was not only distracting, but it also hampered the flow of the show. Even if it meant using her in his next move, Ryan had no interest in doing so. Nina, though, was able to discover his secret. After what happened, Nina’s PR contacted the CEO.

Within one week, the CEO’s wife sued him, and they divorced. The CEO was kicked out of the family without a penny in his pocket.
Millions of people stood out to accuse Nina of being a homewrecker, boycotting her shows and the products she endorsed. Some even went to Zack’s Twitter, congratulating him for dodging a bullet.
Nina was attracted to that CEO for real. Besides, he promised her that he would invest in a movie and that he would make her the female lead no matter what.
She thus decided to take a leap of faith. She had never imagined that this would be her fall. Her career was basically over.

Thea was still eating her chicken breast and salad when she saw this piece of news on her cellphone.

Cody handed her a cup of coffee, “She isn’t worth your time.”
Thea put her phone down, “Yeah. I know she wanted a shortcut but she really made a stupid decision this time. She wanted to find herself a supporter but she ended up getting nothing.”
And then, Thea cast a look at Cody’s food, “Boss… Why are you eating salad with me? You don’t have to. You’re already fit enough.”
Cody smiled, “You’re eating this all day. I don’t want to eat fried chicken right here to make you suffer. Besides, salad is healthy.”
Thea felt complicated, “But you ate salad with me yesterday… and the day before.”
Actually, Cody spent most of his time on the crew with her.
He was losing weight recently.
Thea felt guilty. She decided to eat something richer tomorrow so Cody didn’t have to suffer with her.
“I’m okay,” Cody shrugged, “The sight of you is tasty enough. I really don’t mind salad.”
Thea started to blush furiously.
Couldn’t this man give her a break?
He didn’t even know how hot he was.
Thea used her fork to poke her salad and then decided to take a walk in the park nearby.
Cody went with her.
She had another scene to do a couple of hours later, and she had already had her style done.
Walking in the park, she felt like an authentic Victorian lady. Cody offered his arm. Thea giggled as she took it. They walked down the tree-lined long walk.
Everything was green and refreshing. The breeze on Thea’s face was nice and gentle.
She sneezed a bit, and Cody took off his coat to drape on her shoulders.
“No… I’m really okay… You don’t have to give me this, Cody.”
Right at that moment, a flash of the camera startled Thea.
