Stella’s P. O. V.
Two Months Later
It’s the last month of my pregnancy, and Alex is massaging my feet. My stomach has grown so much from carrying twins that it has become hard to handle. Every movement feels like an effort. This month is getting so difficult, but I try to remind myself it’ll be worth it when I finally meet our mini-versions.
Alex looks up at me, concern etched in his features as he kneads the arch of my foot. “You okay, Flower? You’ve been so quiet.”
I let out a sigh, leaning back against the pillows as I close my eyes for a moment. “It’s just… everything feels so heavy now, Alex. I feel like I’m going to burst sometimes.”
He pauses before lifting my foot to give it a soft kiss. “You’re doing amazing, Stella. Just a little longer and we’ll have our mini versions here. And then I’ll be there with you every step of the way.”
I’m exhausted, but hearing him say that makes everything feel a little easier. “You know I’m so lucky to have you.” I give him a smile.
He slides his hand over my belly and rests it there gently. “I’m also lucky to have you. You’re carrying our future, Stella. You’re so strong.”
I rest my hand on his. “I can’t wait for them to finally get here. It feels like we’ve been waiting forever.”
He chuckles, rubbing my belly with the same tenderness he always does. “Little ones, Mommy and Daddy are desperately waiting for you both, but take your proper time. There is no hurry.”
Every time he talks to our mini versions like this, my chest becomes heavy with emotions. I just can’t wait to see him holding them and talking to them. I’m sure he’ll become the world’s best father, just like the best husband he is.
After a minute, Alex’s phone rings on the nightstand.
He glances at it, then looks back at me with a grin. “It’s Sky.”
My eyes widen with excitement. Zoe was admitted to the hospital this morning. Their baby must have arrived. I just pray they both are fine.
Alex swipes to answer the call, sitting beside me. The screen lights up with Sky’s face, his hair tousled and a wide smile stretching across his face. Behind him, I can see the hospital equipment.
“She did it!” Sky exclaims, his voice filled with joy. “It’s a boy!”
“Oh, my God!” Tears trickle down my cheeks as Alex squeezes my shoulder. “Congratulations, Sky! How’s Zoe?”
Sky responds, “She’s exhausted, but great. She’s resting now.”
Alex utters, “That’s amazing, man. Congratulations to both of you. Now, show us the little guy.”
Sky’s smile widens, and he turns the camera. “Here, meet our little boy.”
My eyes shine up as the screen fills with the image of a tiny baby swaddled in a soft blue blanket sleeping in the crib.
“Oh, look at him! He’s perfect.”
Alex nods, his eyes glued to the screen. “He’s so cute. Look at that tiny nose.”
Sky chuckles. “Right? He has got Zoe’s nose, for sure.”
More tears stream down my face as I imagine holding my babies soon. “I’m so happy for you guys. You’re going to be amazing parents.”
“Thank you.” Sky turns the camera back to himself. “We can’t wait for your twins to arrive. They’re going to grow up like siblings.”
“Absolutely,” Alex agrees. “We’re counting down the days.”
“Alright, I should get back to Zoe. But we’ll call you guys later to talk more.”
“Give Zoe our love.” I smile through my tears. “And kiss that little guy for us.”
Sky nods. “Will do. Take care, guys.”
As the call ends, Alex sets the phone down and pulls me into a warm hug. “Can you believe it? Their baby’s here.”
I nod against his chest, overwhelmed with emotion. “It’s so real now, Alex. Soon, it’ll be us.”
He presses a kiss on my forehead. “And I can’t wait. Seeing their baby just makes me even more excited.”
I pull back to look at him, resting my hands on my belly. “Our mini versions will be here soon, and I just know they’re going to be as beautiful as their cousin.”
“They’ll be perfect. Because they’ll have you as their mom.” He kisses my lips softly.
We sit there together, dreaming of the day we’ll meet our babies.

One Month Later
I wake up in the hospital bed, and a huge smile spreads across my face as I see Alex sitting on the sofa, holding our two little princesses close to his chest, his eyes filled with profound affection fixed on them. They’re both sleeping peacefully, swaddled in white blankets and wearing matching white caps with Little Princess embroidered on them. I imagined this moment countless times during my pregnancy, but experiencing it in real life is far more fulfilling and beautiful than I ever dreamed.
Damn! It took every ounce of my strength to bring them into this world, but it was so worth it. Alex never left my side and encouraged me throughout the birth. He’s such a gem, and he makes me fall more in love with him every day.
When the doctor finally told us they were perfectly healthy, I passed out with a smile of relief on my face.
Now, seeing Alex with my mini versions-the babies we created together-it’s the most blissful sight I’ve ever seen. I could watch them like this forever, but now I badly want to hold my daughters. God! I can’t believe they’re finally here.
“Alex…” I call him, my voice still hoarse from all the screaming and crying during labour.
As he shifts his gaze toward me, his lips curve into a smile. “You did it, Flower. I’m so proud of you.”
“No.” I shake my head with a weak smile. “We did it. Now, come here. I want to hold them.” I open my arms to him, dying to hold my beautiful daughters. It’s like a dream come true moment.
“Yeah, of course.” He rises from the sofa, carefully holding them as though they’re the most precious treasures in the world-which they are. Thanks to all the newborn care classes we took, Alex and I are prepared to handle twins without freaking out. We knew it wasn’t going to be a cakewalk, so we wanted to be ready for anything.
He walks over and places one of the babies in each of my arms, their tiny faces scrunching up slightly before relaxing again. As soon as I feel their weight against me, tears brim in my eyes. They’re beautiful angels and so perfect. So dreamy.
“Aww… they’re so tiny and beautiful.” I brush my fingers gently over their soft cheeks. One of them lets out the faintest little coo, and my heart becomes so full of emotions. I couldn’t believe it just a few hours ago, they were inside me.
Alex sits on the edge of the bed, gazing at them. “They take after you. You’re my Flower.” He leans in and presses his lips on my forehead. “And they’re my two little flowers.” He kisses their tiny forehead.
“Our family feels so complete now.” He caresses my cheek, his eyes shifting between me and our daughters. “Although you looked so beautiful while carrying our babies, and a part of me wants to fill you up with my seed again, I won’t do that. I can’t bear to see you go through the pain of labour again, Flower. It was unbearable watching you like that.”
“But it was worth it, right? They’re both miracles.” I smile, watching our daughters. They’re so incredibly cute.
“Indeed. Thank you for bringing them into this world, Stella.” Alex leans closer and presses a soft kiss to my lips.
Just then, their cries fill the room. I chuckle, shaking my head. “It’s like they know the moment you kiss me. They used to get active inside me whenever you did that, and now it’s the same.”
“Jealous little flowers,” Alex says in a playful tone, making me laugh.
This moment feels so perfect. I want nothing else now. Truly, our family feels complete now.
