Johnny?
How could he be here?!
Tilda didn’t have time to think, and she quickly grabbed Rosalind and tried to run inside.
She didn’t want to see Johnny, no matter the reason he came to find her.
But with Tilda’s short legs, how could she outrun Johnny?
After just a few steps, he grabbed her wrist from behind.
“Tilda, don’t run!” Johnny’s voice rang out.
Hearing Johnny’s voice, Rosalind finally understood why Tilda had pulled her and tried to run.
Just now, she was truly confused.
“Let go of me!” Tilda turned around and tried to push him away.
Johnny quickly released his grip and said, “I let go, I let go! Just don’t get worked up!”
In her anger, Tilda didn’t catch what he said, but Rosalind understood.
“Johnny, you shouldn’t have come. You’ve already broken up,” she deliberately probed.
“I… I just came to check on her. I didn’t mean to disturb her,” Johnny stammered.
He couldn’t find Tilda on his own and ended up seeking help from Ulric.
But Ulric agreed to help him but warned him not to say anything. Otherwise, Rosalind would know that he had sent someone to protect her.
“You’re already disturbing me now!” Tilda glared at him before pulling Rosalind to leave.
But Johnny followed them upstairs.
Rosalind knew that they needed some time alone to talk. An outsider like her couldn’t say much no matter how close she was to Tilda. So she said, “Tilda, I’m going back first. I think Johnny has something to say to you.”
“Don’t leave me! I have nothing to say to him!”
“Tilda! Didn’t you say it yourself? Let’s part on good terms.” Rosalind patted her hand and urged her not to get too emotional.
After all, there were still feelings between them.
Although it was hard for Rosalind to accept the fact that Johnny had a child with his ex-girlfriend, she believed that Tilda should inform Johnny about the decision to terminate the pregnancy.
Tilda was different from her. There was no deep hatred or resentment between her and Johnny.
“Rosalind!”
“Tilda, can I just have a few words with you?” At this moment, Johnny finally spoke up.
He had been standing downstairs for a long time. He wanted to smoke but was afraid that Tilda would feel uncomfortable with the smell, so he held back.
After holding back for a few hours, he still hadn’t figured out how to knock on her door and what he should say to Tilda.
He was afraid that his words would only make things worse!
“I have nothing to say to you. We’ve already broken up. Why did you come?” Tilda’s emotions were about to flare up, but Johnny quickly said, “Don’t be angry. I’ll leave. I’ll go downstairs right now! I’ll wait downstairs. If you want to talk to me, I’ll come back up. Is that okay?”
“I…”
“Go talk. I’ll go back first.” Rosalind pursed her lips and glanced at Johnny. “When you’re done talking, make sure you bring her back. It’s getting late. What if she falls…”
“Don’t worry! I’ll protect her!”
Rosalind was certain that he knew about the pregnancy now. She nodded and turned around, heading upstairs.
After Rosalind left, Tilda’s attitude towards him became even worse.
“Why did you come looking for me?! Johnny, can’t you accept the breakup?”
Johnny’s dark eyes fixed on her small face, and they remained locked in a stalemate for a few seconds before he sighed in resignation, “I admit it, I can’t accept it.”
