Chapter 186
What did the doctor say was wrong with me?” Daisy asked and Mrs. Rebecca swallowed hard.
“You’re one week pregnant Daisy ” Mrs. Rebecca dropped the bombshell and Daisy opened her eyes wide in shock. She’s pregnant?
Oh my goodness!! This is my fault, when I slept with Daniel at the club I didn’t take any precautions. oh no!! And now I’m pregnant with Daniel’s child. How do I even tell him the pregnancy is his, she thought.
She remembered that day they had sex, she had told Daniel she took precautions so that she wouldn’t get pregnant.
If she tells him she had lied and was pregnant and she didn’t take any precautions that day, he would not believe her. She felt so scared and worried.
She should be happy she was pregnant with his child but the fact that she had told him she wouldn’t get pregnant and that she’d taken a drug to kill the sperm when she didn’t was heartbreaking. She sighed softly not knowing what to do. She felt so confused and scared.
Mrs. Rebecca who noticed the worried looks on her face sighed softly.
“Who is the owner of the pregnancy?” Mrs. Rebecca asked and Daisy swallowed hard.

After Lisa had left Daisy’s house, she didn’t know where else to go. She didn’t want to go home nor did she want to go back to the restaurant, she didn’t want to be alone either.
She picked up her phone and called Alfred.
“Lisa” Alfred’s voice sounded from the phone as he answered the call.
“Are you busy with work?” Lisa asked, trying to hide the fact that she’s been crying but Alfred noticed from the sound of her voice that she wasn’t all right.
“No, is everything alright? You wanna come over to the hotel?” Alfred asked
“Yes,” Lisa sniffed.
“Alright, I’ll send you the address immediately, ” Alfred said as he ended the call.
Whatever Daisy had said to her hurt her feelings so much. She thought Daisy had loved her like a sister, she didn’t know she had an hatred for her so deep.
She remembered when they were so Young, she had shared everything she had with Daisy. She loved her so much that they did almost everything together.
They would style their hair the same style, and wear the same clothes and shoes. They were also in the same class back then in high school. Almost everyone thought they were twins. She couldn’t believe she would do this to her now. Tears filled her eyes.
It was just too much for her to bear. She felt so heartbroken. The car screeched to a halt in front of the Motel. Lisa alighted the car and there she had seen Alfred standing outside the hotel probably waiting for her.
He was dressed in his expensive suit as usual with his hands tucked in his pocket. His hair looked so fine and shiny. Even in Lisa’s state, he could still notice how handsome this man was. He was like a Demigod. She then noticed most of the females outside were staring at him drooling.
She sighed softly as she saw Alfred walking towards her car. She alighted the car and moved towards him, the next thing, she hugged him so tight like her life depended on it.
Since Alfred was taller than her she had tiptoed while hugging him and even though she was looking so petite in front of him. People stared at the both of them admiring them. They looked so perfect together, they thought.
“Lisa, are you alright?” Alfred asked as he pulled away from the hug. Lisa stared at him without saying a word. The tears that were slipping down her cheeks had already said it all, she wasn’t alright.
“Hey, stop crying alright? I’m here now, everything is going to be fine ” Alfred said as he wiped her tears with his thumb and kissed her lightly on her lips.
Lisa didn’t know why but she felt a little bit calm. She felt everything was going to be fine as Alfred had told her. She felt there was still hope. She stared at the man in front of him.
She had remembered once upon a time he was her nightmare, Mr. Dangerous but now he was her comfort, her shield, and her hero. Even though people call him darkness she feels he’s her light. she feels with him by her side everything is going to be fine again.
“Common, let’s go inside,” Alfred said and held her hands as they walked inside the restaurant. Alfred then noticed she was weak or rather too tired. He suddenly swept her feet off the floor carrying her in his arms while people were staring.
Lisa felt her cheeks turn red with butterflies all over her stomach. She wrapped her arms around his neck as he carried her inside his room. He helped her sit on the bed, and offered her a glass of water which she gulped down without any delay.
She gave him back the empty glass and he dropped it and sat beside her.
“I’ll order some food for you and call the doctor to come to check on you. You look so weak and tired. You are stressed” Alfred said as he picked up his phone.
“I’m fine Alfred, my mind has just been occupied lately. A lot has been happening and I’m finding it hard to digest it all” Lisa said tiredly.
“I know. You don’t have to worry, everything is going to be fine. Your mom is going to regain her memories soon and that Daisy, she’s pregnant too” Alfred said and Lisa stared at him wondering how he knew all of this. She then sighed softly, of course, this was Alfred king of all people.
He’s always ten steps ahead of everyone and knows about everything. He’s got eyes and ears everywhere.
“Is she pregnant?” Lisa asked and Alfred nodded in response.
“Who’s the father of the child?” Lisa asked and Alfred sighed.
“That you do not want to know,” Alfred said
“I do want to know Alfred, please tell me,” Lisa said and Alfred sighed softly. He couldn’t say no to her.
“Daniel is the father”
