Chapter 321: Aggressive PDA

The boy cast a nasty look at Linford. Linford pretended he didn’t see anything. “I met Miles Johnson before. This man has the instinct of a predator. But he’s got a rather gentle and polite bearing. No one could tell how vicious and bloodthirsty nature was, except me. He would do anything as long as he could get what he wanted. No one can shake him in this country. And… the Johnson family also has some political backups. Their family is hard to defeat.”
The Johnson family was slightly more powerful than the Bradley family. They had never started any wars yet because they were based in different cities.
With the White family’s assistance, the Johnson family would destroy them. Cristelle was a bit scared.
“However, we also don’t need to get too worried, if the Weston family joins us, we probably still stand a chance.” Linford pondered.
Frank added, “The Watson will also choose your side, Linford.”
Linford turned to smile at Frank.

The news about the marriage between the White and the Johnson family was everywhere the next day.
Darwin was so anxious after that. He went to Franco’s immediately after he left the army, “Father, do you know that Lana is gonna marry Johnson soon?”
Pop nodded calmly, “What do you want to tell me then?”
Darwin sighed as he sat down, “I know they are relatives anyway… But they seemed to serve to strengthen the alliance. I have a bad feeling about this one.”
“You’re thinking too much, son. Linford’s gonna take the babies and Cristelle to their city and attend the wedding. You need to retire as soon as possible. Remember to deal with everything and don’t leave any evidence of your past mistakes, okay?”
Darwin didn’t like this kind of feeling. But he knew he needed to listen to his father no matter how much he hated quitting his job.

Time passed quickly. Lana’s wedding is finally coming. Linford took his private jet and flew to their city. Except for Cristelle and the babies, other friends of Linford and Cristelle also came along.
They went directly to Linford’s villa. Fritzi got a bit bored after getting there. She went to Cristelle and suggested doing some shopping.
Cristelle hesitated to go out, “I don’t have anything I need, hon. Why don’t you guys go without me?”
Claire was also exhausted, and she wanted to stay at home. Fritzi suddenly whined, “Come on, what’s wrong with you guys? Let’s just go out and have fun. Besides, we can probably get to know more about the Johnson family. The locals must know a lot about the family.”
Claire instantly sat up as she heard the possibility, “That’s actually a great idea.”
But Cristelle is still hesitant to go, “Can we go tomorrow? I’m honestly exhausted today.”
Claire and Fritzi thus both tried to persuade her. Cristelle was almost dragged out of the villa. Candace enthusiastically followed them. Cody was not interested, but he didn’t want to leave his little sister therefore, he forced himself to follow suit.
They went to the biggest mall in the city. Fritzi was familiar with all sorts of luxurious brands. She purchased everything she wanted.
Following the elders, Candace also bought a lot of things she found beautiful. Cody seldom cared about his outfits. He would wear whatever their Mom arranged for him. He thus went to check out the laptops and other electronic devices. When Fritzi went to pay, the clerk smiled at her, “Ma’am, you don’t need to pay us anymore. Someone has already paid your bills.”
Fritzi’s eyes lit up, “Really? Who paid my bills? Is it a woman or a man? If he is a man, is he handsome?”
Claire and Cristelle were both so speechless at how bold Fritzi was.
The clerk stuttered as she smiled awkwardly, “Well… It’s… It’s actually Miss White.”
Lana White?!
Fritzi deflated, “Oh… It’s her.”
Lana approached them suddenly, “Cristelle, it’s been a while.”
Candace hid behind Cristelle’s back the moment she saw Lana. She was so scared of this woman.
Candace didn’t meet Lana White too often, but kids always had sharp instincts when it came to telling if a person was good or bad.
Cristelle nodded politely, but her eyes were filled with resentment.
Lana smiled, “Why are you so silent today, Cristelle? I’m gonna get married. Why don’t you congratulate me?”
Cristelle smiled back, “I hope you will be very happy and content for the rest of your life.”
Lana managed to contain that fake smile, “Thank you. I will.”
“Good,” Cristelle responded politely.
Lana stared at her leisurely, arms folded on her chest, “You seem to have a lot of time today. Why don’t we hang out and grab a drink?”
Cristelle shook her head, “It’s really nice of you to ask me out. But I really don’t have time for you.”
Lana was smiling, “Am I delusional, or you really do sound a bit hostile, Cristelle?”
Cristelle looked at her as if she was looking at an idiot. Had she already forgotten those nasty things she had done?
“Well, guess you’re quite busy today,” Lana sighed, “But make sure to come to my wedding, okay? I invited a lot of “old friends” of yours. I bet they all can’t wait to see you, Cristelle.” Lana winked and clacked away, head tilting high.
Even an idiot could tell it was a threat.
Fritzi sneered, “What a psycho!”

When they went back to the villa, Drew and Linford were sitting on the couch and watching football on TV.
“Gosh! Did you buy the whole mall back?” Drew exclaimed on purpose.
Fritzi threw all her bags on the table, looking quite pissed, “We were enjoying our time together, and this massive piece of human garbage just jumped out of nowhere, ruining our mood. We didn’t even buy that much today.”
“Jesus! Are you genuinely calling all your shopping bags’ not that much? But… I’m curious. Who did you meet at the mall?”
Fritzi poured a glass of cold white wine for herself, “Who else could it be? Lana White, of course. That bitch said she wanted to buy us drinks, but she really said a lot of weird shit.”
“What did she say?”
“She said… Cristelle should go to her wedding because she invited a lot of ‘old friends’ of Cristelle’s. She was clearly trying to threaten Cristelle. Mr. Bradley, you should teach her a lesson!”
“Hm?” Linford looked up, “What do you want me to do?”
“PDA! Aggressive PDA during her wedding. That bitch would be burned by her jealousy when she sees that!”
“That is an absolutely stupid idea, Fritzi,” Linford sighed.
