Chapter 479: The Car Is Mine

Bianca looked at Natalie. She didn’t want to deal with her here, but Natalie wouldn’t leave her alone.
Bianca didn’t flinch at her tone. She answered calmly, “That’s not your business. But you seem sure you’ll win the car. Let’s see what happens.”
Natalie crossed her arms and gave Bianca a cold look. “I always get what I want. But Miss Scott, sweet-talking a man won’t help you. You can’t even buy the car you like.”
As she spoke, she glanced at the man next to Bianca.
Wyatt didn’t react. He wore a blank expression without sparing a glance to Natalie.
Wyatt leaned in and said quietly, “Miss Scott, please wait here a moment. I need to make a call.”
Bianca nodded.
After Wyatt walked away, Natalie moved closer and stood beside her, still trying to provoke her.
“Whether a man spends on a woman depends on how much she means to him,” Natalie said. “If a woman has no value, even being with a rich man won’t save her.”
Bianca laughed. “Can’t you live without a man? Why let a man decide your worth? Or maybe you see yourself as something to be bought, ready to go with anyone who offers enough.”
Natalie’s face turned red. “How dare you!” she snapped, but then quickly pulled herself together. “No matter what you say, I’m getting this car today!”
Bianca gave a dry smile.
She didn’t care about the car. She wasn’t interested in who won it. She was only waiting for Wyatt to come back.
Once he returned, she planned to leave. If Natalie wanted to compete, she could deal with the wealthy bidders around her.
Meanwhile, Wyatt went to a quiet corner and made a call to Dave.
Dave was in the middle of a tough negotiation at the port. He was about to ignore the call, but stopped when he saw Wyatt’s name on the screen.
Knowing it was about Bianca, Dave answered right away.
“What is it? Make it quick.”
Wyatt, knowing Dave was busy, quickly explained what was happening at the auction. He told him how Natalie had mocked Bianca.
He then asked, “Sir, what should I do?”
“Buy the car and give it to Bianca,” Dave said casually.
Wyatt now knew exactly what to do.
The auction was about to start. All bidders had to sign up and get their paddles.
Natalie rushed to register and came back holding her paddle proudly. She waved it in front of Bianca and said, “Aren’t you signing up? Oh right, you can’t afford anything here!”
Then she turned to the nearby staff and raised her voice. “How did someone like her even get in? This event clearly lacks proper control!”
People around them started to stare. All eyes shifted to Natalie and Bianca.
“Showing up at an auction with no money-she must be here just to watch.”
“Some women will do anything for status. Dress up, sneak into fancy places, and hope to be noticed.”
“People like her don’t belong at a luxury car event.”
“Wait… she looks kind of familiar.”
Bianca heard the whispers but ignored them quickly.
Bianca stayed calm. She had seen how the rich acted before.
Just then, the auction started.
The opening bid was twenty million dollars. The room buzzed with offers.
It quickly rose to thirty million, then fifty million.
When it reached seventy million, fewer people joined in. That’s when Natalie raised her paddle and shouted, “Eighty million dollars!”
The crowd stared at Natalie. Many of them quietly thought that stars really did have money. Eighty million was a huge amount for a car.
“Eighty million dollars. Any more bids?” the host called out.
People looked at each other but remained silent.
The host raised his voice. “Eighty million going once, eighty million going twice, eighty million…”
Before the host could finish, a loud voice came from the back.
“I bid one hundred million dollars!”
The sudden bid stunned the entire room. Everyone turned to see where the voice had come from.
Bianca turned too, her face full of surprise. Her eyes widened as she saw who it was.
Wyatt suddenly stepped forward in front of everyone.
Natalie’s eyes went wide. She thought he had left, but instead, he came back and placed a one hundred million dollar bid.
Natalie clenched her fists and gave a forced smile. “Sir, I’m sorry. You didn’t register or get a paddle. That means you can’t join the bidding.”
“Is that so?” Wyatt said, looking calmly at the auction organizer.
The organizer had heard the high bid. He couldn’t ignore it. He quickly walked over to Wyatt and said politely, “Sir, let me explain how the rules work.”
Natalie lifted her chin and said to Wyatt with a smug tone, “Did you hear that? You’re too late. The car is mine.”
Then she leaned close to Bianca and whispered, “Bianca, the guy you’re with isn’t that impressive. He didn’t even get a paddle. Now he’s trying to bid? You must be so upset.”
Bianca caught Natalie’s look and realized she had the wrong idea about Wyatt. But she didn’t care to explain.
Someone like Natalie would never believe her anyway.
She simply gave a small smirk and stayed quiet.
Natalie scoffed. To her, Bianca was just putting on an act. She was sure Bianca was upset deep down.
Wyatt didn’t say a word. He took out a golden card from his pocket and handed it to the organizer.
“Will this work?” he asked.
The organizer’s expression changed the moment he saw the card.
It was an SVIP card. Only a few dozen people in the world had one. Most of them were on the Forbes billionaire list.
This card didn’t just make someone a VIP at the show. It also allowed the holder to place bids at any time, no matter the stage of the auction.
It was like having a VIP pass for the auction.
The organizer’s tone changed right away. “Of course, sir! You’re allowed to bid at any time.”
Natalie was stunned upon hearing the organizer’s statement.
She shouted, “Why does he get to ignore the rules? Who is this guy?”
The organizer turned to her with a forced smile. “Miss King, this gentleman is an SVIP. He has the right to bid whenever he wants. That’s our policy.”
Natalie was no match for someone with SVIP status.
Her eyes widened. She had heard about the SVIP club. Only people with over a hundred billion in assets could join. That meant the man with Bianca was beyond rich.
