Chapter 192
hoping and waiting one day you two would be together. Happy and all but eventually you find out you will and can never be together because you and the person are twins.
Tears slipped down Daniel’s cheeks. He just couldn’t believe everything that was happening. Right now all he needed was someone to be with. someone to cry on his or her shoulder.
He doesn’t have anyone. He remembered those times when he used to feel down, he would run to Lisa and just the sight of her would make him feel better. Recently when he had issues with Lisa he would run to Mrs. Rebecca who happened to be his mother and he would console him.

All these people were his family. FAMILY!!!! And he didn’t know about it. He had just one person he could call. Alfred.
He picked up his phone and dialed Alfred’s number.
“Hello,” Alfred said as he answered the call. He didn’t know who had called him.
“A…Alfred” Daniel called out in a shaky voice. Alfred recognized the voice immediately, even in the dream he would always recognize that voice.
“Daniel” he called……..

Alfred is seen in his motel waiting for Daniel who said he was coming. He sounded so down on the phone, he was also surprised Daniel called him. He wondered if he had found out the truth.
Just then he heard a knock on the door. He rushed to the door and opened it and then he saw Daniel who was looking tired and stressed. His eyes were red and swollen like he’s been crying.
His clothes were filled with blood stains. “Oh my goodness!! Did you get into a fight? Why’s there blood on your clothes” Alfred said as he held him by his hands and helped him inside the room, locking the door beside him.
He turned to Daniel and then his eyes drifted to his hands which were bleeding.
“Daniel, what happened?” Alfred asked worriedly and Daniel stared at him without saying a word as tears streamed down his cheeks and just then he hugged Alfred, crying so hard on his shoulder.
It was then Alfred knew, he had already found out the truth and it made him this way.
“You’re gonna be fine,” Alfred said as he patted his back. Just then he pulled away from the hug and helped him sit on the bed.
“I’ll be back. I’ll go get first aid” Alfred said and Daniel nodded. Alfred walked out of the room, and a few minutes later he was back with First Aid.
He sat beside Daniel and cleaned the blood on his knuckles before tying it up with the bandage.
“Does it hurt?” Alfred asked about the wound on his knuckles.
“It’s not compared to the pain I feel in my heart,” Daniel said and Alfred raised his head and stared at him before letting go of his hands.
“Wanna talk about what happened?” Alfred asked and Alfred bent his head staring at his bandaged knuckles without saying a word.
Alfred sighed softly and packed everything inside the first Aid box before closing it up.
“If you need someone to talk to, I’m always here,” Alfred said as he stood up and carried the box. He put it on the table in the room. He walked inside the bathroom and washed his hands. After then he came out holding a hand towel, drying his hands.
He stood at the bathroom door staring at Daniel with pity in his eyes. Daniel raised his head and stared at him before he finally spoke.
“Lisa and I are twins,” Daniel said and then Alfred sighed. He stared at Alfred and noticed he wasn’t surprised.
“You knew?” Daniel asked
“Yeah,” Alfred said as he wiped his hand with the towel.
“Since when?” Daniel asked
“Since the day Lisa donated her blood for you,” Alfred said as he dropped the hand towel on the table and sat on the chair opposite Daniel.
“Lisa knew about it too?” Daniel asked
“Not really, I had told her recently. She had wanted to tell you about it but she was scared since you were still recovering it might cause a lot of damage to your health” Alfred said and Daniel nodded in response. Silence took over but just then Daniel spoke again.
“I have lived my entire life in lies. I can’t believe the woman I thought was my mother is not my mother and the girl who I had fallen In love with is my twin sister” Daniel laughed as he wiped the tears that were threatening to spill out.
Alfred stared at him, he could sense the pain and disappointment in his voice. He felt hurt and betrayed by his mother, Mrs. Bella.
“You know this world is fucked up!! I never got a chance to be with my family. What if Lisa and I had gotten married already? What if she were to be pregnant for me?” Daniel said with gritted teeth. Alfred could feel the anger in his voice.
“Daniel…….”
“She fucking lied to me and she calls herself my mother. She lied to me and she tells me she loves me. Who lies to people they love?” Daniel said, almost yelling. Alfred sighed softly and went to sit beside him.
“I know how hurt you must be feeling right now but you should forgive your mom. Whatever she did in the past I believed it was for the best” Alfred paused and put his hands on his shoulder.
“Everything happens for a reason, Daniel. Believe it or not. I believe if you were still with your biological parents the night you guys were ambushed, you would be dead by now.
Your biological father, Mr. Cranston, did terrible things to people including me and my family. They would have come after you, including me. I would have come after you too.
Lisa survived because she was strong and mostly because she was female. You know the time her uncle Damon had brought her. That first day I set my eyes on her I kind of fell in love. Imagine if it were a male like you, I wouldn’t waste any time pulling the trigger.
You were the reason Lisa had survived, you saved her when she almost killed herself by jumping off the bridge. Everything happens for a reason, Daniel. You should be grateful” Alfred said and Daniel turned to him, staring at him in the eyes.
“If there’s another thing I know Mrs. Bella loves you like she would love her biological son. I saw her frustrated when you were at the hospital. You should see how she cried.
She was planning an arranged marriage for you and Lisa, it was not because of her interest, it was because of you. She couldn’t stand, with her hands folded when her son was unhappy. She was ready to do anything to make you happy, Daniel.
You should realize how lucky you are. You should think things over and go home, talk to Mrs. Bella before going to see your mom and twin who’s at the hospital ” Alfred smiled and stood up from the bed.
“I’m going to return the First Aid box. You should rest. If you need anything, just call me” Alfred said and with that, he carried the first aid box from the table and walked out of the room.
