“I think we should give Thea more lines.” One of the girls frowned, “She only got about two lines.”
“But Thea is not good at dancing. This song is mainly about rhythm and dancing. We still need to consider the presence of the stage into consideration. If we let Thea have too many parts, she will bring the whole presentation down.” The other girl argued.
“Come on, guys,” Thea suddenly cut in,” I don’t want you guys to argue for me. We don’t have much time left. We need to start to practice as soon as possible. It’s just, can I sing the four lines I got in my way? I want to make a little change.”
“No problem, as long as we don’t need to change our parts to adapt to yours,” one of the girls said.
“No, you don’t need to make any changes,” Thea smiled.
They started the practice soon. Thea was not good at dancing, but her friendly attitude won her teammates over. She didn’t hold any grudge at all. This was a competition. Everyone had the right to get the best for themselves. Thea didn’t want to blame anyone.
She only wanted to do her best and try to break her limits a little this time. She worked so hard that some of her teammates even stayed with her after the practice was over, trying to help her with her choreography.
Thea did it extremely seriously.
She didn’t go back to her dorm even when it was already 1 am. She was the only one left in the studio. And she was still practicing.
She didn’t even notice when Candace suddenly came into the room. “Thea! Why are you still here?!”
“Candace?” Thea whispered around, hand shooting out to grasp the hemline of her t-shirt, “You scared the hell out of me.”
“I went to see Beth, and Beth told me you didn’t go back after dinner. What’s wrong?” Candace asked nervously.
“The new song… The choreography is a bit difficult for me. I’m still practicing my part a bit longer.
“I see…” Candace let out a smile, “Do you mind if I take a look?”
Thea was a bit confused, but she still handed her phone to Candace.
Candace quickly glanced and smiled, “It’s not that easy. I can teach you how to do that.”
And then, Candace just stood up from the cold floor and danced Thea’s part perfectly.
“Wow!” Thea couldn’t keep her mouth shut after watching Candace finish her part perfectly, “I didn’t know you could dance, Candace. Where did you learn this?”
Candace smiled at her, “I learned this a long time ago. Come on. Stand up. Let’s get this done so you will get some sleep before tomorrow’s performance.”
“Great. Let’s do this!” Thea grinned back as she stood up on her feet again.

Meanwhile, after smoking a cigarette on the balcony, Jessica came back and walked down the corridor. The door of the dancing room was ajar. The light made Jessica curious. She went there and took a look, her mouth falling open as she saw someone was teaching Thea how to dance secretly.
This was cheating! She felt she needed to tell Tiffany immediately.
Tiffany didn’t stop giving Thea an attitude. When she woke up the next morning, she went to the bathroom directly. After she came out, Tiffany happened to walk into the bathroom as well.
Tiffany rolled her eyes and bumped Thea’s shoulder on purpose.
Thea couldn’t take it anymore. She threw her towel away, hands on her hips, “Tiffany, can you stop acting so shady? I don’t remember I did anything to offend you, did I? Can you act like a normal person and stop being a pain in the ass?”
Tiffany sniffed coldly, “You really think you’re gonna become a big star, aren’t you? Don’t tell me what is normal. You being a part of this show is not normal at all! You know what you did!”
Thea barely contained her anger, “So what do you think I did? I’d like to hear from you. I don’t remember if I’ve ever done anything against the rules. I became a competitor in this show because I performed well. If you can spend some time running your fan base and try not to be so boring, you will probably get as much support as I do. Being shady and calculating is not helpful. I hope you can stop this! I only want a fair competition!”
Jessica was clearly on Tiffany’s side, “Stop lying, Thea. You really can’t tell us that all your support is coming from your fans. I saw you in the dance room last night. Someone was trying to teach you how to dance. It’s not fair at all. Did you sleep with the sponsor of the show, Thea? Is that why you got all those privileges?”
Thea’s eyebrows raised. She couldn’t believe how dirty-minded these people were.
“Unlike some people, Jessica,” Thea tried to suppress her rage, “People like me don’t need to sleep with other people to get support. That girl who taught me was just an employee of this show. She would also be glad to teach you if you wanted to learn our choreography. I don’t think it’s okay for you to accuse me of such behavior. After all, in this room, we all know who’s the one who brought her way onto the stage, don’t we?”
Thea was talking about Tiffany. Tiffany needed to pay to get into this show. All of them knew the truth.
Tiffany went extremely pale. Thea rolled her eyes and slammed the door closed before she went to the canteen to find Beth.

The performance will begin at night. The girls worked pretty hard. Thea made a lot of progress compared with yesterday. After a whole morning of practice, she sweated like a pig, and she had to go back to her dorm to take a shower and get changed.
However, after showering and changing, Thea found herself locked in the dorm. No matter how hard she banged on the door, no one came to unlock the door for her.
