Elijah P. O. V.
“Hey, stop laughing at me,” Jake tells me. I kept my hand over my mouth from stopping my laughing at my best friend. I kept my mouth shut when I am hearing him in the bathroom puking in the toilet. I can hear him in there puking I let out a laugh behind my hand.
“Oh, shut up!” Won’t you go to gym class!” Jake tells me off and leaves. So, I do with a shook of my head laughing walking out to the class.
Gym Class…
“Well, hello Mr. Woods, it’s nice for you to join us?” Miss Walters said. I want to look down because if I look at her, I puke.
“Yes, thank you, Miss Walters,” I said looking over at Avery. I can see she is blushing and trying not to stare at me.
“I am here Miss Walters!” I looked I see Jake my best friend running in the gym class. He stops beside me and Jayson and Eli my other friends. Sorry I was late; I didn’t feel very well” he tells her with a green face. He is staring at me with an irritated look on his face.
“Oh no, you okay Mr. Stone, do you need to go to the nurse’s office?” Miss Walters said to him.
“No ma’am Miss Walters, I am okay now” I am ready for class,” Jake tells her.
She looks at him and me. She doesn’t know what’s going on right now. That good to know. It would hurt her feelings. I don’t want to be in trouble with my parents and get detention after school either.
She nodded her head at us and went back to what she was doing.
“Okay class we going to go outside and run laps around the field.” She tells us. But you going to be team up with a running buddy.” She tells us.
“But before we do that. I need to call out names to see everyone is here.”

Here” I see Ashely raised her hand.
“Yeah of course that bitch is here,” Jayson said.
“Oh, stop it! we know you guys like each other’s.” I said with a smirk on my face.
“Shut up, dude.” No one heard you in Paris bro!”
He said getting irritated with me and Jake and Eli from laughing. He is looking around and he didn’t see her looking at him. Then he let out a growl. I look over at her and Avery Butch Anderson was talking to the girls and smiling at them. He’s the new student here. He is not a werewolf he is part of warlock and vampire. He is on the track team. He’s an okay guy but he needs to watch because Jayson and Eli growling out loud. They are staring at them laughing and talking.
“Hey, guys! Stop staring at them.” I tell him.
“Stop it! Miss Walters talking, and she is coming over towards us.” Jake said.
“Jayson Woods”
I am here he said with a growl. She looked at him and gave him a strange look.
“Sherry Stevens”
I am here she said with a giggle behind her hand. I look over her she is flirting with Bobby Anderson our friend on the football team.
“Booby Anderson”
“Here,” he said with a groan in his voice.
Natalie Steele”
“He-re,” she said with a blush on her cheeks looking over at Eli. She looked down.

he said licking his lips looking over at Natalie. She started hiding behind Butch’s friend. Eli didn’t like that. He was going to go over there if it wasn’t for Jayson grabbing his shoulder.
“No, Eli” “You can’t be getting in any fights,” I told him.
He didn’t pay attention to Jayson’s hand on his shoulder. But he did nod his head looking over at the dude and her.
“Fine!” He took a deep breath.” Eli said and I saw him breathe in and breath out.
Okay, the class now everyone here.” Let’s go outside.” Miss. Walters says and walks outside.
Outside…
I am running around the track when I saw Avery in front of me. Miss. Walters team me up with Emilia she keeps grabbing on my arm. I am trying to give us some space. But she kept holding on to me.
“Emilia, really, you can let me go,” I tell her trying to block her hands on my arm.
“Why I am your girlfriend Elijah baby,” she said pouting with a smug look on her face.
“No, you’re not” We not dating anymore, after I found out you were going to kill Avery” I don’t need a crazy girlfriend, doesn’t truth me,” I tell her with irritation in my voice.
“Oh, come on! Baby!” I wasn’t going to kill the nerdy bitch” I was going to chat with her.” I saw the look in her eyes. I want to protect Avery away from this sociopath girl.
She pouted after I told her how I feel about her. She went back behind me talking to her girlfriends. But I know her. She has a plan to hurt my mate. I think Emilia and Amelia have something up their sleeves. I and Jake have to watch out for our mate before something happened again to her.
An hour and a half…
Avery P. O. V.
I am standing inside the gym class and Bobby Anderson comes over to me. He starts smiling and walking towards me and my friends.
“Hey, Avery!” How is it going babe” he said with a wink? I heard a loud growl. I moved my head and looked over towards Elijah and Jake and their friends. I saw Jake and Elijah was anger. There is no way they cared about Bobby Anderson over here talking to me. Maybe it was the girls around us growling I was talking to one of the most gorgeous guys in our school. But that wish thinking. I hope Elijah and Jake are jealous for once. They had them, two girls, on their laps earlier when we were in the lunchroom.
I went back to the present.
“Oh, hey I am doing well Bobby, thanks for asking,” I tell him.
“You know Avery, you’re an incredibly beautiful girl.” How about we hang out at my party this weekend.” He asked me with a smug smile on his face. I don’t know I thought.
Hey, bring your friends too.” More the merry” he said winking and walking back over towards his friends. But he still standing close to us. I saw Natalie was blushing and hiding behind Bobby’s friend. I look over I saw Eli Wallace staring at them with his fist folding in his hands with an angry look on his face. I thought I saw his eyes turn dark.
That’s got to wait, Miss. Walters started name-calling. She called all our names, and she is telling us we have a teammate running around the track.
I got to team up with Jake Stone, the guy I had a crush on in my middle school years. But he doesn’t know that ha-ha. I laughed inside my head. I heard Angelstar and the voice in my head say. Stop doing that. People and Jake will think I am crazy lol. I rolled my eyes at them. I started running around the track.
Hold on!” Jake said. I didn’t want to see him, and he see my face all red and blushing because I am close to him. I don’t know what to say to him. He makes me nervous, and Elijah does too. So, I started running faster away from him.
“Avery” I felt him grab my arm. I turned around staring at the ground with red cheeks. Then he picked up my chin. He lifted my face.
“Hey, I was trying to ask how you been” he said staring at me with a concerned look on his face.
“I am doing great, thanks for asking.” I stared into his eyes when I replied to him.
Oh, okay, well did you think about what I asked you two weeks ago.” He said licked his lips staring at me.
I licked my lips. He followed my tongue come out and went back inside my mouth.
“Yes, I did. I don’t think so.” I said to him. Then I felt my chest. I grabbed hold of my arm, so he didn’t find out my chest was hurting. Then I saw his face. His eyes looked like they were turning red. I don’t know if he’s mad or going to cry.
“Why, do you want to date me, Jake?” I asked him when I folded my arms across over my chest.
Because I want to be your friend. and we can hang out sometimes.” What you say.” He asked me.
“Okay, I will be your friend.” If I found out this some kind of threat or joke.” I will never forgive you.” I tell him.
“Okay, he said with a smile on his face. I nod my head and start running at a slow pace so we can run together around the track. But what I don’t know is. This day doesn’t get weirder. Oh, no, there more to it of Jake wants to be my friend.
