Stella was enjoying drinking wine alone when she heard the main door open. She stood up from her chair and walked into the living room. She noticed that Brandon wasn’t there anymore. “He left again!” Stella whispered and went back to the kitchen.
She opened the second bottle of wine and started drinking it. “There’s a lot of women in the pack, Brandon!” Stella said while looking at the wine glass she was holding. “Daisha always has the thing that I want.” She added and smiled at the wine glass.
“Am I that hard to love?” Stella asked herself and stood up from the chair. She went to the living room and looked around. “Why can’t you love me, huh?” She said while looking at the couch. “Are you okay?” She was startled when the main door opened and Brandon appeared.
She immediately wiped the tears on her face and turned her back to Brandon. “Yeah, I’m fine!” She answered and went to the kitchen.
Brandon knew that there was something with Stella but he didn’t dare to ask her. He needed to show her how he was uninterested in her so she could drop the deal.
It has been weeks since Alpha Raven visited his son and Stella. He called Remus to visit them again and checked if everything was going right. “You called me, Alpha Raven!” Remus said as soon as he entered the hall. “We need to visit them again, Remus!” Alpha Raven said, and Remus just looked at his alpha.
“Why? I can feel that everything is alright.” Remus answered and lied in front of his alpha. “I need to see that personally.” Alpha Raven answered, and Remus didn’t have a choice but to accompany his alpha.
They left their alpha’s place and travelled toward Stella’s place. They were outside the house when Brandon came out, “Oh! You are here again!” Brandon told them and smiled at Remus. “Where are you going, young man?” Alpha Raven told him and glared at his son.
“I’m going into the woods with Tyros.” Brandon answered and that’s when Tyros appeared. “I’m here, Alpha Raven!” Tyros said and greeted his alpha. “Why are you always leaving?” Alpha Raven asked his son, and Brandon took a deep breath.
They stopped talking when Stella got out of the house, “Dad!” She called Remus.
“Oh, honey!” Remus said and went to his daughter. He hugged her, which made Stella smirk at her father. “You are playing too well.” Stella whispered to her father, “Just play along!” Remus answered.
Stella went to their alpha and greeted him, “You look happy today, Stella!” Alpha Raven told her, and Stella nodded her head. “I just knew something that made me alive.” Stella said and looked at Brandon.
Brandon was looking at her and waited for what she was going to say, “What is it?” Alpha Raven asked her. “Are you not busy, Dad?” Brandon asked his father and Alpha Raven looked at him. “I will not be here if I am busy!” Alpha Raven answered and looked at Stella again.
“Continue what you are saying, young lady!” Alpha Raven told Stella, “It is better to know it when it is unexpected.” Stella answered and smiled at their alpha. She bowed her head and started walking away.
“Everything’s alright?” Alpha Raven asked his son, “Of course!” Brandon answered and tapped Tyros’ shoulder. “We are going now, Alpha Raven!” Tyros said and bowed at their alpha.
Brandon and Tyros started walking into the woods, “She knew?” Tyros asked Brandon. “I don’t know! Maybe?” Brandon answered, and Tyros shook his head in disbelief. “How can you do that to a woman?” Tyros asked him, and Brandon immediately glared at Tyros.
“She chose this path so she needs to deal with it.” Brandon answered and they reached the middle of the woods. They stopped walking when they saw Sky talking to Daisha, “Hey!” They stopped walking when Brandon appeared. “Hey!” Daisha greeted him back, “What’s going on?” Brandon asked her and looked at Sky. “We are just catching up!” Daisha answered and smiled at Brandon.
“I will go now!” Sky told them and turned his back at them, “That’s good!” Brandon whispered, but Sky still heard it. Daisha immediately grabbed Brandon’s arm to stop him, “Come on, don’t start!” Daisha whispered to him. “Goodbye!” Tyros told Sky, and Sky just nodded his head.
Sky left, and Daisha immediately looked at Brandon. “Why are you always like that?” Daisha asked him and looked at Tyros, “I will just look at the skies!” Tyros said and walked away. Brandon took a deep breath and looked at Daisha, “Look! I’m sorry! I am stressed right now.” Brandon answered and held her hand.
“I need to go!” Daisha said and removed his hand from her. She started walking, but Brandon stopped her. “Where are you going?” Brandon asked her while holding her arm. “I need to do something important!” Daisha answered and removed his hand again. She walked away, and Brandon couldn’t do anything but watch her leave.
“Should we go or not?” Tyros appeared, which made Brandon look at him. “I’m going home!” Brandon answered and started walking away. Tyros shook his head in disbelief and left the woods. He was walking towards Flora’s house when he saw Stella leaving, “Are you going home?” Tyros asked her, and Stella nodded her head.
“I guess you should stay here for a bit longer!” Tyros told her, “Nah! I need to cook for our dinner.” Stella answered and smiled at him. “Brandon can cook!” Tyros told her but he couldn’t stop her.
Flora got out of their house and saw Tyros stopping Stella from leaving, “Why?” She asked him. Tyros looked at her and put his arm on her shoulder. “It’s complicated!” Tyros answered, and Flora nodded her head. “You are hiding something from me!” Flora told him, and Tyros immediately looked at her.
