Chapter 304: I Will Bring Them To See You Tomorrow

“If Pop has a lot of time, then I’ll be a bit busy later,” Cody snapped coldly, “Could you please go back to him now?”
“Yeah! We’re not going!” Candace sounded determined.
“How could you not have time for your great-grandfather? He really, really misses you both,” Jack didn’t give up, trying his best to persuade the twins.
Candace shook her head seriously, “No, Jack. We’re not going.” The little girl knew Pop set their Mom and Dad apart because of Lana White. She didn’t want to see him anymore.
Jack sighed and walked away.

Meanwhile, in White’s, Lana was lying on the couch and scrolling her phone. Mrs. White was sitting next to her, reading a book.
“Granny, when will Cristelle leave this city?” Lana expressed her peeve.
Mrs. White didn’t even bother to look up from her book, “I don’t think that woman will ever leave.”
Lana sat up immediately, her eyes widened in shock, “Wh-Why? Why wouldn’t she leave? Did they change their plan?”
Mrs. White pushed her glasses, “They might brew a new plan. Or Linford wouldn’t have agreed on everything we discussed earlier.”
“What do we do now, Granny? You need to help me. I don’t want to see that woman’s face anymore.” Lana begged.
Mrs. White put down the book with a serious look on her face, “After getting married to Linford, you will be the one and only Mrs. Bradley. No one can ever take your name away.”
Lana looked angry, “So, I’m just gonna sit back and watch when Linford cheats on me with that whore?”
Mrs. White sighed, “We can’t always get what we want, Lana. After becoming Mrs. Bradley, Cristelle Friesley is no longer an issue.”
“But she has two babies with Linford. She will find out some way to harass Linford in the future. I don’t want to see her face!” Lana was getting angry.
“Things will get even trickier if you can’t see her. You can only be unthreatened when you have her under your watch. If Linford refuses to make any more compromises, what are you gonna do?” Mrs. White threw a question to her.
Getting Lana into Bradley’s House was only step one. She had the following plans, but none of them would work out if they couldn’t achieve the first step.
Linford was stubborn. Mrs. White meant to break him little by little. But Lana only wanted Linford for her own. She couldn’t see the bigger picture ahead.
“How could I ignore her?! She also has two babies!”
Another thing, Franco absolutely adored those little bastards.
Mrs. White shook her head, “I know she has babies. But you also have one. Your baby has our house’s support. What are you so afraid of?”
Why was this granddaughter of hers so dumb?
Lana’s heart sunk into her chest horribly. Granny only cared about the power and reputation of the White House.
She didn’t care if her granddaughter was gonna be happy. If Lana wanted something, she must try to get it by herself.
She couldn’t let that whore cling to Linford anymore.

Linford drove to his mansion directly. Getting divorced from Cristelle was a lie. He lied to buy more time.
Cristelle was sitting in her bedroom alone. Compared with that small apartment, this big mansion of Linford’s felt more like a cage. She barely saw anyone all day.
The maids came in and sent her food. But they seldom exchanged any words with each other.
Cristelle also couldn’t hear anything about her babies. It drove her crazy.
The creaking of the door brought her to look up.
She dropped her gaze disappointedly as she noticed that it was Linford. The way she looked away made Linford sad.
But he didn’t let his emotions appear on his face. He walked over and asked, “You’re feeling sick?”
Cristelle shook her head, “I’m fine.”
Linford brought some meds for her, putting them on the nightstand before pouring her a cup of water, “You need to take care of yourself, Cristelle. No one will take care of our babies if you get sick.”
Cristelle clenched her teeth, keeping silent.
“I’m bringing them here tomorrow. If you’re not ready to see them yet, we can still change the time,” Linford gently smiled.
“Really?” Cristelle’s eyes widened.
“Why should I lie?” Linford sat beside her bed, smiling at her.
She grabbed the pills on the nightstand and put them in her mouth immediately.
Linford felt much at ease after she took her pills, “You won’t leave this city, and the babies will always be with you.”
Cristelle looked at him and then lowered her gaze, “I think I should leave sooner.”
She didn’t want to stay here with those horrible people anymore. The ideal situation was that she could leave with the babies. So they could go to a new place and start a new life.
“What should I do if you leave?” Linford suddenly asked, “Have you ever thought about me?”
Cristelle looked away silently.
She knew Linford shouldn’t be her concern anymore. She was about to marry another woman soon.
“You only have two choices, Cristelle,” Linford’s tone grew cold, “Leave this city by yourself or stay with our babies. What is your choice?”
How could she ever bear being apart from her babies?
“I don’t care what is happening recently,” Cristelle uttered seriously, “I only want to be with Candace and Cody.”
Linford nodded, “Okay. I will bring them to see you tomorrow.”
Cristelle’s eyes lit up.
Would she finally be able to see her babies tomorrow?

Lana’s henchman came back quite soon, “Miss, that woman is not at that address you gave us anymore.”
“Where did she go then?” Lana breathed sharply.
“I… I haven’t found out yet, Miss.”
That whore must have been transferred to another place by Pop. Linford probably knew where she was.
Lana put a hand on her belly. The look in her eyes was murderous, “I need you to find her immediately.”
“Yes, Miss.”

Linford drove to Cody and Candace’s place early the next morning. He told the babies that he was gonna take them to see their Mom.
But the babies were quite alert, doubtful that he would really take them to see Cristelle.
The twins only got in his car after knowing that Claire would go with them.
Cody only let his guard down when he saw his aunt.
They went to Linford’s mansion.
Cristelle was sitting in the parlor alone. She instantly stood up from the couch when she heard the door knock.
“Mommy!”
“Cristelle!”
Three voices sounded in unison.
