Things might seem like usual, but she knew the Barnett house was slowly falling.
Pamela blamed all the humiliation she had endured on Cristelle.
She had found out that the two recent business trips Diego went on had something to do with Cristelle.
That bitch must be thrown out of this city soon. Pamela thought resentfully. And this time, she should fulfill her plan smoothly!
Franco soon got to know that Darwin had gone to find Cristelle.
“Darwin is such a fool! It’s Linford’s marriage, not his! What made him think he should interfere with his son’s life?” The old Bradley ranted in rage.
Jack could only try to ease his anger, “Darwin probably cares about Linford’s reputation. That’s why he got a bit confused.”
“Confused? Bring him here. I’d like to see if he can still think straight or not!” Old Bradley wanted to discuss things face-to-face with his son Darwin, and he would probably remind his limitations and stay out of Linford’s business.
Jack shook his head, “Darwin went to the camp last night. I’m afraid you can’t see him soon, sir.”
Franco is pacing back and forth inside his room, “Cristelle doesn’t even have any security and no title as Linford’s wife. It doesn’t look well. The babies are also bullied because of this reason. We should make them get married as soon as possible. Go to the company and bring Linford back here. I wanted to ask my grandson when he will be holding their wedding. The more he delays their wedding, the more Cristelle and the children are humiliated. I’d like to attend his wedding before my last breath.”
Jack just smiled and obediently followed the old Bradley’s order, going to Linford’s company immediately.
Linford was in his office when Jack came to visit. Jack told Linford the old Bradley’s order.
A warm smile appeared on Linford’s handsome face, “Grandpa’s in such a hurry. Go back to him and tell him that I appreciate his concern, knowing he liked Cristelle so much to be my wife. But it’ll probably take a while before the wedding is held.”
“Linford, could you be a bit more specific? Your grandpa would be glad to know,” Jack was smiling.
“I’m afraid I can’t come up with a specific date yet,” Linford shook his head, “I still need to ask the babies.”
“The babies don’t like you to marry their mother?” Jack looked a bit surprised. He suddenly remembered how far Cody tried to stay away from Linford. It was quite funny, actually, that the young boy didn’t seem to like his father.
Linford pulled a straight face as he thought about his son, thinking how difficult it was to win his favor, “Just tell Pop what I told you. I’m sure he’ll understand that.”
“Sure, I’ll tell him your answer,” Jack nodded and left.

Alfred put an exquisitely wrapped box on Cristelle’s desk, “Cristelle, Mr. Bradley asked you to be his date at the charity party tonight.”
Cristelle turned him down without a second thought, “I’ll be busy tonight.”
“Mr. Bradley said the babies will be there too,” Alfred was standing before her, calmly blurting out his boss’s order.
Cristelle thought she heard it wrong, “What- The babies? What was he thinking?”
“Hon, you should go. Cody and Candace will need you,” Fritzi approached Cristelle with a cup of coffee in her hand.
Cristelle shook her head, “They’re still too young to participate in this kind of event. So why should they go there at all?”
Alfred smiled, patiently explaining, “Sir Linford said you will know the reason if you come with him tonight.”
Cristelle faltered and frowned.
She suddenly guessed Linford’s intention. He was trying to tell the whole world that the babies were his children. This clearly warns everyone not to create any negative issues against his children if they want to live a peaceful life. She could see how Linford showed his power in this city.
Cristelle thought for a while and nodded, “Fine. I’ll go with him.”
Fritzi brought two tiny, elegant dresses and brandished them before Cristelle’s eyes, “See? I got them made a long time ago for Candace and Cody to wear on such occasions. They could finally be useful tonight.”
Cristelle smiled, shaking her head at Fritzi and uttering her thanks while accepting Fritzi’s gift.
Cody and Candace got changed. Fritzi walked toward them, screaming, “So cute!”
Cody was wearing a sharp blue suit, and Candace was in a white dress. They both looked adorable.
“Guys, you should thank Fritzi. She made these clothes, especially for you guys,” Cristelle was happy, urging her children to say words of appreciation to Fritzi.
Candace left a kiss on Fritzi’s cheek. She loved her dress so much.
Cody went to give Fritzi a hug, “Thank you so much, Fritzi.”
And then, the boy turned to his mother, “Why do we have to wear this, Mom?”
Cristelle explained, “We’ll need to go to a charity party later on. There’ll be a lot of tasty food.”
Food! Candace’s eyes lit up. Cody arched an eyebrow. He didn’t think things would be that simple.
“Alright, it’s time for your Mom to get dressed. It would help if you guys wait here,” Fritzi pushed Cristelle into the changing room.
Cody was sitting on the couch with his little sister, one arm draping on Candace’s shoulder protectively. Fritzi was gonna cry. They looked so cute!
Cristelle walked out of the changing room soon. She was also wearing a white dress like her daughter, showing her beautiful curves. The dress accentuated her delicate collarbones and long neck. She looked like a beautiful swan.
Mommy’s so beautiful! Candace admired her Mom through her head.
Candace jumped off the couch and held Cristelle’s legs, smiling adorably at her.
Cody also came forward, uttering sweet words, “Mom’s the most beautiful woman in the world.”
Cristelle laughed, pulling them in, “You guys are also the most beautiful babies in this world.”
“Guys! Look at the camera!” Fritzi said and caught the perfect moment on her camera.
Linford suddenly walked in. He was wearing a sharp blue suit and looking incredibly handsome as always. When he stood there, everyone’s attention was on him.
