Thea thought only random people caught those photos and posted them online.
What she didn’t know was that Yolanda’s men had been following behind her and sniffing around like dogs.
Yolanda was determined to drag Thea down. Those guys who went to smash Thea’s mom’s cart were also sent there by Yolanda. However, Yolanda didn’t expect her plan to bring so much heat to Thea Todd again. Those people online all thought Thea driving a truck was cute. Thea just became even more popular, becoming the national sweetheart.
Yolanda was angry after seeing the online news. She had lost everything she got. She had slept with that pig to get a role in an irrelevant TV show… But Thea Todd was just so lucky. She didn’t even try anything, yet she still got the best of everything.
Jealousy cut Yolanda’s heart like a knife. However, since her previous attempts had all failed, it was not wise to attack Thea again; whoever the man who’d been trying to protect that woman must have become alert.
Yolanda didn’t want to get in any trouble at this time.
So she decided to stay low and plan out her own route to defeat Thea. Paris Dunn was still the most valuable artist in her agency despite the poop incident. She even got the leading role in another historical drama recently. Tiffany was staying low. She only got a reality tv show, and that was it, barely even getting much exposure to boost her name as an actress.
Tiffany had acted waywardly before. The company thus cut off all her resources to teach her a lesson. However, so many good roles and songs remained in Tiffany’s agent’s hands.
And Yolanda planned to rob them from her. Tiffany wouldn’t need it anyway. The company was probably gonna ditch her in the future. Yolanda thus went to beg her agent.
However, Yolanda’s agent refused to give out all the great resources so randomly.
Yolanda’s family was also quite powerful but not as powerful as Tiffany’s. Tiffany’s situation was only temporary. One day, she would rise again, and she would need a couple of nice roles and songs to bounce back. If Tiffany could return to the top again, no one would be standing in her way after that.
If they went to rob her resources now, they would only get themselves in trouble.
“I don’t know…. Yolanda… You guys are colleagues. If it turns out too ugly, things will be really awkward. Are you sure you want that?” The agent tried to talk Yolanda out of her plan.
Yolanda knew her agent was just being a coward. This man was too afraid to offend Tiffany.
It was not the agent’s fault, actually. Becoming a successful star was not only about being talented and pretty. She also needed the money and connection to advertising herself. That was something Tiffany had, yet Yolanda didn’t have.
However, Yolanda didn’t care.
After the conversation with her agent, she went to find Derek directly.
No one knew what Yolanda told Derek in the office, but when she walked out of the door, she had already got the leading female role from a low-budget TV series that was originally gonna assigned to Tiffany.
Yolanda felt pretty good about herself. Her agent, however, was extremely worried. Offending Tiffany wouldn’t bring them anything good.
Tiffany was wayward and resentful. She wouldn’t tolerate any enemies. It was really not wise for Yolanda to pick a fight against Tiffany.
Just as the agent expected, one day, Tiffany suddenly charged forward in the company’s lobby and slapped Yolanda across her face in front of everyone.
“What the fuck! Tiffany! What are you doing?” Yolanda screamed as she covered her burning cheek with one hand, “You fucking bitch. Ah! Are you….”
Before she could finish the sentence, Tiffany just slapped her again.
“Listen up, Yolanda Gordon,” Tiffany hissed, her features twisted with anger, “You’re just a piece of dog shit, and everyone in this circle knows it! The company might try to hold me back right now, but I will go back sooner or later. Don’t you ever think that you can do whatever you want and take away my roles, you slut! Everyone knows you slept with that fat pig to get a ticket back into the showbiz. What did you do for Derek? Did you suck his cock too?”
Yolanda’s eyes welled up with tears. She had never been openly humiliated like this growing up.
“Bitch, listen up!” Tiffany charged forward as her heels carried heavy sounds of anger as they ticked on the cold floor. She was a bit taller than Yolanda, so she was towering over her as she folded her arms before her chest and leaned forward, “As long as I’m still in this company, I’m gonna be standing higher than you. Not only that, I will raise ever higher to find a better spot to slit your head. And you’re gonna take it, you fucking turd. Do you want to get my position and become better than me? Well, that’s not gonna make me happy. Some people are just born to be better than others. And I will make sure you understand that very well in the years to come. Keep an eye open when you’re sleeping. Yo-lan-da.”
With that, Tiffany just turned around on her heels and walked away.
Yolanda was so scared and humiliated. She crumpled on the floor before the elevator and started to cry miserably.
She also had a rich family, had a strong business foundation, and her mom had raised her like a princess growing up. No one had ever dared to treat her this way. Clenching her teeth, Yolanda swore to herself that she would make Tiffany pay for what she did to her today.
“After slapping Yolanda, Tiffany just walked away with her head held high,” Derek’s assistant reported, looking a bit angry, “She didn’t have to do this… They are colleagues… Sir, you knew it would piss Tiffany off if you gave her role to another person, why did you still do that anyway?”
Derek was flickering through some files, “Why? Tiffany’s staying low, and those roles are in my hands. Should I just let them rot? Yolanda is not as talented as Tiffany. But I still prefer to let my artists make money instead of giving those roles to actresses from other companies,”
“But Yolanda…” The assistant clearly feels bad for the girl.
“Do remember that Yolanda herself was the one who came to my office and begged for the role. She got slapped twice, and she just became the female lead. Don’t tell me it’s not a bargain,” Derek sounded cold, “This is just how showbiz works, Chris. This is cutting the throat, and everyone’s greedy. Decency and pride are not important. The only thing that measures your value is what you did, what you offered, and how much money you can make. Yolanda can do things like this, which proves that she can adapt to the environment. This girl will get big. Just mark my words.”
Chris fell silent before asking. “Then what about Tiffany?”
“She’s killing her career,” Derek shrugged his shoulders, “She won’t walk too long. Our company can’t serve a princess like that. Just find a chance and tell her to fuck off.”
Derek was right. The next year, Tiffany soon ended her contract with HC Entertainment, building up a studio to promote herself.
After spending millions, her reputation just got a little bit better.
