Chapter 213
Meanwhile, Lisa is seen outside Alfred’s ward speaking to Dina on the phone.
“I’m so sorry I left without telling you. Alfred was shot and I had to come to see him” Lisa said and Dina sighed softly
“It’s fine, you shouldn’t apologize. I’m glad you are with him and he’s okay” Dina said in a sad tone. Lisa then noticed from her voice that she sounded sad.
“Is everything alright Dina? Have you told Williams the truth? Have you guys sorted things out?” Lisa asked concerned.
“Well, he found out before I told him and he broke up with me, ” Dina said
“Oh my goodness!! I’m so sorry Dina. Do you want me to talk to him for you? I can do that if you want” Lisa said
“No, it’s fine. I’m serious, I’m okay. Besides, Richard is back in prison now, so I’m okay” Dina said
“What about the pregnancy?” Lisa asked
” I’ll just have to keep the baby. I can’t kill an innocent child because of what happened ” Dina said and Lisa sighed softly
“I’m sure Williams is going to come around, I know how much he loves you, he will come around, ” Lisa said
“I hope so. I need to go now. I heard someone is looking for me outside the restaurant. I’ll talk to you later” Dina said and with that, she ended the call.
Lisa sighed softly. She felt so bad for Dina. She must be going through a lot right now. She wished she was there to console her. She just hopes Williams and her both sort things out so they can be happy.
“Hey Lisa” Rhoda called her from behind and she turned, surprised to see her. She was holding her fancy handbag.
“Hey, you leaving?” Lisa asked
“Yeah, I’m going back home,” She said and smiled
“Oh!!, I wasn’t expecting you to leave so soon. I thought maybe you would wait till he’s discharged” Lisa said and Rhoda smiled.
“I wish I can wait but I have important matters to attend to and I do not want to miss my flight,” Rhoda said and Lisa nodded.
“Daniel told me you were the one that brought Alfred to the hospital. You saved his life. Thank you” Lisa said and Rhoda felt her heart melt.
“Oh, it’s nothing. If it were to be me Alfred would have done the same thing” Rhoda said and Lisa smiled.
“Alfred loves you a lot. I can see how happy he is with you. The truth is I came back here because of Alfred. I haven’t been able to let go of the feelings I had for him. I thought maybe I would have another chance with him.
I didn’t know he has someone else already and I’m glad it’s you. I’m happy he’s happy. Please take care of him and never leave his side no matter what. You are the only one he’s got now” Rhoda said and Lisa smiled.
She pulled Lisa into a brief hug and smiled at her, and with that, she left. Lisa sighed softly and walked back into Alfred’s ward.

Meanwhile, Dina is seen walking out of her office. One of the workers had told her someone was asking after her outside, so she decided to go check who it was and to her surprise, she saw Williams.
“Williams” she called surprised to see him. She wasn’t expecting him.
“Hey” Williams muttered as he moved towards Dina who managed to smile at her.
“I’m so sorry for overreacting Dina. I felt jealous and angry. I hated the fact that you didn’t tell me about what was happy despite the fact you promised no secret in our relationship.
I’m so sorry I wasn’t there to protect you when Richard forced himself on you. I’m so sorry.
I’m so sorry. Please, give me a second chance so we can start all over” Williams said and Dina stared at him speechlessly.
“If it’s about the baby, we gonna do a DNA test. Even if the baby is mine or not, I’ll always be the father to the kid. Please let’s start all over again ” Williams said and Dina stared at him with years pouring out of her eyes. She was more than speechless. She didn’t know what to say at the moment.
“I’m sorry too, I should have told you ” Dina cried and Williams wiped her tears.
“Shhhh! You’ve been through a lot with your daughter, Clara. Our Daughter. You deserve to be happy. I promise, I’m going to protect you from today” Williams said and Dina nodded and sniffed.
Just then Williams did the unexpected, he brought out a ring from his pocket and went on his knees. Dina opened her eyes wide in surprise.
“Oh my goodness!! Williams!” she called speechlessly.
“I know I’m not good at words but Dina would you do me the honor of becoming my wife?” William asked as he stretched the ring towards Dina.
“Yes, yes, yes, yes” Dina yelled and Williams slid the ring inside her fingers. He stood up from his knees and kissed her. He pulled away from the kiss and hugged her so right.
They were so lost in what they were doing that they barely noticed people who were taking photos and videos of them.
Two days later.
Dina is seen in her office pacing to and fro, waiting for Williams to come. The DNA test results were out and she was so scared to open it.
So, she called Williams to come to open it for her. Just then the door to her office burst open revealing Williams.
“Honey..” Williams called as he moved towards Dina and hugged her. He noticed she was looking so scared. She didn’t want the baby to be that of Richard.
“Hey, calm down. Whatever this test result says I’ll accept it. Even though the baby is mine or not. My feelings for you will remain and I’m going to love the child as my own when it’s born” Williams said and Dina nodded.
She picked up the envelope from the table and unsealed it. She stared at Williams who nodded at her before opening the paper.
She then stared at Williams as tears gathered in her eyes.
“What does the result say?” Williams asked but Dina kept him quiet, tears slipping down her cheeks.
Williams took the paper from her and stared at it.
“The baby is mine!!” he yelled and Dina nodded with tears in her eyes.
“Oh my god! I’m so happy ” Williams yelled as he pulled Dina into a tight hug.
