“What’s now, Flora?” Stella asked her best friend and stopped her from dragging her away. “We need to go far away from here!” Flora answered but Stella didn’t want to walk anymore. “Why do we need to do that?” Stella asked her again, which made Flora shake her head in disbelief. “Can you just trust me, Stella?” Flora told her seriously, and Stella nodded her head.
They started walking again until they reached the woods, the only light they had was the moon. They stopped walking, and Flora faced her. “I know that you will not believe me but I still want to tell you this.” Flora said, and Stella was waiting for her to spill it. “Then tell me!” Stella answered, and Flora took a deep breath.
“I saw your sister here!” Flora said, which made Stella take her seriously. “Where?” Stella asked her, “I don’t know where she is now but I am sure that I saw her earlier.” Flora answered, and Stella nodded her head.
“Let’s go back there!” Stella said, and Flora just looked at her. “Are you not interested in your sister-
“She’s old enough, Flora! She already knows what she is doing.” Stella cut what Flora was saying, and Flora just agreed with her. They went back to their hotel and saw Sky waiting for them outside. “Where did you go?” Sky asked them as soon as he saw them approaching him. “We just talked!” Flora answered and tapped Stella’s shoulder. “Okay, let’s go to the beach!” Sky told them and they started walking towards the beach.
Stella was looking around and hoping to find Brandon there, she looked at the benches when her gaze met Daisha, who was sitting alone on the bench. “I need to go somewhere!” Stella told them and didn’t wait for their answers.
She walked towards Daisha, and Daisha immediately felt her presence. “Oh! I didn’t know that you had time to be here!” Stella told her sister, “Why? You don’t want me to be here?” Daisha asked her too.
Stella smirked at her sister and shook her head, “Nah! I’m happy to see you here!” Stella told her and turned her back to her sister. “Be careful! I might catch you in the act!” Stella said and started walking away. Daisha was left dumbfounded after hearing what Stella told her. She shook her head in disbelief and didn’t mind Stella again.
“Where did you go?” Flora asked Stella when she got back with them. “She’s here!” Stella said and got a juice for herself.
“So, what will you do now?” Flora asked her again, “Nothing! I’m not in the place to stop them!” Stella answered and looked at Flora seriously. “Them?” Flora was confused at what she heard from Stella. “Nothing!” Stella said and drank her juice.
Sky came back from getting himself wet, “Are you going to swim?” He asked Stella and that’s when Brandon appeared. “She’s coming with me!” Brandon said and held Stella’s hand, “Nah! I can go alone!” Stella answered and removed his hand from her.
Stella went to the water and soaked herself, she was enjoying the water until someone held her waist. She stopped and looked at the man who was holding her, “Why are you here?” She asked Brandon. “We need to talk!” Brandon told her, which made Stella smirk at him. “Nah! I’m busy!” Stella answered and pushed him away.
She got out of the water, and Sky handed her a towel. “Thank you!” Stella told him, and Sky smiled at her. “You are not on good terms with him?” Sky asked her, and they went back to their bench. “I don’t have the energy to talk to him right now.” Stella answered and sat on the bench.
“Tequila?” Flora appeared and handed Stella a glass of tequila. “That’s too early for alcohol!” Sky scolded them but they didn’t listen to him. “Just drink with us!” Stella told him, and they saw Brandon approaching them. “Here we go again!” Flora said and winked at Stella.
“Stella-
Stella cut what Brandon was going to tell her, she stood up and finished her drinks. “Fine, let’s talk!” She told him and started walking away. Brandon was following her until they reached the entrance of the woods. “So, what is it?” Stella stopped walking and looked at him. “I need to tell you something!” Brandon said, and Stella nodded her head. “Go on, spill it!” Stella answered and waited for his answer.
“Stella!” They were caught up when Daisha appeared and went to Stella’s side. “Who is this guy? Is he your mate?” Daisha added while looking at Brandon. “Can’t you see that we are talking, Daisha?” Stella asked her sister, and Daisha looked at her. “Be kind to your sister, Stella! Your mate is watching us!” Daisha whispered to her, “I don’t care!” Stella whispered back to her sister.
“What’s going on?” Brandon asked them, and Daisha smiled at him. “I’m going now!” Daisha told him and patted his shoulder. Stella saw what Daisha did to Brandon but she didn’t take it seriously.
“Continue what you are saying!” Stella told him when Daisha left, “Forget it!” Brandon answered and walked away. Stella froze in her place while watching Brandon leave. “What the heck is that?” Stella asked herself and shook her head.
Stella decided to go to her room and took a bath. She was drying her hair when someone knocked on the door. She opened the door and Flora appeared, “What did he tell you?” Flora asked her and went inside her room. “He didn’t say anything!” Stella answered and dried her hair using a blower. “But he was insisting on talking to you earlier.” Flora told her, and Stella nodded her head.
“Yeah, but Daisha appeared when he was trying to tell me something and when Daisha left, he didn’t continue what he was saying to me.” Stella told her, and Flora nodded her head. “Are you sure that you can trust your sister?” Flora asked her again, which made Stella look at her. “What do you mean?” Stella asked her and stopped what she was doing.
