Chapter 724: Johnny Has the Right to Know

“How do you know everything?!”
Rosalind widened her eyes, looking at her, then at her belly, but couldn’t think of what to say.
“I’ve already made an appointment for an abortion. It’s three days from now, at nine o’clock in the morning. Will you accompany me?” Tilda pondered, realizing that Rosalind was the only one who could be there for her.
Let this child be treated as if it never existed.
She couldn’t be able to sacrifice her whole life for Johnny. She didn’t have the same reckless love for Johnny as Caroline did, nor did she have Ulric’s unwavering love as Rosalind did. She still had her own life to live.
As a single mother, she was not responsible for herself or her child.
“I definitely can’t let you go alone!” Rosalind said helplessly. “Does anyone else know? What about your parents?”
“I dare not tell them. They were already unhappy because of my breakup with Johnny. I’m afraid if I tell them, they will go to the Chow family! If Johnny finds out about my pregnancy, he definitely won’t let me have an abortion.”
The scary thing about Tilda was how clear-headed she was. She knew what she wanted and what she didn’t want. Even in matters that should require some deliberation, she could quickly weigh the pros and cons, even anticipating what came after.
Rosalind really admired her. She herself was somewhat indecisive, not as resolute as Tilda in matters of the heart.
“I think Johnny has a right to know.” Rosalind thought for a moment, then expressed her true thoughts. “His ex-girlfriend didn’t tell him about this, which led to the current situation. If you don’t tell him about your pregnancy… Johnny seems a bit pitiful.”
“What’s pitiful about him? I’m the one who has to undergo surgery that will harm my body!” Tilda grew angry thinking about it. “I never planned to have children, but he said we were already engaged, so we didn’t need to use condoms. If I got pregnant, we could just have the baby. He said he liked children, like Jake and Floyd.”
Rosalind pressed her lips together. She felt Tilda wasn’t wrong.
“Fine, I’ve already decided! You just need to accompany me, and don’t tell anyone.” Tilda paused for a moment before adding, “Including Ulric.”
Rosalind gave a somewhat bitter smile. “He went back to his parents’ place.”
“Is he getting his parents to deal with you together?”
“He wouldn’t.” Rosalind frowned and sighed lightly. “Besides, he’s already done more than enough for me.”
Tilda sighed along with her.

The car eventually reached Tilda’s apartment.
Without the two children, with just Rosalind, living here would be very suitable.
“Tilda, let me transfer the rent money to you.”
“Don’t be so polite! Or I’ll be angry.” Tilda moved to help carry her luggage.
Rosalind quickly stopped her. “No, I’ll do it myself! Be careful.”
She was a pregnant woman after all.
Tilda pouted. “What’s there to worry about? I don’t plan to keep it anyway.”
“Tilda, don’t say that. I know you’re deliberately saying this to strengthen your resolve in case you change your mind, but doesn’t it make you feel terrible?”
Rosalind walked over and patted her shoulder. “I’ll always be there for you, no matter what decision you make.”
“Thanks. You’re so good to me, Rosalind.”

Caroline never expected Mr. and Mrs. Chow to come to see her.
In the hospital room, she had just put her daughter to sleep when she saw them standing at the doorway.
There was no need to ask who they were because Johnny mostly inherited his mother’s beauty.
