Her clothes scattered to the ground one by one. Finally, they fell onto the soft bed together.
Isabella was more proactive than usual, wrapping her arms around Andrew’s neck, kissing his neck, and trying to match his rhythm. And Andrew was more unrestrained than usual; the drawer of condoms quickly emptied.
Originally, Isabella had a meeting with the concert planner the next morning. However, she couldn’t even get out of bed until the afternoon.
She sat in Olivia’s car, still yawning incessantly.
“Isabella, could you please show some restraint?” Olivia said irritably.
“I’m already very restrained. Otherwise, I’d still be asleep now,” she said seriously.
Olivia: “…”
They arranged to meet at a Western restaurant in the city center.
Isabella followed Olivia into the private room.
It wasn’t until evening that she found time to return to her apartment. Asher had already bathed and was getting ready for bed. Seeing his mom come back, he excitedly hugged her and kept showering her with kisses.
She couldn’t bear to part with Asher. That night, she brought the little cub into the master bedroom and slept with him by her side.
Originally, she slept in the middle, Asher slept inside, and Andrew slept on the outside.
Just as the baby’s head touched the pillow, he suddenly sat up, grabbed the pillow, and said to Isabella, “Mommy, move over.”
Isabella, looking confused, scooted over, and then watched as the baby climbed over her and Andrew, throwing the pillow aside and lying between them.
“Go to sleep,” the baby said, closing his eyes contentedly.
Isabella looked at her son; he was simply too adorable.
Andrew looked at the extra little cub between him and Isabella, he helplessly held his forehead. Next time, it would be better to sleep at the villa, undisturbed. Then he can be as intimate with his girl as he wants.
The next morning, Isabella was scheduled to fly back to Rochester town.
Andrew personally drove her to the airport. Along the way, her head kept nodding on his shoulder as she dozed off. Asher was sleeping in a bad position, kicking the blanket incessantly. They hadn’t slept well last night while taking care of the child.
Andrew looked at the dark circles under her eyes and really wanted to tell her, “Why do you have to work so hard when I love you, cherish you, and provide you with a comfortable life? Isn’t that good enough?”
But he couldn’t say such words. Isabella was still young, her world was vast, and her stage was large. She would never revolve around just him.
His way of loving her shouldn’t be to confine her in his arms but to let her fly freely.
At the boarding gate, he half-hugged her and said, “Isabella, I’ll come to see you in two weeks.”
“Really?” Her eyes lit up when she heard that. “Andrew, will you have time?”
“In two weeks, I’ll visit an elder, not far from the film and television city. I can stop by to see you,” he said with a warm smile.
Even if he was just stopping by to see her, it would make her happy for a long time. She tiptoed and kissed his slightly cool lips.
“I’ll wait for you,” she said, grabbing her carry-on suitcase and running towards the boarding gate, her steps light.
He watched her disappear into the boarding gate before leaving with a smile.
Isabella had a morning flight and had to rush back to the set in the afternoon. That night, she had another scene with Emrys.
After working until past one in the morning, she was exhausted. When she returned to her hotel room, she removed her makeup and fell asleep immediately, forgetting to take off the face mask on her face.
The next few days were filled with tight filming schedules. Due to Emrys’ leg injury delaying the shooting progress, they had to catch up on some scenes hastily.
Isabella was busy every day, completely unaware that half a month had passed in the blink of an eye.
After finishing work one night, she collapsed on the sofa with a face mask on, too lazy to move another inch.
The doorbell rang, and Olivia thought it was a delivery person bringing supper, so she dashed to the door.
“Olivia, you can have supper yourself. I have no appetite,” Isabella said with her eyes closed.
After she spoke, there was no movement at the door. She instinctively looked up.
When she opened her eyes, she was surprised to see a magnified handsome face. She hastily removed the face mask and almost jumped off the sofa, hugging Andrew.
“Andrew, why are you here?!”
Her expression made Andrew chuckle slightly. He naturally wrapped his arm around her waist. “Did you forget our appointment?”
“Has it been half a month already?” She raised her hand to her forehead in disbelief. “I’ve lost track of time.”
He smiled warmly, habitually reached out to rub her head, and then glanced at Olivia, who was still standing at the door.
“Miss Olivia, I’ll need you to leave us alone tonight.”
“I know, I know. I promise not to disturb you,” Olivia said cheerfully as she left, tactfully closing the door behind her.
After the door closed, Andrew lowered his head, gazing deeply at her, and asked, “Isabella, did you miss me?”
“Of course,” Isabella nodded obediently.
“Where did you miss me?” His handsome face drew closer, a mischievous smile playing on his lips, and his warm breath falling on her delicate and sensitive cheek.
“I missed you everywhere,” she answered, blushing.
Before she could finish her sentence, his lips descended upon hers.
Her soft arms wrapped around his neck, and they kissed passionately, embracing each other.
