Linford showed the man his phone, “Are these those people you’re talking about?”
“Yes… Yes!” The young man shivered while nodding incessantly.
He could see Mr. Bradley used that woman and her children as his wallpaper. That woman must be really special to Mr. Bradley. He could only blame himself for being so stupid and taking this job!
“Mr. Bradley… I… I really didn’t know that she was your wife. I wouldn’t dare if I knew the truth. Please! Please don’t kill me!” The man begged Linford.
Linford snapped coldly, “Which Wayne?”
“It’s Miss Zoe Wayne. Sarah is her maid.” The man spilled everything out.
“He can’t be lying. The Wayne house was framed. How do you wanna deal with them, Linford?” Yanni asked.
Linford cast those people a cold stare, “Lock them up. They should be of some use later.”
“You want to….” Yanni quickly understood Linford’s words.
“Yeah,” With that, Linford walked out of the house, ignoring the crying two people downright.
“Mr. Bradley! Please! I’m begging you! Please protect my family! Those people will hurt them once they notice that I’m gone.” One of the men howled, “I shouldn’t have taken the job because of the money… Please have mercy!”
THUD!
Linford slammed the door behind him. Yanni kicked the man away, “You have a family. Other people also have theirs! Have you ever thought how painful it would be for your victims when you took the money and decided to kill someone?”
Yanni’s eyes were filled with contempt. He followed Linford and left the room as well.

In the Wayne house, Zoe heard Cristelle was not in danger anymore. She almost fainted.
“Just one step away! Why just can’t this bitch die?!” Zoe was going crazy, “Sarah… I always have a bad feeling lately. I hope bad things won’t happen.”
Sarah had been Zoe’s maid for many years. She was combing Sarah’s hair as she said, “You don’t need to worry, Miss. We’ve got one of these men’s wife and son. He wouldn’t say anything even if he was caught. If he dares to spill anything out, we will kill his wife and son instantly.”
Zoe nodded, “Good. Tell the kitchen to prepare some of the best Foie gras tonight… I’m a bit hungry now.”
Sarah said yes and left.
The Wayne house was not like before. But none of the family members could abandon their luxurious lifestyles.
Zoe was the most luxurious one. She liked showing off before her friends. The Wayne family was almost kicked out of the list of the most powerful houses in the city. The White House helped them a bit. But Zoe still refused to change. She still lived like a princess every day.
Sarah went to the kitchen. When she came back, she and Zoe went out to a party.
However, after hanging out for a while, the maid just mysteriously disappeared.
Zoe felt danger was coming. She thus called Clara, “Clara… I don’t think it’s good. I think something bad is gonna happen.” Zoe whispered as she buried herself into her bed.
Clara had already gotten tired of her stupid friend, but she still asked, “What’s wrong, hon? Why are you saying this?”
“Sarah is gone!” Zoe couldn’t even breathe properly, “Remember Sarah? I sent her to buy that snake. She’s gone for a day now. She hasn’t come back yet… Did Linford Bradley get her?”
“Honey, don’t be silly. She’s probably handling some private issues now. You’re scaring yourself,” Clara only wanted to hang up the phone. She didn’t want to get involved with this stupid bitch.
“Hey! Clara… Don’t! You’ve got to help me if anything happens. You know I did that because of you!”
“Zoe, are you even listening to yourself? Could you not get me into this mess? You did those things because you’re jealous of Jasper and Cristelle. Don’t you fucking shift the blame on me!” Clara huffed and hung up the phone directly.
“But…” Zoe was utterly shocked. She didn’t expect Clara to be so cruel.
Sarah had gone missing, and she pretty much knew everything about her. If Linford Bradley caught her, Zoe knew she would be thoroughly doomed.
Her only hope was Clara now. But Clara didn’t even want to help her. In fact, Clara had abandoned her completely.
Wasn’t Clara afraid that she would tell Linford everything? Zoe was so scared that she stayed awake all night.
The following day, Officer Charles showed up before the Wayne house, bringing a group of men. They came to arrest Zoe with a warrant.
“What… What are you doing?” The Wayne’s were having their breakfast. They were freaked out when they saw the police officer.
Officer Charles showed them the warrant calmly, “We’re here to arrest Zoe Wayne. Miss Wayne, please come with us.”
Zoe was shivering like a leaf in the wind. Mrs. Wayne screamed, “What warrant?! My girl is good! You can’t just arrest her!”
“Zoe Wayne is suspected of murdering Mr. Bradley’s wife and daughter. If you resist the capture, you’re standing up against the court,” Officer Charles announced coldly.
“Mur-murder?! How is it possible? It’s impossible! Zoe won’t even step on an ant. She’ll never try to kill someone! You guys must have got it wrong!” Mrs. Wayne just came back from the hospital. Her knees buckled as she heard the name Bradley.
Mr. Wayne and Tim were dumbfounded as they looked at Zoe in horror.
“Zoe, what the fuck have you done?!” Tim asked in horror.
“I… I didn’t! I really didn’t,” Zoe went into a panic.
“Sarah and the two men you hired have told the truth. You shouldn’t resist anymore, Miss Wayne. It will only get worse if you deny it.” Charles reminded her.
They’d got Sarah?! Sarah had been with her for many years. She knew everything Zoe had ever done.
If Sarah really told them everything, then…
Zoe’s knees got weak as she slumped in her chair.
Charles knew they didn’t get the wrong person after seeing Zoe’s reaction, “Take her.”
His men went forth and got Zoe. Zoe was shrilling, “Stay away from me! Don’t you dare touch me!”
“Do you even know what you’re doing?!” Tim went forth, shielding Zoe from the police, “This is the Wayne house! You can’t do that to her!”
