Linford hated it. Before he could say anything, a phone call suddenly came in. It was from Drew.
“What’s wrong?”
“Linford… I just found something serious. Cindy has a twin sister called Giselle… They didn’t grow up together, and Giselle has committed crimes and was thrown in jail multiple times. She always drugs her sister and goes to teach Candace instead.”
Linford instantly went to Cristelle before Drew could finish, stopping her from getting in the ambulance, “You can’t leave now. Candace is…”
“Stop using Candace as an excuse!” Cristelle pulled away, glaring at him, “Didn’t you see what happened to Jasper? Are you happy now?”
Linford stared at her coldly, “What? So he’s even more important than Candace to you?”
“STOP using the babies as your excuse!” Cristelle snapped, “I don’t care what happened! I don’t have time for your drama!”
Jasper’s eyes were cold as he looked at Cristelle, trying hard to suppress a laugh, “Cristelle, maybe you should…”
“Stop saying anything, Jasper. Let’s go,” the way Cristelle talked to Jasper was so gentle, and that broke his heart. She went into the car and slammed the doors shut.
“Hello? Hello?! Linford, are you still there?” Drew yelled on the phone, “I just called Pop. He’s also on his way back. We must catch this Giselle today, no matter what she is gonna do! She could hurt the baby.”
The veins on Linford’s temples showed, “I’m also going.” With that, he jumped in his car.
“Don’t tell anyone what happened today.” Staring out of the window, Linford warned coldly.
“Of course,” Alfred instantly obeyed.
Mr. Bradley was still worried about Cristelle at the moment like this. If those journalists got this on paper, Cristelle would be at the center of the scandal again. And she would suffer so much humiliation.

Meanwhile, in Franco’s place.
Candace was having her dance class in the dance room right now. She was told to practice splits today. She didn’t know why but Cindy tended to tell her to review what she had taught her from the previous lesson. But she didn’t dare to question any decision Cindy made. She could only listen to what Cindy said, or she would get punished.

Franco had gone to Mr. Weston’s place to have tea with Peter. Franco even stayed for lunch. When he received the call from Drew, Drew told him everything about Cindy had her evil twin sister. Franco shot up from the chair immediately and got in his car, “Jack! Hurry! We need to head back now!”
Peter ran out of the house first, riding his motorbike.

In the classroom, Giselle had led Candace toward a chest. That chest was used to put on their clothes and shoes when they got changed.
“Do the split here,” Giselle told the girl harshly with a cold sneer on her face. Someone had paid her before to make this little mute a cripple. Giselle also knew this girl was innocent, but she really wanted the money.
Candace listened to what Giselle said and did a split, holding her hands up before looking at Giselle.
Was this okay?
“Good,” Giselle smiled coldly and pushed the chest down. The chest fell off, and Candace started to scream.
A tall figure dashed over and covered Candace with his body. It was Peter.
Peter had already tried to save the girl at his full speed, but he was still late. The edge of the chest still hit Candace’s leg.
“Mom!! Mom!!” Candace started to scream, her face covered in tears.
Franco happened to show up at the door of the dance room at the moment. His eyes were bloodshot as he pointed the finger at Giselle, yelling, “Get her! Get that witch right now!”
His bodyguards dashed forward.

Two cars arrived at Franco’s almost at the same time. Linford and Drew got out of their cars immediately. Before Linford could walk through the door, he heard Candace sobbing from at the gate. His heart sunk horribly into his stomach.
“Candace! Candace!” He ran into the dance room.
Giselle had been caught. But Candace’s leg was so swollen. It was bleeding and dangling at this point. The girl was crying her eyes out, “Mom! Mom!”
“Daddy’s here. It’s okay, Honey. It’s okay.” Linford went to carry the little girl in his arms.
Drew went to check the baby out, “Serious fractures. We need to send her to the hospital right now. Just… Get yourself prepared for the result. I think she probably won’t keep her leg.”
Franco almost fainted as he heard what Drew said, “What are you waiting for? Send her to the hospital! Now!”
Linford carried his daughter to the car.
Candace was crying for her Mom in the car, and it almost broke Linford’s heart. They went to the hospital in time and gave his daughter to the best doctor in the hospital. Candace was sent to the operation room soon, and the operation took almost 10 hours. Linford waited outside of the room the whole night, barely shutting his eyes.
Luckily, the doctors finally managed to keep the girl’s leg. Linford and Drew felt relieved. Franco and Mr. Weston got to the hospital only a couple of minutes later than them. After knowing that Candace was finally saved, the two old men felt so relieved that they almost fainted.
Drew prepared them two private rooms so they could take some rest.
“Where’s Cristelle? I didn’t even see her during the operation.” Drew asked curiously. Linford was so furious at the mention of that woman. He clenched his fist and walked away.
Drew was so confused. He didn’t know why Linford seemed to be so annoyed when he mentioned Cristelle. He thought Linford loved Cristelle.
Were they having a fight again?
“Geez… I’m so worn out and scared. Is Candace okay?” Fritzi brought Candace’s favorite snacks the next morning as her breakfast. Linford had sent her out yesterday to take care of the media press. She hadn’t even known what had happened to the little girl before Alfred suddenly called her this morning. After getting to know what had happened, she came to the hospital immediately.
“I just wish Cristelle wouldn’t hear this sudden bad news. She would be so heartbroken.” Fritzi sighed after checking out the baby.
