Arya’s POV
“Hmm, so what then happened?” Kelsi asked. Her eyes danced with a familiar look I was now used to whenever she was excited.
“Hmm, babe, you know I’m not a very good liar, so I’ll tell you everything.” I smiled.
So I began to tell her how I had the most mind-blowing and body-shaking sex ever with Chase. In all my life, I have never had beautiful sex. At least now I can agree with everyone that make-up sex is the best sex.
Chase used his hands and lips on my body to tell me how he had truly missed me and how I still mean the world to him. I was the happiest person. It is and will always be the best time in my life.
After we had the best sex, we began to talk about us. It was healing and beautiful.
“Wow, it was really something. I have always told you that Chase was different than all the others.” She held my hands as we crossed the road back to the office.
“Yeah, you said that.” I blushed as I remembered our time together. Kelsi always had a nose of sniffing good men. She was the one that matched made our accountant and her husband.
“So tell me, did you apologize for how you allowed your jealousy to ruin something so beautiful?” She said, giving me a fake dagger stare. I laughed. She looked so much like a little cartoon character that was cute.
“Yes, I did. I said sorry in many ways.” I said, biting my lips.
“Oh really?” she said, and I playfully hit her arm.
“Okay, Kels, this is what happened. After we had made love, I lay in his arms and told him how he made my life way better, and I would trade nothing in the world to have him again in my life. I was also told that I have not been a good a girlfriend and If he would give me another opportunity, I would correct that behavior, well- I smiled like an idiot – before I found finish my little speech, Chase grabbed me and began Kissing me like crazy” Kelsi interrupted me.
“Oh please, I have had enough of your love relationship, girl.” Kelsi closed her ears, and I began to laugh. I tried to open her ears as we fell over in laughter.
“So wait, have you told him about not wanting to have your coronation as Luna?” Kelsi asked. I nodded, smiling.
“So what did he say?” Kelsi asked, raising her eyebrows. It was like that whenever she wanted answers.
“He said he would wait for me as long as I wanted,” I said. As I lied, I resolved to talk to Chase later on. He has to know. I needed time to think about certain things. I mean I needed an answer. Like how or why he wanted me in the pack and other things about him.
“Awww,” Kelsi said.
“He sure is a sweetheart,” I said, smiling like an idiot
As I sat in my office, I sighed deeply. With a big smile plastered on my face, and for the first time in a very long time, I could agree with the fact that I was really happy. I haven’t been like this for a while.
As if that was not enough, Kelsi snuck into my office.
“I have news, babe, “she turned around in my office as if to check if someone was watching her.
“Come on, Kels, what’s up? Why are you behaving like a mouse?” I laughed.
“Ssshh, be quiet. This is certified and true gossip. I just heard that your archenemy will be fired tomorrow,” she said, looking around.
“My arch enemy? Who’s that?” I asked as I cracked my head.
“Who else but Amanda?” she said. Immediately, my interest was awoke. That maid of Chase was doing more than enough to keep me way and when she saw we were together, she became pissed. Chase relieved her of her duties, and he found her a job in the company.
“Yes, I can see your invincible antenna sit up,” she said.
“Just spit it out,” I said.
“Alright, I heard just now from the Manager’s office how she tried to seduce a guy with a mate at the office, and when he didn’t agree, she decided to report him to HR for groping her.”
“What!? That’s sick. That is utter desperation,” I said.
“Wait, let me finish. So the office began to investigate, and when they were about to call the guards, some CCTV footage came out, and they saw that Amanda had been lying,,” Kelsi said.
“Oh my gosh!” I clasped my hands over my mouth. “She went too far. I mean, that is evil,,” I said.
“Yeah, your suspicion had always been correct. She was a social climber,” Kelsi said, and I nodded. I remembered the first day I saw Amanda. She wore a very beautiful smile as she was trying to get acquainted with everyone. Then, suddenly, she stopped talking to people and hot friends real quick with the high profile people in both companies.
She portrayed herself as someone who was cheerful and lovely, but I could see through her.
“Now, this is the hilarious one. She submitted her resignation last week Friday because she didn’t want to be fired,” Kelsi said, laughing.
“Well, that’s good. Let’s just say the trash took itself out,” I said, and Kelsi playfully hit my arm.
So the rest of the day went fast, but it was enjoyable. Between stealing glances at Chase as I passed by his office for a meeting and him throwing me kisses in the air. It was really beautiful. He came to company these days.
The day ended, and I packed my things to go home when I got a call from an unknown number.
“Hello,” I said as I raised my eyes as if the person on the other side of the phone could see me.
“Babe… elm Arya you good?” It was then that my confused face turned into smiles. I immediately knew who it was, but I decided to play dumb.
“Please, who am I speaking with?” I said. I tried so hard to act uninterested, but I knew I was doing badly.
“It’s me, Chase… emmm, can I come over this night?” He asked.
“Emmm, o, h sure, e” I said. I Hope my happiness wasn’t so obvious with my voice.
I packed my bags and immediately said goodbye to Kelsi. I went and cleaned up my room for the night. Then I got my sexy lingerie and some other things readily. It was going to be fun.
