Charles sighed, “It’s not personal, Mr. Wayne. This is the warrant from the court. Please cooperate with us, or we won’t be this polite soon.”
His men dragged Zoe out directly.
“Zoe!” Mrs. Wayne screamed and fainted.
Tim was trying to call his father, but his father didn’t pick up the phone. So many things had happened to Wayne’s house lately.
Zoe was so fucking stupid! Why couldn’t she just be a normal person and stay away from Linford Bradley?!
Why did she have to sabotage the whole family?

In Franco’s yard, Mr. Wayne, the lead of the Wayne house, was enjoying afternoon tea with Pop.
“I know this might be a bit too much… I’ll try to talk to Linford,” Franco sighed.
Mr. Wayne was old and wise. He simply put down his cup of tea when he heard that, “Linford did the right thing. If someone wants to kill my wife and son, I’ll be just like Linford. Linford has already been generous enough to inform me beforehand. I won’t protect those stupid children of mine. They’re adults. They need to be responsible for their deeds.”
Mr. Wayne had always been an honest person. He always meant what he said.
Franco was thus less worried.
His great-grandchildren almost got killed by a snake. Cristelle was almost dead. He refused to let the murderer get away with what she did.
“Come to think of it, Linford is the only child who accomplished something in that generation. My house is filled with useless things. It seems like the glory of our house won’t last that long.” Mr. Wayne sighed.
He regretted letting his sons and grandsons take over the family business so soon.
“They will find their own luck, old friend. You don’t need to worry about that,” Franco tried to make him feel better.
Mr. Wayne nodded slightly, “I hope so.”
Zoe was brought straight to the interrogation room. Clara had completely ignored her. It was obvious that Clara only wanted to protect herself. She wouldn’t get involved with her anymore. But Clara was the only hope she left.
After 24 hours of interrogation, Zoe was thrown into jail with solid evidence. The Wayne house was a mess after they got to know that Zoe would be sentenced to murder. The reports about Zoe were everywhere on the internet.
Mrs. Wayne had decided to let Zoe take responsibility for what she had done. Mrs. Wayne was almost sent to the hospital again.
Zoe was Mrs. Wayne’s first granddaughter. Her deceased father was Mrs. Wayne’s firstborn. Mrs. Wayne thus spoiled her when she was just a little girl.
Now that Zoe ended up in jail, none of her “friends” decided to stand out and help her. Even the bestie she thought she had, Clara Bradley, also disappeared.
The Wayne house wanted to find Clara. They wanted to beg for mercy from Linford through Clara. But Clara was nowhere to find. They were so anxious and devastated.

“I need to see Clara! Now!” Zoe screamed at the police, “I must see her! I have something really important to tell her!”
The police officers took her words as a joke. Why would Clara ever see this mad woman? She was a Bradley wife.
Linford somehow got the information that Zoe insisted on seeing Clara in jail. He called Charles, telling him to fulfill Zoe’s requirement. Everyone in this city knew Zoe and Clara were friends. Clara probably wanted to steer clear of the trouble, but things wouldn’t be that easy.
Linford suspected that Clara was the mastermind of the whole thing. Charles was quick. He managed to let Clara see Zoe the next day.
“Why do you want to see me? This is your fault for doing those nasty things. There’s nothing I can do,” Clara was so sick and tired of this stupid bitch. Zoe had tried so many times to kill Cristelle, but she failed to make it every time. She was probably the dumbest person Clara had ever seen.
Zoe held Clara’s hand, begging, “Clara, I treat you as my best friend… We’ve known each other for so many years. You will definitely help me, won’t you? Just get me out of here!”
Clara pulled away in disgust, “Didn’t you hear my words clearly? You committed murder! They’ve got evidence! How am I gonna help you with that? There’s nothing I can do.”
“It’s not like that, Clara! You need to ask the Bradley family and beg them to let me go! Pop and my grandpa are friends. He will definitely let me go. Please, Clara… I don’t want to end up in jail.” Zoe was crying her eyes out.
Clara shot up from her seat, “If this is all you want to say, Zoe, I think it’s time for me to go!”
She’d been very clear. She would never help this dumb bitch and get herself involved.
Saying that, she prepared to walk out of the door. But Zoe couldn’t hold it back anymore, “Clara! I did everything… I did all that because of you! Are you really gonna leave me here and let me rot?! You’re not afraid that I stand out and make things really ugly for you?”
Zoe was threatening her to tell Linford everything.
Clara stopped and turned on her heels. She sat across Zoe again with a vicious cold smirk on her face. She was not that rich and well-mannered lady anymore, “Zoe, do you really expect those people to believe your shit? You’ve inflicted all those things on yourself. You can’t blame it on other people. If my grandma didn’t help your family, your family would be nothing. Just be grateful and sane for goddamn once in your life. Accept reality and enjoy your life in prison, you dumbass.”
With that, she stood up and left the room.
What did she mean? Zoe slumped on her chair. Clara was very clear. If Zoe dared to say anything, the White House would stop assisting the Wayne house. The Wayne house would go bankrupt directly.
They had been friends for 20 years. Zoe didn’t know Clara would be so vicious.
Zoe regretted everything she had done. She had inflicted this nightmare alone because she originally wanted to make Clara happy. Instead, she sacrificed her whole family because of this snake.
