Avery P. O. V.
“Well, I am glad you’re doing well baby girl,” My father said. Yeah, dad” I am fine.” I tell him. But the guys are still here. I need to get them out of here. Before I make a fool of myself in front of them. But I can’t be mean to them like they were to me over the years. So, I did the one thing I wouldn’t do. I went to sit down in front of them. Ashely and Natalie thought that was crazy.
Because they gave me a confused look on their face. I am so nervous to be around the guys. This morning Jake Stone wanted to fake date me, and now he is staring at me with care and want in his eyes. I thought he just wanted to fake our relationship to keep me safe from his psychopath sister and others. But now I am watching him and his body language. I do really think he wants me for real this time to be his girlfriend. But how can I be someone else who is not my mate? I am old-fashioned because I am saving myself for my mate. There is no way he and Elijah is my mate.
Jake P. O. V
Oh God, she is so lovely and beautiful. But right now. I am not paying attention to her body language or how she is giving me a confused look on her face. She probably wondering why and Elijah is here at her house. I can’t wait to tell her I am her mate, but for now, I must be patient until her nineteen birthdays. So, I hit Elijah on his shoulder and told him to stop freaking out everyone around us. Because he keeps giving Avery a crazy look in his eyes. He stops and turns towards me.
“What was that for?” He said with his mind.
“You need to stop staring at Avery like that.” You’re going to give us away.” I told him with a serious expression on my face. He didn’t say anything in our minds, but he did stop giving her a crazy want look in his eyes. She started coming over and sitting in front of us with her parents.
“That would not have stopped me if I wanted to grab her”, Elijah said in my mind with a chuckle. I rolled my eyes at him inside my mind. It’s strange our wolf is gone. I wonder where mine went to. By the time I said that. I heard my wolf howling and moaning. What in the world. I know I am not the only one who heard it in my mind. I look over at Avery she has a red tint on her cheeks.
Then I see her lick her lips and wiggle in her seat. Then I look over at Elijah and he is staring at Avery with the desired expression on his face and a knowing grin on his face. If I think about what my wolf Ax doing. I got the idea he is having sex with our mate’s wolf.
“Well, I am trying to, if you shut up.” My wolf said in my mind. He said with an annoying tone.
“Yeah, man!” I am trying to get our mate relaxed and ready” So, shut up.” I heard another wolf inside my mind. I think it’s Elijah’s wolf. Because I only have one wolf.
“Sorry man” My wolf Axel can be open-minded.” He tells you how it is.” Elijah says.
Okay, we leave you alone” Don’t hurt her.” I told my wolf. I can’t believe I am mated to a girl that has one or more mates. I guess that is what going to be. I am not alone to fall in love with Avery my Luna and my Mate. But when I look over at Avery sitting across from me and Elijah, I can see her eyes. They are dark and I see the expression on her face. Desire.
Because that is how I am feeling right now. I want her and I need her. I look over at Elijah he is thinking the same thing that I am feeling about Avery my angel and his wallflower.
Avery P. O. V.
“Mate,” I kept hearing in my mind. Why I am hearing mate repeatedly in my mind. That was when I realized Angelstar wasn’t alone. She had two big wolves in our mind that was well you know getting her ready to be mated. I felt hot and wanted. I don’t want to feel this way especially in front of the guys and my family and friends. I am trying to calm my body and heart. I know if they could see and hear my heart beating, they would know what is going on. I would be embarrassed right now. I know they can see my cheeks are red.
Elijah P. O. V.
“Well, I don’t know you about I think it time for us to leave,” I told them.
I see Jake staring at Avery if he doesn’t stop it. We going to be found out by Avery and her parents and her friends. Right now, is not the time. So, Jake listened to my mind, and he got up and bowed to her parents and grabbed Avery’s hand and kissed it.
“I see you around Avery” Let me know what you thought I asked you earlier this morning.” He told her. She blushed and looked away and shook her head at him.
“I will,” she tells him with a shy smile on her face. He nodded and winked and walked out the door. So, it was my turn. I tell her parent’s bye. I walk over to Avery she licks her lips nervously. I tell her if she needs me. I will be here” I told her, and I winked and walked out the door. When I walked out, I heard her friends ask her.
“What in the world was that” They didn’t know I was still close to the door. I heard Avery.
“I don’t know either but all I know I felt something weird happen with them,” she said to her friends. I shook my head with a chuckled. That was when I saw Jake waiting for me.
“Why didn’t we tell them “He asked. “They need to know that we are her mate.”
“We should have told them and her why we were here?” Jake said.
I know but did you see her.” I don’t think she would listen and believe us.” She would think he is playing a trick on her.” I told him. So, no we didn’t tell her. We have to wait until she is ready to believe we want her as our mate.” I tell him.
So, we start walking back over to my house. Before we did, I felt this strange pain in my head. I knew it wasn’t me. I knew it was my mate. She has been having these awful headaches ever since she found out about the voice in her head.
So, I look over at Jake. I know he can feel it too. But we need to give her space before we ruined everything. So, he can’t go over there and run in there and tell her and know something is wrong. Like her headaches. So, she thinks we are crazy and nuts if we run in and break down the door to get to her.
