“Thea, you’re famous now.” Beth smiled brightly when Thea returned to the dorm, “I mean, you were famous before, but the audiences absolutely adore you even more.”
Thea could tell her best friend in this show was genuinely happy for her.
“I didn’t even know you were locked in the room back then. Why didn’t you tell me anything?” Beth asked worriedly.
Thea shrugged, “I didn’t even have any evidence back then. Everyone was focusing on the stage at that time. I didn’t want to start any dramas to distract them.”
Beth sighed, “You’re too sweet. But our show does have enough cameras. I bet those wicked people would think twice the next time they wanted to do something disgusting.”
Thea looked over Beth’s shoulder and noticed the look on Tiffany’s face change.
Jessica came into the dorm as well. Jessica went to give Tiffany a hug. She was smiling as she turned to look at Thea and Beth, “I bought some really nice pizza on my way here. We should enjoy it together.”
“Sounds great,” Tiffany suddenly said, “I actually brought some ice cream as well. Let’s enjoy some junk food before the show. It will be quite exhausting in the next couple of weeks.”
Thea arched an eyebrow. It was rare to see Tiffany being so friendly.
Did she finally stop taking Thea as her enemy in this show?
Beth was unhappy about Tiffany’s proposal. Sharing food was nice, but all the girls were going through a competition soon.
Starving themselves would never be supported during the shooting, but facing the camera still required a person to govern herself strictly.
The food Tiffany and Jessica brought was all high-calorie. Those who couldn’t present themselves perfectly before the camera would be eliminated.
“Are you sure? You’re not afraid of gaining weight?” Beth hastily commented.
Jessica pretended to smile sweetly. “It’s not like we’re eating these foods every day. Come on, Beth, live a little. A little bit of junk food won’t kill you.”
Beth wanted to say something more, but Luna suddenly came in, “Guys, what are y’all doing? Wow! Food! Can I join you guys?”
Tiffany widened her smile. “Of course! Come on and join us.”
They ended up sitting by the table and popping open some cokes. Tiffany took out her phone and took a selfie with all the girls in her dorm. After that, she posted the photo on her Instagram.
Countless comments surged up after she posted the picture.
“Thea’s fans, keep your eyes wide open,” Tiffany’s fans were shouting under the photo, “Your ‘perfect princess’ is enjoying a meal with Tiffany. So stop making up ridiculous assumptions that Tiffany was the one who locked her in the dorm. They are clearly friends!”
Thea didn’t even know that Tiffany just used her to wash off the suspicion circulating about her schemes.
“Is Thea Todd really suitable for this business?” Cody frowned as he saw the picture, “Does she have the brain to win in this war? How could she act friendly with Tiffany in a moment like this?”
Candace rolled her eyes, “Thea would never be cunning or calculating, okay? She won’t sell her soul or reduce herself to prove anything. She has a big heart. Besides, I don’t see why her move is stupid. I mean, if people found out that Tiffany was the bully, they would think Tiffany was such a faker and Thea was a sweet girl who had a big heart. Tiffany’s little trick won’t change anything. Besides, Thea also did that to bring your show back on the right track. People watch the show because of those talented girls. No one likes watching calculating people sabotaging each other. I think Thea is pretty smart.”
Cody was a bit speechless. He wouldn’t mind a bit of drama because dramas attracted more audiences. But what Candace said did make some sense. Maybe he should stay out of this and wait to see what Thea Todd was capable of.
However… That Tiffany….
Cody couldn’t stop frowning whenever he thought about that girl. He really didn’t like his artists to be so cunning and scheming.
He probably wouldn’t sign her after the show, and she could go wherever she wanted to.
The crew delayed the shooting of the next round of the competition. Because of the bullying scandals in the show, the director decided to shoot a small game show before the official competition. He wanted the audience to see that the girls were still quite friendly to each other when they were not in the competition.
After a long shooting all day, the girls all went back to their dorms.
Tiffany pulled out a piece of cake wrapped in a small exquisite box and gave it to Thea, “Thea, this is for you.”
Thea cast a look at the box, knowing it must be quite expensive judging by its look.
Tiffany tried so hard to make her gain weight. However, Thea just couldn’t gain any weight no matter how much she ate.
She really wanted Tiffany to know the truth, but Tiffany had already spent too much money on this great undertaking.
Thea smiled and shook her head, ready to take the box and say her thanks.
However, someone suddenly came to knock on the door.
Thea stopped and went to hold the door open. It was Luna again.
“Are you guys eating cake now?” Luna’s eyes widened, “You can’t be serious. I can understand ice cream and pizza because it was the first day… But cake? This late?”
“Well.” Thea cleared her throat as she watched Luna grab the box and throw it into the trash bin, “Do you guys still want to win this show or not?”
Thea cleared her throat, “Tiffany’s just trying to be nice.”
“Be nice?” A cold smirk appeared on Luna’s lips, “Why don’t you eat cake yourself if you think cake is so delicious, Tiff?”
“What do you know?” Tiffany said sharply, “Thea’s tired after today’s show. She needs sugar to feel better. Why can’t you leave us alone, Luna? This is not your dorm.”
“I remember exactly where my dorm is,” Luna glared at Tiffany, “Clearly, I also remember you and Jessica tried to tell everyone that Thea is popular because her rich sugar daddy was secretly spending money on the crew. Or why did other girls not like her in the beginning?”
Thea’s brows raised instantly. So this was what happened.
Jessica and Tiffany exchanged a look. Tiffany took a step forward, her voice dripping with venom, “Don’t you act like you’re all innocent, Luna! You guys were taking Thea as an enemy because y’all were jealous of her popularity online. And now, you’re just sucking upon her because you think you can piggyback on her popularity!”
