Thea took out her phone in the car. The official account of the company posted the footage. Chris, Jessica, Kevin, and herself were all included. Not only them, they even got the paparazzi on camera. The PR of the company was quite fierce. They didn’t obscure the paparazzi’s faces. The direction of the issue turned all of a sudden.
Chris’s fans jumped out and started to tell everyone that it was all the paparazzi’s fault, not their baby’s.
“Not his fault? Are you kidding me? I remember you guys used to mock Thea for shamelessly ‘throwing herself on Chris .’ And now, y’all saying that it was all the paparazzi’s fault.”
“Anyone with the slightest IQ would know that your Chris tried to get some rumors spread with our Thea to make himself relevant again. It is so disgusting.”
Thea reloaded the page, and Kevin already reposted the tweet, “It was just a small hang-out with friends. When can those paparazzi leave them alone?”
Jessica also retweeted, “Why didn’t they get me on camera, though? Is it because I’m ugly? LOL.”
Thea snorted as she saw Jessica’s comment. This girl was cute.
Christ was the last one who retweeted the post, “Sorry, guys. No rumors. We had fun last night. And I wish you guys a great day.”
Some fans just couldn’t take a break.
They were still spamming comments on his Twitter.
“Why did Thea try to steer clear from you? Aren’t you two shooting a new show? What is wrong with her?”
“Playing screen couples to market the show is a basic work ethic for an actor. Thea Todd is so selfish.”
“Yeah. You can tell she definitely doesn’t give a damn about the show. She only cares about herself.”
Thea was speechless.
What did these people expect her to do then? Thea shook her head and threw her phone away. Some people like her, and some people hate her guts. She couldn’t make everyone happy.
Thea decided to read the script more rather than spending time reading absurd comments.

Meanwhile, at the shooting site of My Dear Architect, Chris was clearly not in the right state. He tried a couple of scenes, but none of them passed. He ended up asking for leave, saying that he would come back in a couple of days.
The director was so annoyed, but he didn’t dare to say anything. There were only two main characters. One of them was coming, and the other one was leaving.
How could they manage the shot for the following days?
This was actually Chris being stupid. They were a screen couple anyway. If Chris wanted to hype it up, he could wait until the show was aired.
But he just had to do it before the show was made. Now, things got bad, and he just chose to go.
When Thea went back to the crew, Chris had long gone. The assistant director said Chris had asked for leave, and he only left a stunt to them.
What the heck was going on?
Did he want to shoot a romantic drama using a stunt? There would be millions of close-ups. What did he expect the crew to do? Photoshop his faces on those shots? Thea had never met any actors being this irresponsible.
Thea found herself incapable of understanding this ridiculous world anymore. Thea thus decided to call Chris herself. The feud aside, they needed to finish the shooting first.
She knew she must be the first one to stand out and shoulder the whole thing because Chris was clearly a man’s baby.
However, she only found Chris blocked her number after dialing his number.
Thea was appalled.
Are you kidding me? I should be the one who blocks you. Okay? She wanted to scream her thoughts yet took them back.
The director was even more irritated, “He left a stunt, right? Bring the stunt!”
It seemed like it was the only way.
What they didn’t expect was, after getting groomed and styled, the stunt looked even prettier than Chris himself.
The director’s mouth dropped open. He couldn’t believe he had failed to detect such a pretty boy in his crew after he had spent so many days walking around under his nose.
Thea was curious as she studied the perfect face of the stunt, “What’s your name?”
The stunt looked like he was only about 19 or 20. He looked even younger than Thea.
The stunt was thrilled to get the opportunity, “You can call me Luca, Miss Todd.”
“You’re such a lucky boy, Luca,” Thea smiled, “My boss has been looking for a male actor with the potential to sign. Why don’t you join Honor Entertainment so we can work as colleagues?”
Luca couldn’t believe what he had just heard, “Really?”
Thea nodded, “Of course. With a look like that, it would be a waste if you don’t debut as an actor.”
And then, Thea just went to call Cody. Cody was always fast. He came to the site in person.
Zara asked Luca to come over, and the three of them had a conversation. And then they just signed Luca up.
After the conversation, Zara went to discuss with the director, telling him to let Luca be the male lead.
The director seemed troubled, “But we’ve signed a contract with Chris. I don’t think we can change the male lead just like that. If Chris decides to sue us, I don’t think we can take it.”
“Well…” Zara folded her arms before her chest, “Chris broke the contract first by not showing up during the shooting, right? And you really don’t need to worry about anything. Our company will take care of the legal battle.”
The director knew the boss of Honor Entertainment was a Bradley. He thus became less worried and let Luca become the male lead.
When Chris got to know the piece of information, Thea and Luca had redone most of the scenes. Luca performed so well. A lot of workers in the crew thought his acting skills were even better than Chris’s despite being a rookie.
Chris went to the crew to question the director, “What the heck is this, Adam? How could you just kick me out without even informing me?”
Chris’s agent smiled coldly, “Good job for backstabbing, Adam. The female lead could ask for a break. Yet Chris got fired just because he took a couple of days off? I don’t think it’s legal. Let’s see each other on the court.”
“There’s no need for a lawsuit,” The director was not timid before them anymore. He took out the contract, “We will pay you for the damage. Just name a price so we can both get it over with. My crew doesn’t need a man-child who constantly neglects his responsibility as an actor.”
Adam had never been this tough before.
The agent’s lips set in a thin line, “Is this because of Thea Todd? Is this her idea?”
“I am the one who decided to change the actor. She’s just an actress who tries to do her job. Don’t throw blame at her.”
“Oh really,” The agent sounded sarcastic as he folded his arms before his chest, “I heard Honor Entertainment has signed Luca. You won’t be this determined if Honor Entertainment doesn’t get your back. Who are you trying to fool?”
Adam frowned, “Luca got signed because he’s a hard-working young man and a great actor. You need to be less sour.”
