Amanda’s POV
I took one last look at the black moon pack before I left. A revenge was all I craved and which ever way I was going to get it. I got into the car. Arya would never see me coming.
“East high pack please”
Very well ma’am”
6 hours later I had arrived dead in the night. I begged a woman and she let me stay at her place. By tomorrow morning I had enrolled to be a maid in the alpha’s palace. All I had to do was show him I knew a lot about Alpha Chase and Arya and my revenge will be set on motion.

“Girls!” I jumped. And so did the other girls.
“What are you doing standing there?” a stern looking woman scolded us. If she said her middle name was no nonsense, I wouldn’t doubt her.
She walked right in front of us and looked out. Probably to see what we were looking at. A frown marred her face when she saw nothing. It was the alpha’s car. It was sleek and fine. but that wasn’t the only thing fine.
Nobody told me Alpha Jake was so good looking. Wow this was going to be fun.
“Follow me” she ordered and walked off. We followed her immediately like little lambs. She was like a bully in high school. Like the princess of prim and proper. Her stilettos made those noises that signaled that she was in charge.

“And this is the maid\staff area” she stopped in front of a room with big doors. She opened the door and went in. it was gigantic and had little cute lockers. Standing there reminded me of how I felt as I stared at the house, before we got in. The long ass automated doors. The long glass windows. The beautiful lightening and the glass floors. Everything screamed of affluence. At some point it was intimidating. Well what did I expect? It was a billionaire house.
“My name is Miss. Daniel and I am the house manager. Listen up girls-she walked past us like a soldier in a parade ground- to work here there are rules. So this is where you would be most of the times. You are not to be loitering the Mansion or anywhere you are not assigned to. You are not to speak unless spoken to. You are to do the cleaning mostly, when the owners of this house are not around. You are not to take anything from the kitchen unless given. You shall not speak to the owners of the house, no matter what. And lastly do your job diligently or else you see yourself outside the door” I nodded. I had my ways.
” get changed into your uniforms immediately” she stared at us like we the earth’s dirt.
I was finding it difficult picking my jaw off the floor, as she took us on a tour around the palace. I think it was way better than the one in the black moon pack.
I even caught myself wishing my parents were this rich. It was 10 bedroom duplex. It was like divided into two parts. One was warm and royal and the other was white. Clinical white. Less furniture and modern. It was said that, side of the house was for Andre. It was one of the requests he made before he agreed to move to Arizona from England.
We were 7 maids in total. We were to work every day asides our off days. It was okay for me. As long as I was getting paid and I could get yi seduce alpha Jake, I was good. After a few cleaning, we went back to the locker
” oh. My. God, did you see his hair” a girl on dirty blonde said. She had this look, like dreamy eyes. I was surprised on the fact that she wasn’t even paying attention to the house manger.
” I wonder who his mate is” another said.
” yeah I bet” another replied.
“Who?” the girl who was friendly to me asked.
” who else. Alpha Jake.” they replied.
Mate? He had a mate? Oh dear this screams of trouble.

Paper in my hand, pencil tucked behind my ears, I paced the locker room. By then the girls were in the garden.
“hi sir I am Amanda- I look through the paper- no that’s bad, I don’t think he needs to know my name” I whine. I clear my throat.
“hi sir I …” I turn when the door to the locker room opens and it’s the blonde friendly girl from earlier.
” hi” she smiled.
“Hello” I smiled and continued pacing the room.
” emm are you okay? What are you doing?” she asked.
“yes” I say immediately. She continued to stare at me. ” No” I say immediately. She raised an eyebrow and as if on cue, we burst into laughter.
” oh thanks I needed that laughter” I said as I wiped a tear off my eye.
” you are welcome sweet” she smiled at me. ” so tell me, what’s wrong?”
I asked her to seat and told her how I want to meet the alpha yo help me pay my father’s hospital bills. They said Alpha Jake was kind to the maids but another truth was that he kept them to keep him busy at night.
She gasped. “shit”
I nodded.” So I am trying to compose something.”
She took in a deep breath. ” alright, you don’t have to panic, for all we know, he might not be all that bad”. I stare at her. ” okay its bad” she said in a dead serious voice and we burst out laughing.
Its not funny” I whined but still laughing.
Suddenly the door and a girl came in. she walked to a corner.
” I hope I didn’t interrupt anything” and we shake our head. I didn’t say anything as we patiently waited for her to leave.
” okay I overheard you guys and I want to help” she said immediately. I and the blonde haired girl shared a look.
” what part?” the blonde haired girl asked.
“everything”
“Okay” I muttered. ” How would you help me?”
The girl stared at my dress and smirked. ” If you want to meet the alpha, you need to lose all your clothes”
“What?” I gasped.
” Yes he’s hard to please and attract”
