Yanni laughed, not seeming to care at Linford’s words.
Candace liked Yanni too. She was glad to see Doctor Yanni was here, quickly extending her tiny arms and giving him a hug.
“Good girl. Do you want to see a magic trick?” Saying that, he used the napkin on the table to make a rabbit for her.
It was so cute.
Candace was thrilled, showing her little rabbit to Linford.
Linford smiled at his daughter.
Yanni made another one for Cody. Cody shook his head coolly, “Thank you, Doc. But I don’t like rabbits.”
“Huh? What do you like then? I can make all sorts of things with napkins,” Yanni smiled at the boy.
Cody shook his head, “It’s okay, Doc. I’m good.”
Yanni clacked his tongue as he leaned toward Linford, whispering, “Cody’s gonna be exactly like you when he grows up. This little devil seems to have copied your personality.”
Linford glared at Yanni, whispering back to his best friend, “Shut up if you still want your tongue to be intact!”
Yanni shuddered, giving Linford a horrible look, “Morbid! I’m your doctor, how could you treat me like this?”
Linford cast him another threatening stare that forced Yanni to zip his mouth.

Fritzi also came later in a beautiful black dress, sitting beside Cristelle, “Can I sit here, Mr. Bradley?”
Linford nodded and uttered in a resentful tone, “Of course. Suit yourself.”
This woman was usually quite smart. Why couldn’t she see that he only wanted some time alone with his wife tonight? He was trying to hide his anger towards Yanni and Fritzi tonight. These two are deliberately disturbing them.
After a while, Candace’s eyes suddenly diverted to the entrance, waving her little hand toward a direction. Linford’s eyes flew in the direction her daughter was waving her hand, and he saw Amy and Thomas coming. They came here with their parents tonight. But their table was a bit far away from theirs.
Candace was excited as she pulled at Cody’s hand. Cody nodded, “I saw them. We can go find them after the auction.”
They had to wait for the event to finish. Candace was a bit disappointed, but she still nodded.
Linford noticed that, so he turned toward Alfred, “Go bring the little boy and the little girl here.”
Alfred nodded and left. A couple of minutes later, Amy and Thomas both showed up at their table. Candace was thrilled as she let Amy sit beside her. Thomas, on the other hand, sat beside Cody. The distance between Linford and Cristelle was thus getting far.
Linford frowned. He suddenly got a bit regretful about his decision.
People from other tables looked in Amy and Thomas’ direction with so much envy. They regretted not teaching their babies to get along with the Bradley babies. If their children were friends of Linford Bradley’s children, they would get so much help from Daicom Corporation.
Candace shared her snacks with Amy and Thomas.
A few moments later, she jumped down from her chair, standing before Yanni, looking cute as she silently begged Yanni to teach them how to make little bunnies with napkins.
Yanni smiled, and he was immersed into the children’s little world, patiently teaching them how to make different cute animals made with napkins.
Amy was the first one who learned how to do it. Candace clapped for her best friend. Amy was so smart to learn new things smoothly.
Amy cast a shy look at Cody, but Cody failed to notice that. He was talking to Thomas.
Cristelle almost laughed as she noticed little Amy’s admiration for her son. These kids were so cute.
“Cody’s quite popular among the girls, huh?” Fritzi nudged Cristelle. Cristelle lowered her gaze and smiled.
Linford suddenly walked over, “Cristelle, you need to eat something. The auction is quite long.”
“Geez, so gentle,” Fritzi exclaimed enviously as she rose up from her seat, “Mr. Bradley, you should take my seat. I’ll sit in your seat because I still need to take pictures for our company. That place has the best angles.”
“Oh, okay,” Linford sat down on Fritzi’s seat happily as Fritzi stood up.
Cristelle rolled her eyes. Could these people be more obvious?
Linford shifted in his seat and picked some food for Cristelle. Cristelle didn’t want to eat, but other people were still watching them. She could only eat something to show them that she obeyed Linford.
Linford smiled at her, raising his hand to tuck in a few strayed hair behind her ear gently as if he had done it a million times.
Cristelle went blushed as she heard a murmur of conversation erupt behind her back.
What was this man doing? This was so embarrassing!
Linford didn’t bother to pay attention to them. Instead, he acted like a sweet husband, showing his public display of affection and smiling inwardly. Other observers held all the things he had just done.
“It’s true love indeed. I just didn’t expect him to be this sweet and caring. Unfortunately, someone had stolen his heart.”
“That woman looks beautiful, though. She’s beautiful, and she has a perfect husband. Life is unfair, indeed.”
“Yeah. Do you notice how much attention Linford Bradley’s paid to her since they stepped into the hall? She’s so lucky.”
Cristelle clearly heard those conversations behind them.
“Look at that whore! She must feel so good about herself right now,” Zoe gritted her teeth. She hated Cristelle Friesley so much after she failed to humiliate her!
Clara was arranged at another table. She’d been secretly pissed off by seeing how affectionately Linford was staring at Cristelle. She shook her head at Zoe, “Shush, stop saying anything about her. She’s in her prime right now. I heard Pop even mentioned that they should hold a wedding as soon as possible.”
“What?” Zoe’s mouth fell open, “Are you serious?”
Clara’s heart was bleeding, but she still needed to hide her pain. But the vicious resentment in her eyes was hard to disguise, “It’s true. Pop has sent his trusted man to Linford to ask about when they would hold their wedding day.”
“Is Pop out of his mind?” Zoe couldn’t hide her anger and couldn’t stop her mouth, “How could a woman like that be accepted as Linford Bradley’s wife?”
