You better do” he said and walked out of the room pushing Clara out of the way and making her fall to the ground.
“Clara” Dina called as she walked towards her daughter who was in tears and hugged her tightly.
“Everything is going to be a fine baby” Dina consoled as she gave her daughter a warm hug.
Dina was a young girl who got pregnant by Charles at a very young age. She was an orphan and had no means of surviving after the death of her parents. She had no option but to look on the outside for survival. But in all she never knew Charles was the most heartless being ever, she was blinded by his sweetness towards her that she didn’t realize he was a monster until after the birth of their one and only child, Clara.
Everything she does, everything she endures is now for her daughter Clara. She had tried so many times to run away with her daughter but he always has his way of bringing them back home.
The last time she had planned on escaping she and her daughter was almost shot by Charles with a guy. There was a time she also tried taking her life, but she just couldn’t because of her daughter. She can’t leave Clara all alone with her father, that would be pure wickedness because Charles was going to use her as his slave.
Charles also hates when she makes friends too, that’s why she’s always on her own and everyone refers to her as a loner and a sadist without trying to find out the real reason behind everything.
She wonders how Charles will react if he finds out he was on a video call with her fellow workers today. He is going to beat the daylight out of her like he usually does.
She sighed softly and carried her daughter then helped her lay on the bed beside her. She told her bedtime story and sang for her, not quite long, she drifted to sleep.

It was morning again and another day to be precise. Lisa was dressed in one of those killer gowns. She was looking as hot as ever when she walked inside the company.
People stared in awe. “Wow she’s pretty” she heard one of the workers say.
“Yeah, she’s fucking hot! Hot pregnant lady” another said and the other hissed.
“I’m sure she’s one of Mr. Daniel’s baby mama. Once she’s done giving birth he’s gonna kick her ass out” one of them said as she stared at Lisa with hatred in her eyes.
Lisa sighed softly as she heard people gossip about her. She just didn’t care about what they said, besides no matter what she does people will always find something to say.
“Hey hottie” she heard a voice from behind. It was Martha.
“Hey, hi,” Lisa said as she smiled at her.
“You look so fucking hot today. Where do you buy your dress from?” Martha whispered and Lisa chuckled. She can’t tell Daniel has been the one buying those badass gowns for her.
“I got it from a random store down the road,” I said and she nodded in response.
“Where are the rest? Let’s make sure we all meet at the cafeteria today during lunch. We should start working on the project so we can submit it tomorrow” she said, looking around as other groups were already working on theirs.
“Ok ma’am, ” Martha said and Lisa smiled at her.
“The ma’am isn’t necessary” Lisa laughed and Martha smiled.
“You sound so much like the CEO. I bet when you open your own company, you’ll make a good boss” Martha said and Lisa scoffed.
Just then she caught a glimpse of Dina staring at them but she quickly looked away immediately her eyes came in contact with that of Lisa.
Lisa smiled and stood up.
“I’ll go tell Dina we will be meeting at the cafeteria later today,” Lisa said and Martha nodded.
“Okay I’ll inform the others, ” Martha said and left.
Lisa who was now standing behind Dina cleared her throat and Dina turned around in shock. She was surprised to see Lisa at her table.
“Hey,” Lisa said to Dina and she forced herself to smile.
“Hi,” Dina said and Lisa chuckled at her but then she caught a glimpse of something in her hands. Like an injury. Her memories went back to the days Alfred had treated her like a slave. He inflicted an injury so similar to this on her.
Is Dina being mistreated? she thought and Dina, on the other hand, noticed Lisa staring at her hand and she quickly covered it.
“How did you get that?” Lisa asked
“Uhm, I fell on my way home so I got injured,” Dina said and Lisa stared at her weirdly. She knew Dina was lying but she quickly shook off the thoughts.
“What brought you here?” Dina asked
“It’s about the project at hand. We will be meeting at the cafeteria today” Lisa said and Dina nodded in response.
“Ok, thank you. I’ll get back to work now ”Dina said and Lisa nodded before leaving.

It was closing hour and almost all the workers had gone home except Lisa and her group, they were yet to finish the project they were to submit tomorrow.
Lisa had asked them to go home and that she was going to wait for Daniel till he was done so they could go home together and in the process finish up everything and they agreed.
It was so dark outside that Lisa didn’t realize it. She was already done with the project and fell asleep on her sit. On the other hand, Daniel, who thought Lisa had gone home with the driver and didn’t wait for him, was surprised to see Lisa sleeping in the company.
He checked his time and noticed it was past 10 already.
He sighed softly, noticing Lisa had been working so hard lately by stressing herself. All he wanted for her, was for her to forget about the past and do something to make her forget but seems in the end she’s overworking herself.
He sighed as he stared into her beautiful face. He felt so tempted to kiss her but then his eyes moved towards her dummy as it dawned on him that she was pregnant. He sighed softly and carried her in his arms to his car.
