“Why on earth would I ever consider attempting to kidnap that foolish whore?! I was solely interested in the money she had. Why would I want to kill her if she can make me money for the rest of my life? I’m not stupid to put myself into trouble.”
The words John used made the officer want to smack John across the face, yet doing so would be against the law. Therefore, he maintained his composure and continued to inquire. “However, according to the findings of our investigation, those kidnappers have previously communicated with you. If it wasn’t you who sent them, then it had to be someone in your immediate circle of friends or family who must be the culprit. Do you have a clue? If you help us out, John, we will be able to release you from our custody right away.”
At first, John didn’t think heavily about what the officer had to say. But, on the other hand, as he began to think about it, he suddenly realized that Fiona had called him on one occasion. She reported that Yolanda was having trouble making it in the industry and pointing Thea as the one who pushed her to rock bottom. Yolanda pleaded with him to intervene after she revealed that Thea was attempting to sabotage her professional career.
Is it possible that Yolanda was the one who hired those men to kidnap Grace?
Did her anger cause her to make such a hideous plan to kidnap Grace?
John’s forehead was covered in a very fine layer of sweat. How could the young lady have been so illogical?
After observing the expression on his face, the officer questioned him, “Have you thought of something to say? I’m all ears.”
John blinked, “No. This has zero bearing on either my family or myself in any way, shape, or form. So don’t try to pull a fast one on us!”
“You are aware that Thea Todd has the most capable legal team, right? She is known to the general population. Following this revelation, you will be required to face the penalties that the laws require of you, and the public will also criticize you for what you did.”
John was on the verge of a nervous breakdown, but he refused to expose his weakness. “I am being completely honest. I never did it. Nobody I know would ever consider doing it!”

Cody was notified by the police of John’s denial of responsibility. Cody grinned in a chilly manner. He is curious about the identity of the person who was responsible for all of this.
Cody was able to recall the events that took place so many years ago.
After the flood swept Thea away, she should have been located on the bank of the river. However, despite spending several days searching close to the river, they were unable to locate the girl.
After then, she must have been removed from the scene by somebody. And that somebody had also transported her to the hospital in order to ensure that no one could locate her.
In the distant past, there was also a kidnapper who was involved.
Could the person responsible for that kidnapping also be responsible for this one?
Cody wasn’t under the impression that he was the only one who thought about the circumstance. It’s possible that his Dad and his Uncle Drew had considered it, too.
Thea had been carried away by the water, but at the same time, someone had been attempting to keep her hidden from them.
It’s possible that somebody did it on purpose, but the fact that they hid the girl shows that they had every intention of breaking the Weston couple’s hearts with their actions.
Who could that possibly be, though?
John was given his freedom the following day. The first thing he did was to give his wife a call.
“Has Yolanda returned to our house? Or, have you ever heard from her?”
As she answered the phone, Fiona was in the middle of feeding their newborn child when she said, “No, she’s a star now, and she’s so busy every day. What’s the matter? By the way, can I ask you about your plans from yesterday? I attempted to reach you by phone.”
John lowered his voice and whispered, “The police have me now.”
“What?! What… What caused that to occur? Are you feeling okay at this moment?” On the other line, Fiona is very close to letting out a scream.
“Listen to me. I’m okay. One thing came to my attention just now. The authorities reported that Grace had been taken captive. Is it possible that Yolanda wasn’t the one who committed the crime?”
“I don’t think that’s the case. Yolanda is not a dummy in any way. She will not engage in illegal behavior regardless of how enraged she becomes. It’s a suicide attempt.”
After hanging up the phone with her husband, Fiona placed another call to her daughter. It was necessary for her to check.
At the time that she called, Yolanda and Kaine were on their way back into the city.
She was going to be joining her crew shortly. And the plan was for her to board the airplane. So when she noticed that her mother was calling, she did not hesitate to answer the phone and simply said, “Yes?”
Fiona repeated to her daughter what her husband John had said to her earlier and said, “See? This bitch got her mother into trouble. I told you that everyone who comes in contact with her would fall into a jinx. It’s not just the two of us who can’t stand being around her. I suppose that she must have angered one of the more prominent members of the entertainment industry. According to the authorities, those kidnappers were paid to take her mother’s life. They were paid fifty million dollars by the person who hired them!”
When Yolanda heard that, her phone was the first thing to hit the ground once she heard it. $50 minion! What led up to that event?