“You will know that soon!” Tyros said and caressed her hair. “Let’s go inside!” Flora told him, and they went inside the house.
Stella decided to buy some groceries so she went to a store near their house. She was looking around and saw a couple enjoying buying their groceries. She shook her head to make herself focus, she was choosing bread when someone stopped beside her. “Found you!” She was startled when she heard a familiar voice.
“What are you doing here?” She asked Brandon, but she didn’t get any answer from him. Brandon stole the cart from her, and they started buying their groceries. Stella was looking around, and Brandon was following her. “You are always like this?” Brandon asked her, which made Stella stop walking.
“Sometimes Flora comes with me but she’s busy now.” Stella answered and started walking again. “Why are you not calling me?” Brandon asked her again, “You are always busy!” Stella answered and put some red wine in the cart.
Brandon noticed that Stella always bought a specific brand of red wine so he thought that she really liked that red wine. “Do you need anything else?” Stella asked him, “Nah! I’m fine!” Brandon answered, and Stella just nodded her head.
They went to the cashier, and Stella was going to pay it when Brandon gave his card to the cashier. “What’s wrong with you today, huh?” Stella asked him, and Brandon just smiled at her.
They left the grocery store and walked back to their house. Stella started arranging the groceries they bought when Brandon helped her. It was new for Stella that Brandon was kind to her.
“Are you going somewhere? Do you need something from me?” Stella asked him, which made Brandon laugh at her.
“Why are you asking me those kinds of questions?” Brandon asked her and laughed at her again. “You are being kind to me!” Stella answered, and Brandon nodded his head. “Is it new for you?” Brandon asked her, and Stella didn’t answer him.
“If you are going to tell me that I should leave, my answer is no.” Stella said and finished what she was doing. Brandon just looked at her in disbelief and smirked when she was not looking. “Am I that rude to you?” Brandon asked her, which made Stella stop what she was doing.
“I guess so!” Stella answered and put the last Coke on the fridge. “I will go to my room now, I will cook later!” She added and walked towards her room. Brandon didn’t bother to follow her and went to the couch.
He was sitting peacefully when someone knocked on the door. He stood up from the couch and opened the main door. “Why are you here?” Brandon asked Tyros as soon as he saw him. “We have a problem!” Tyros told him and looked at Brandon seriously.
They went to the border and their sentinels were already there, “Some intruders got in last night and no one could trace them.” The head sentinels told Brandon, “Where are your men then?” Brandon asked him. “They were taking rounds on the other side of our land.” The head of the sentinels answered, and Brandon nodded his head.
“Are you out of men now?” Brandon asked him, and the head of the sentinels shook his head. “What happened here?” Alpha Raven appeared, and Brandon immediately looked at him. “Some intruders got in and I guess they were still lurking around.” Brandon answered, and Alpha Raven patted his shoulder. “Can you find them?” Alpha Raven asked his son.
“Of course! I will do everything to catch them.” Brandon answered, “ALPHA!” They were startled when their alpha’s man came. “Yes, Leo?” Alpha Raven asked him. “We saw an intruder in a public space and he has a hostage right now.” Leo answered, and they were all alarmed.
“Let’s go!” Brandon said, and they started to travel. They stopped when they saw the intruder holding Daisha by the neck. “Let my daughter go!” Remus appeared and tried to talk to the intruder.
“Then what are you going to do? Kill me?” The intruder asked him, and Remus shook his head. He looked at Alpha Raven, “Alpha! Please help me!” Remus told their alpha and begged for his daughter’s life.
“I will take care of this!” Brandon said and started walking into the intruder. “Stop coming here!” The intruder yelled at him, “Let her go!” Brandon told him.
Flora was in her wolf form and shifted into her human form when she reached Stella’s place. She knocked on the door aggressively, and Stella immediately opened it. “What’s wrong with you?” Stella asked her when someone pushed Flora inside the house.
“Go inside!” The other intruder instructed them, and they didn’t have a choice but to follow him. The intruder was following them until they reached the living room. He gave them a rope and instructed them to tie themselves. They were outnumbered so they didn’t try to fight them.
Sky came to the scene where Brandon was talking to the intruder, “I knew it!” He told himself, and their attention went to the sentinel that was running towards them. “We found the other intruders!” The sentinel told them, “Where are they?” Alpha Raven asked him.
“They are taking Flora and Stella as their hostage!” The sentinel answered, and Brandon stopped approaching the intruder in front of him. “You can save Daisha and I will save them!” Sky told him and shifted into his wolf form.
While Sky was running towards Stella’s place, Brandon was making a deal with the intruder. He was talking to him and didn’t realise Tyros was at the back of the intruder. They attacked him at once and freed Daisha from him.
The sentinels got the intruder, and Alpha Raven immediately called Brandon. “How about your mate, huh?” Alpha Raven told his son, “I’m going now!” Brandon answered and looked at Daisha.
He didn’t wait for Daisha’s answer and ran away. Tyros was following him until they reached Brandon’s place. Sky was outside of the house and scanning the area when Brandon came.
“What are you doing?” Brandon asked him, “There’s a lot of intruders inside your house, kiddo!” Sky answered. “The heck!” Brandon answered and looked at his house.