“Nothing, I’m just making sure that you trust your sister.” Flora said, and Stella nodded her head. They didn’t leave the room for a while until Brandon came back from the beach. “I need to go!” Flora told Stella and patted her shoulder. “Bye!” Stella said and watched Flora leave.
“Do you have any extra towels?” Brandon asked her, and Stella handed him a clean towel. “Thanks!” He told her but Stella didn’t say anything. Brandon noticed that Stella wasn’t talking to him but he didn’t care at all.
Stella didn’t try to talk to Brandon even though he was walking in front of her. She was silent for a long time until dinner came. Sky called them so they could eat together. “Why don’t you call your sister?” Brandon asked her when they were inside the elevator. “Oh! You are interested in my sister now?” Stella asked him, and Brandon smirked at her. “I’m just being kind to your family, Stella!” Brandon answered, and Stella rolled her eyes at him.
They got out of the elevator and Stella was walking faster than Brandon. They went to the restaurant where Sky told them to go. “Sky likes to show off, huh?” Brandon said when they entered the restaurant. “He’s just a nice person.” Stella answered and they saw their table.
“Have a seat!” Sky told them, and Stella sat beside Flora. “We are just waiting for Daisha!” Sky added, and Stella looked at Brandon immediately. He didn’t show any reaction when he heard Daisha’s name.
“Are we thinking the same, huh?” Flora whispered at her, and Stella just shrugged. “I don’t want to make any conclusion in my head. It will just ruin me!” Stella answered, and that’s when Daisha appeared.
“I’m sorry for keeping all of you waiting!” Daisha said and sat beside Brandon. “Let’s order now!” Sky said and called the waiter. Stella couldn’t take her eyes off her sister. She was checking if her assumption was correct. “Don’t let your sister notice that you are looking at her!” Flora whispered again to Stella, “Stop now!” Stella whispered back at her.
The waiter came and handed the menu to them, “Why don’t you try this one?” Stella told Brandon while pointing out a dish. “I like it but I guess it has peanuts.” Brandon answered and looked at Stella. “Peanuts are fine, you will love this.” Stella answered and looked at her sister.
Stella had an idea on her mind but she didn’t want to believe it. “Fine, I will-
“Don’t try to eat it if you are allergic to it!” Daisha stopped what Brandon was saying. “Why are you overreacting?” Stella asked her, which made Daisha silent. No one tried to break the silence until the waiter came back, “Can I get your order now?” The waiter told them, and Sky said his order.
“Don’t be too emotional, Stella!” Brandon whispered at her, which made Stella smirk at him. “You should tell that to my sister!” Stella answered and looked at Daisha. “I’m sorry, I need to go!” Daisha said and stood up from her chair.
Daisha left, and Stella was waiting for what Brandon would do. She was amazed when Brandon stayed with her. The waiter started serving their orders and they started eating.
Stella was busy eating her food when she noticed that Brandon was eating so fast. “Hey, easy! You will get indigestion if you eat like that!” She warned him, but Brandon didn’t listen to her. “I’m sleepy!” Brandon said and put down the fork that he was holding.
She didn’t say anything when Brandon handed her some money and left. “What drama is that?” Sky asked her, and Stella just looked at him. “I lost my appetite!” Stella said and handed the money to Sky. “This is my treat!” Sky answered, and Stella nodded her head. “Thank you!” Stella said and walked away.
Stella went back to her room to find Brandon there, she was looking for him but she couldn’t find him. “Such a liar!” Stella said and went to the bathroom to change her clothes. While she was inside the bathroom, she heard footsteps walking inside her room. She knew that it was Brandon.
Brandon changed his clothes and smiled when Stella was still not there. He was lying on her bed when the bathroom door opened. He immediately sat on the bed and saw Stella there. “When did you come?” Brandon asked her but Stella didn’t say anything.
“I will sleep on the couch!” Stella said and grabbed some pillows. She lay on the couch and didn’t talk to Brandon again.
Morning came, and Stella didn’t want to leave her room. She saw Brandon leaving the room early and she didn’t try to ask him where he would go. She was looking at the ceiling when her phone rang. “I hope you will find the truth!” A woman’s voice told her and ended the call. “Dang! What is that?” Stella asked herself and looked at her phone.
She answered an unknown call and now, she was thinking about what that woman told her. “The truth? What is the truth?” Stella kept asking herself until Flora came to her room.
“Sky told me that we need to go back to our land!” Flora told her, and Stella nodded her head. “As in now?” Stella asked her, and Flora nodded her head.
They were waiting for Sky to come when Brandon appeared. “Where are you going? He asked Stella but she didn’t say anything. “Just go home when you are done!” Stellar told him and smiled at Brandon.
Brandon nodded his head and walked away, “What is that?” Flora asked her, and Stella shook her head. “Nothing!” Stella answered, and that’s when Sky appeared. “Are you letting him stay here with your sister?” Flora asked her, and Stella looked at her. “I’m tired!” Stella answered and didn’t mind her best friend.
