The assistant followed Yolanda into a fancy hotel, noticing Yolanda entered room 1081. The assistant smelt something fishy. He called his boss and waited until the next morning.
Yolanda walked out of the room at 5. About 30 minutes later, Bentley Scott also walked out of that room, looking satisfied with a creepy smile on his face.
Before sending them to his boss, the assistant took pictures of both of them.
Paris was a bit surprised to see those pictures. Her red lips curled up into a nasty smile. She didn’t expect Yolanda to be more slutty than she imagined. Guess her plan wouldn’t affect Yolanda that much anyway.
So, Paris asked Yolanda out again tonight.
Yolanda did a bit of makeup before going to the Japanese restaurant.
Yolanda thought this was just a simple date between the colleagues. However, she was surprised to see a couple of middle-aged men sitting there with Paris.
Paris urged her to sit down and introduced those suited yet old men to Yolanda, “This is Mr. Kaine, deputy president of the Southwest Channel. And this is his assistant.”
Yolanda was awed that Paris would introduce such a big figure to her. A bit of a smile showed up on her face. “It’s good to see you, Mr. Kaine. I’m Yolanda Gordon.” She still expected her shows to be aired and purchased by these channels. These men were great resources. Yolanda was determined to get them on her contact list. Paris smiled as she noticed that Yolanda had bitten the hook.
None of them ate that much. The dinner was mainly about chatting and drinking sake. Yolanda told a couple of jokes to make Kaine laugh.
Mr. Kaine and his assistant both had gotten a bit drunk by this time.
Paris poured them more sake and suggested they dismiss after this round of drink. Yolanda agreed. She drank her cup of sake, and then she suddenly passed out.
Paris arranged for Yolanda to get in Kaine’s car. She went back to her place after that.
Mr. Kaine knew what Paris was meant to do. So he accepted it. He asked his assistant to give him the keys, and he drove the car to a quiet park nearby.
After the car pulled over, it started to shake and creak.
Yolanda woke up when Kaine was still moving back and forth above her body. She realized that she got raped again. She wanted to scream, but Kaine covered her mouth. His voice threatened as he hissed, “You should feel grateful that I lay my eyes on you, bitch!”
Tears welled up in Yolanda’s eyes. She felt so disgusted. But she also knew that after sleeping with Bentley, there was already no way back for her. Now that she has gotten involved with Kaine, maybe she should just accept the fact and make the best use of this connection, so she closed her eyes and grabbed the man’s fat waist.
Kaine was getting more excited after seeing Yolanda react like this. He let go of his hand, and Yolanda also didn’t scream.
Yolanda didn’t question Paris Dunn the next day. She could guess that Paris was the one who planned the nightmare she had. But she knew she would never be able to rival Paris, given her current position in the company.
Fifteen days later, Redline was officially aired on TV, and it got great feedback from the audience.
All the parties involved got fat benefits. HC entertainment made big money. Paris Dunn also managed to bounce back using this show.
Paris’s image was beyond saving after she pooped herself in public last time. Now, all her fans were shouting everywhere on the internet about how great an actor she was.
After the shooting of Cloud & Moon was over, Thea took a couple of days off. She also started to watch Redline on TV. As foul as Paris was, she was still a good actor. The storyline also helped her a lot.
Cody, however, was unhappy about the news that Redline was aired. He questioned Matt about this, “What the heck is this? I told you to stop the airing of that show!”
Matt sighed heavily, “I’ve investigated the whole thing. It’s the deputy president of the Southwest, Martin Kaine. I’m afraid there is some bribery involved before that show gets aired.”
Cody harshly said, “I want you to keep a close eye on them. If you find any evidence, I want you to report these people immediately. Do you understand?”
Matt nodded and left the office.
Recently, Zara got Thea another important chance in a new TV show, and it is called “My Dear Architect.” They went to the audition a couple of days after receiving the invitation. To Thea’s surprise, not many people were competing for the female lead.
It was not difficult for her to get the role at all.
The male lead was a famous actor, Chris Abbey.
Two weeks later, Thea started another shooting.
The drama series “My Dear Architect” was a modern romantic drama. The female lead was innocent and sweet. And the storyline was simple. Thea didn’t need to study the script too hard. As the storyline was simple, the shooting was also processed quite faster than she expected.
One day, Jessica and Kevin came to visit her. Kevin and Chris both knew each other. Kevin and Jessica asked if they wanted to hang out after today’s shooting. Thea didn’t want to look like a weirdo, so she agreed to go.
Jessica said it was just grabbing a drink, and Thea thought it would be at the bar.
However, when she got out of Kevin’s car, she suddenly realized that it was a club that Jessica and Kevin were taking them to.
Thea instantly wanted to head back. Clubs were usually more chaotic than bars. She didn’t want to get caught up in a mess. So she started to think about an excuse to leave this place.
However, Kevin ran into someone he knew when they got into the club. It was a singer. His name was Brandon, and he was one of the most infamous singers. He didn’t get many great songs, yet he had a bad reputation.
Brandon was thrilled to see his friend. He invited Kevin to go to his suite. Kevin looked a bit hesitant, and Chris encouraged him to drop by and visit the suite. Thea and Jessica had no choice but to follow them.
It turned out Brandon also brought other friends with him.
One of the girls was tall and pretty. She was looking at them while they were coming in.
Jessica instantly recognized that girl. “That one is Miss Bacon. Her dad is the president of Southwest Channel,” Jessica introduced that girl to Thea with a low voice as they entered the suite.
Wow! Thea was amazed as she heard Jessica’s words.
So this one was like the royalty of the showbiz industry? Thea blinked.
