Stella’s P. O. V.
I’m going for shopping with Zoe. We sit in the backseat, resting our hands on our baby bumps. It was our choice to marry on the same day, but it was God’s choice to make us pregnant together. But I’m loving it. Getting pregnant with your bestie is another kind of fun.
We laugh as we compare cravings, complain about swollen feet, and talk about our husbands, who bear our mood swings without a single complaint.
“You know,” I say between laughs, “my babies only get active when Alex kisses me or when we…” I pause with a smirk, lowering my voice, “You know… when we have sex.”
Zoe rolls her eyes. “Lucky you! My baby stays active all the time. I feel them moving all day long.” She rubs her belly with an exaggerated sigh. “And guess what? They’re active even now.”
I chuckle, shaking my head. “Well, they’re definitely taking after their mommy-always energetic and never sitting still.”
Zoe narrows her eyes in horror and turns her attention to her bump, caressing it. “No, no, little one. You’ve got to be the mini version of your daddy. Mommy is already enough for trouble for one household. You need to stay calm”
I burst out laughing, watching her dramatic plea.
Zoe raises an eyebrow at me, her pout making me laugh even harder. “What’s so funny?”
“Oh, just imagining your baby being the complete opposite of what you’re wishing for,” I tease, laughing louder.
She glares at me for a moment before grinning. “Then Sky has to handle two troublemakers.”
“Zoe, wouldn’t it be amazing if our babies became best friends like us?” I raise my brows at her.
“Of course. It’ll be so much fun seeing them growing together. We’ll make sure they become besties like us.”
I nod excitedly. “Yes… we’ll send them to the same school and come to meet each other every weekend.”
Still laughing, we arrive at the mall. The driver parks, and we step out. Resting hands on our baby bumps, we head inside.
The next few hours fly by as we purchase clothes, soft blankets, and adorable baby shoes. We also pick out some new outfits for ourselves since our old ones don’t fit anymore. To top it off, we even buy a few pieces of sexy lingerie to surprise our husbands.
After all, they truly deserve these kinds of surprises for taking such good care of us and handling all our craziness during this pregnancy.
“This,” Zoe holds up three same caps. “Two for your twins and one for mine. They’re going to look so cute together!”
As I imagine our babies sitting wearing the same caps, I grin, nodding. “Super cute. I’m so excited.”
We’re so engrossed in choosing baby clothes, I don’t even notice someone walking up behind me. Suddenly, a pair of warm arms wrap around my waist. A smile spreads across my face as I immediately recognise the touch. It’s Alex.
I spin around to face him and find him already smiling at me. “Hello, Flower.”
At the same time, Zoe shrieks, “Sky!” as he hugs her from behind, kissing her cheek.
Zoe turns to him, eyes wide. “How did you know we were here?”
Sky smirks, nudging his chin toward Alex. “Ask him.”
I chuckle, shaking my head. “That would be Alex’s doing.” I glance at him, and his grin widens. “My watch tracks my location, and he loves surprising me.”
“I love to see the look on your face when I do.” Alex leans down and slips his hands into my jeans pocket before brushing his lips softly against mine. So many years have passed since he started slipping his hands into my pockets. Something never changes.
As we continue shopping, Alex doesn’t leave my side. Every few minutes, he checks if I’m comfortable or need a break.
He holds my belly from behind when I see through the racks. His hands gently lift some of the weight from my bump, and I sigh in relief, leaning back against him.
“That feels so good.” I close my eyes for a moment as the strain on my back eases.
“I can’t carry them for you, but I can at least take some of the weight.” He murmurs in my ear, bringing a smile to my face. This man makes me feel so lucky to have him every single day.
I glance at him over my shoulder. “You spoil me too much.”
“Not enough, if you ask me.” He pecks on my cheek.
Beside us, I find Zoe giggling as Sky does the same, resting his hands on her belly, easing her discomfort.

“How about we head to that fancy restaurant downtown for dinner? You both deserve a proper meal after all this walking around.” Alex suggests after the shopping.
Zoe and I exchange a glance, and then, in unison, we shake our heads. “We’re starving.” I rub my belly. “We can’t wait that long. Let’s eat now. Here.”
“So let’s go to the food court.” Sky holds Zoe’s hands and leads her to the food court while Alex and I follow them.
We settle at a table while the men head off to bring snacks. Zoe and I start chatting about baby names, giggling at some of the silly ones we come up with.
Alex and Sky return with plates of sandwiches and fries, and as they set the plates down, I glance at the food and wrinkle my nose. “Actually… I think I’m craving something else now.” I give Alex an apologetic look.
Zoe nods in agreement. “Yeah, maybe something spicy. Or maybe sweet. I’m not sure.”
“No problem. We’ll bring something else,” Sky responds with a smile, but I feel guilty.
“Sorry…”
“It’s fine, Flower. It’s not a big deal.” Alex squeezes my hand.
“Thank you.” I smile at him.
“We’ll be right back.”
Then they both leave to bring something else.
After a minute only, while conversing, Zoe and I begin eating sandwiches and fries.
By the time the men return, carrying trays of spicy noodles and desserts, the plates of sandwiches and fries are almost empty.
Sky stops in his tracks, staring at the table in surprise.
Alex glances at me with his eyebrows raised. “You two already finished all of that?”
Zoe shrugs innocently, patting her belly. “What can we say? The babies were hungry.”
Sky sets the trays down, throwing his hands in the air. “Pregnant women are unbelievable.”
Alex sits beside me, shaking his head. “Pregnancy is a new level of chaos.”
I rest my head on his shoulder, laughing as I pop a fry into my mouth.
“But this journey is amazing. I really love to take care of you.” He pecks my head, and just like that, he steals my heart all over again.
