Clara pretended to be concerned, “This is all my fault. I was there with her. I should’ve stopped her.”
“It’s not your fault. That woman’s just stupid and messing around,” Darwin cast a disgusted glance as he said, “We should use a more effective way to throw that woman from Linford.”
Hearing that, Clara and Tanya exchanged a look, knowing their plan was gonna work out.
“Darwin, do you want to think about it first? Jack said that your father had the intention to make Cristelle marry Linford. If you say anything, father will probably be unhappy,” Tanya tried to piss Darwin off even worse.
Darwin looked like he was gonna explode, “Father really said that?”
Tanya looked a bit hesitant, “Yeah. You can ask Jack too.”
This was pure humiliation now. They didn’t even treat him as part of the Bradley family, or they would have discussed this with him first before making any decision.
Darwin stood up from his seat, throwing his hat away, “Tell my father now that if Linford’s gonna marry that woman, I will be leaving this family!”
With that, he walked away in a rage.
Tanya followed. A gleam shot across Clara’s eyes as an idea was generated.

Today was Saturday. Cristelle had the plan to go to the Watson house with the babies. However, the plan didn’t involve Linford.
Candace went back to her room to get changed as soon as she heard that she was gonna meet her best friend later. And then she asked her Mom to make her hair pretty.
Cody was in jeans, looking cool and cute.
Linford came in, asking, “Where are you guys going?”
“We’re going to visit Amy and Thomas’ Mom. I promised her a couple of days ago,” Cristelle said randomly.
She guessed Linford probably wouldn’t want to go. So she didn’t even bother to ask him.
The babies minded their own business, not noticing the look on Linford’s face.
Cody and Candace got in the car, carrying gifts for Amy and Thomas. Cristelle went to drive, “See you this evening.”
Linford was so pissed off. This woman was the only person in the world who dared to stir him so mad.
Alfred went to ask, “Sir, should we follow them?”
“Why? They didn’t even bother to invite us. Why should we follow?” Linford snapped, slumping on his couch.
Cristelle and her children arrived at Watson’s home 20 minutes later. The babies were excited to see each other.
Mrs. Watson was in an apron, smiling widely as she poured them freshly squeezed juice.
“Please come in. Do you guys want to have some pizza?” Mrs. Watson offered the children.
Cristelle put down the gifts, “Pizza sounds amazing. Candace and Cody love pizza.”
“Good,” Mrs. Watson introduced herself, “I know you’re Cristelle. You can call me Helena.”
“Of course,” Cristelle smiled, “I haven’t seen Mr. Watson, Helena.”
“Oh, he’s still on a business trip. He hasn’t come back yet,” Helena served some fruit to them.
They had a bit of chat, and Cristelle finally felt it was time to ask Helena the thing she wanted to know the most, “Helena, I have something to ask you. I wonder if you feel comfortable answering my question.”
Helena had already guessed the purpose of Cristelle coming here today, “What do you want to know? I’ll tell you if I know the answer.”
“Remember Selena? Do you know how to contact her?” Cristelle asked directly.
Helena shook her head, “I don’t really know how to get to her. I only know she’s with my brother now. And I don’t know much else about her.”
“Your brother?” Cristelle frowned a bit.
“Yeah, my biggest brother in the family. His name is Frank. He’s a doctor. Frank’s quite busy, and now he’s in Africa. Selena is probably with him right now,” Helena casually blurted out the information she knew.
Africa?
Cristelle knew she couldn’t get there for now, “But why is he going there?”
“Oh… He got patients there. He and Selena left last night,” Helena went to grab Cristelle’s hand, “I don’t know why you want to find this, Selena. But I can tell you’re worried about her a lot. Frank is a decent guy. She’ll be safe with him around. You don’t need to worry, Cristelle.”
Cristelle was lost for words after a while. She finally knew where her sister was, but her sister was still far from her. She wondered when she could see Claire.
Cristelle did hear a lot about Frank Watson before. He was a genius doctor and a real gentleman. He had received countless awards at a young age.
With him around, Claire should be safe.
“Helena, could you please update me on their situation in Africa? Please. Selena is so important to me.” Cristelle asked genuinely.
“Of course,” Helena answered without any hesitation, “I’ll tell you if anything happens to them.”
Cristelle seemed to be a nice woman. Besides, she was Linford’s wife. It would do good for their family and the whole house well if they could be friends with her.
“Thank you so much,” Cristelle was grateful.
When Thomas walked out of the playroom, he found Cody had been standing there for a while. The boy had been listening to their Moms’ conversation all this time.
“Shush…” Cody pressed a finger against Thomas’ lips, telling his best friend to keep it quiet. Thomas nodded obediently.
So… Mom had been looking for this woman called Selena? Cody silently asked himself.
He could guess the reason why his Mom probably had run barefoot in the hotel last night. Who was that woman his Mom was running after? But who was this Selena, either? Cody didn’t remember his Mom had ever mentioned that name to them.
Cody’s doubts had never been solved.
They had a great meal that afternoon. After that, Cristelle took the babies and left Watson’s house.
Linford was sitting in the living room alone when they pushed open the door. Candace dashed toward him and gave him a big hug.
“You had a nice day, sweet one?” Linford was raining tiny kisses on his daughter’s cheeks.
Candace nodded happily. She did have a great day today. Cody looked at him quietly. He had a feeling that this man probably knew what Mom was doing right now. But the boy still didn’t say anything after thinking for a second.
