I could feel something burning inside me, pushing my door open. I bashed inside my room, slamming the door with force. It rattles on its hinges, and the sporadic beating of my heart scares me. I know what is coming in for me, it has been a long time since I last took that content that the witch mother gave to me.
I need that content, I felt burning flames inside me. My whole body ached as the pain kept striking and hitting me deeply, my eyes darkened and with a blank expression, my eyes glazed around my room thoughtfully as I tried to shake the restlessness in my heart.
My brow caressed in a deep frown as I tried to digest what just happened out there and the indefinite pain within me, the pain is getting harder at each passing minute and I knew the outcome if I ever allowed my emotions to surpass me at this very moment. I strived so hard to shove the image of Juliet at the back of my head, I can’t allow the power to come back again………. Not now that they all wanted nothing but my death, the fear of leaving Ryan crushes me.
I need to get that content, my body twitching trying to get me to move. Adrenaline pumped into my veins ceaselessly as I stood up trying to take a walk, the more I tried to avoid it the harder it becomes.
“Ahhh!!” I stumbled and held the wall to avoid falling into the cold floor. A cry escaped my lips forcing me to my feet as my once sluggish face turned sore and frustrated. I bit my lips to avoid any more noise, I don’t want to create any awareness or for anyone to have an idea of what is happening inside my room.
With parted lips, I started crawling towards the little wooden box where I kept the content. My whole body shivers and vibrates, I am constantly shaking as my hand felt clumsy due to nervousness and fear. I ran my hands through my hair repeatedly as I noticed that they have started growing little by little. It is no longer at the exact length which causes my eyes to go wide in shock. I ignored the aching pain in my heart and continued to speed toward the old wooden box.
The heavy stomps of my palms and knees echoed throughout the whole room vibrating in my sensitive ears, my eyes started changing a series of colors as my claws started coming out bit by bit.
The beating of my heart speeds up that I could hear the erratic and chronic beating of my heart. The persistent beating of my heart clouded my ear that I didn’t hear the cracking sound of my room door, the closed and footsteps approaching me still I couldn’t hear anything or felt anybody besides me.
Almost closer to the box, I smiled and stretched out my hands to open the box but the tap on my shoulder snapped me out of my head and caught me off guard. Veering around instantly a growl escaped my lips followed by the swipe of my sharp claws.
“Ahhh!!” A horrified and severe howl escaped from the person’s lips, a smirk slipped into my lips before it suddenly disappeared and was replaced with surprise when I noticed that it was no other person but Aria. My eyes widened in shock as I noticed the bricking of tiny blood trailing down her cheeks, pressing my lips together. I called her name with difficulty and a worried voice.
“A…. ria,”
“Gosh! Blood……” Aria said looking scared before she glances at me with a horrific stare.
“Sorry I didn’t know that it was you,” I suddenly apologized, looking down.
“What was that for? And besides, were you expecting anyone?” Aria questioned with a surprised stare.
“No! I wasn’t expecting anyone,” I shortly replied.
“Then what happened?” She asked.
“No! This shouldn’t have happened!”
“What is wrong with you Ashley? What do you mean that this shouldn’t have happened? Stop murmuring and talk to me, I am here to hear you out,” she assures with a worried tone.
The problem is how do I explain to her what I am passing through without implicating myself or my true identity?
“What happened wasn’t intentional, it shouldn’t have happened. Sorry I mean that it is not going to happen again, it is an accident……. I just feel restless and I don’t know why before you could ask,” I replied to her with hesitation. I don’t know why but I didn’t feel like lying to her and at the same time, I don’t know how to explain anything to her so I told the basis and not the deeper truth.
A deep frown settled on the skin in between my forehead as my lips pressed in more as the pain shots painfully within me. My eyes glazed again as something yearned within me to be released, shutting my eyes I struggled to control the pain. I felt my bones arching and ripping like they wanted to be released.
I felt my bone cracking and the need to shift become more current than before.
“Ashley your eyes and the…… the claws,” with trembling lips, Aria muttered when pointing toward my eyes and hands.
“Ahh!!” Striving to control the pain, it hits me so hard that I fall to my feet. Crying and growling in pain.
“Ashley!!” Aria ran towards me, holding me still. With gritted teeth, I snapped my eyes open.
“Your eyes!!” She stumbled and fall to the floor with a horrified look when crawling back quickly away from me. Her hand was half-covering her lips, she followed the direction of my eyes and noticed that I was staring at the wooden box. I fought to move toward the box but I couldn’t move or place my hands on them. My vision felt blurry and I couldn’t see anything or placed the exact place where the box was. The box appeared to be four in my eyes, it was swarming sideways as my head spins around.
At some point, I started hearing footsteps……… my heart sped up as I felt the person inch closer, I exchanged a look with Aria before she surprised me and rushed toward the box and yank it open, and brought out a small bottle.
“Tick……. Tick….. Tick,” the clicking of the person’s heels could be heard. Standing outside the room door, she holds the doorknob and twists. My heart weaved in panic as I gestured for Aria to give me the bottle, she stared at me and then back to the small bottle not knowing what to do. I shot her a pleading gaze to make a move, she looked startled and confused at the same time but before the person pulled the door open she smirked and ran towards me before shoving the content towards my mouth down my throat.
“Ahh!!” I clamored at the bitterness of the liquid, my throat burning as the door was instantly pulled open standing there was no other person but Bianca.
