“Get dress, we found a priest”
I started getting dressed.
My wedding day, I can’t believe that I used to fantasized about Christian and I getting married, I wouldn’t want many guests…. Hell I didn’t even have any friends except Blue and he knew thousands of people and the entire world knows his name yet I wonder if he really trusts anyone apart from me, Wayne and Kylee.
They were the only people I really knew that were friends with him. The others were nuisances that fought their way into his life.
Like Adeline, Tina… Elisa.
“You look so beautiful” Solis said, tears slipped past my eyes and he beckoned on me to come so he would wipe them away when he was the one that causes them.

I stood in the altar.
Solis was unhinged. He was either not scared of anything at al including Christian and the devil or he simply didn’t know who Christian was. When Ruiz told me that Solis would not bother to search online for who Christian was, I didn’t believe him until I stood in the altar, facing hundreds of guests.
All, I didn’t know.
I felt ache in my belly and I patted the spot. The church was big, a Catholic church. Too many candles, if the place was a little bit darker I would say it was a gothic church, worshiping some satanic deity.
People were smiling at me as if I really signed up for this. Under my veil, I was crying.
“Miss…”
I turned to the priest and he was looking at me expectantly. He said something and didn’t get it.
“Do you, Jenna take Solis Gonzalez as your lawfully wedded husband?”
The entire place went deadly silent… They weren’t speaking before but it was as if they turned to the volume to zero.
“Miss”
The priest said again.
I didn’t realise I had turned away from him to look at the crowd.
I took a step back, Solis’s face was etched in anger.
“I’m sorry” I whispered but my voice echoed loud enough for the people in front to hear and they gasped.
“You will marry me!” Solis whisper yelled, he looked like he really wanted to hurt me.
For the first time since I met him, I was truly scared. And you would think that I was supposed to feel safe in a crowd of people.
“Say yes” he said through gritted teeth.
Dear god, please save me, I’m in a church damnit!!
The doors bursted open, it was like a fucking bang, a small bomb.
Everybody’s head whipped to the direction. Solis’s men sprang out o the crowd and I watched in sheer horror as they dropped dead one by one.
Immediately the gunshots registered, everybody scattered. I was fixed on the spot without options to run.
“Sit!”
Someone yelled. Is that Wayne?
My mouth opened as I threw off the veil that was covering my face. I made out the figures… They were all wearing black ultra military style.
My heart was thumping wildly in my chest as the crowd began to rush to any seat they could find. In front of them all was my… My Christian.
“Christian” I whispered, relief crashed into me like a trailer.
I watched Christian, he stood there frozen, staring at me and it was just me and him in the entire world.
Everybody else faded.
He was… Different.
His midnight black hair was longer and tied backwards in a ponytail. He looked taller, more muscular. Was it possible to undergo this much changed in two months.
The crowd was waiting, watching us.
I took a step towards him but Solis caught me first and pressed the cold barrel of a gun to the side of my head.
“If I can’t have you, then he’s not having you either”
Dread filled Christian’s eyes and tears blurred my vision. Solis pulled the trigger and once I heard the click, I thought I was dead. But I was very much alive.
I opened my eyes to see the fear in Solis’s eyes. It could only mean on thing, the bullet got stuck.
Before I could react, Christian was already into Solis and barely two feets away from me. One plop and there was a pretty crimson hole between his eyebrows. His eyes was drawn backwards.
The crowd howled and cried but they didn’t dare stand up. They were too scared. Even the priest was planted in the spot.
Christian turned to me, his beautiful face was filled with relief and love and so many things. He hugged me and I collapsed on him.
I couldn’t believe it, I just couldn’t.
He pulled out of the hug and stole my breath away with a kiss. His cheeks were damp with both of our tears. I loved him to death.
He turned to the priest.
“Finish it”
Even I didn’t know what he was asking for but the priest understood.
“What’s your name?”
“Christian Faust”
I raised a brow, he changed his name.
“Do you Christian Faust take Jenna to be your lawfully wedded wife?”
“I do”
“Jenna, do you take Christian Faust as your lawfully wedded husband?”
“I do” I said without hesitation.
“I now pronounce you man and wife, you may kiss your bride ”
I couldn’t believe it.
Christian leaned in and kissed me. When he pulled out, he cupped my face and kissed me all over again.
I felt electricity thrumming from where our lips touched down to my entire body.
He leaned in and carried me outside to his car.
I leaned into his chest and he held me firmly, I didn’t want to leave and I didn’t want him to leave. It felt like home and it was as if I was taking a breath for the first time in years.
“How do you feel? Are you alright, what did that bastard do___”
“I’m fine ”
More tears slipped past my eyes and he kissed them away.
“I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have left”
“Baby, Jenna, don’t apologize, please “I cleaned the tears and shook my head.
“What if you didn’t find me?”
“I did, I always will. I’m sorry it took so long”
“How did you find me?”
“The hospital. Your hair?”
“He liked my hair shorter, I guess”
He was silent for a moment.
“You’re never leaving my sight again, ever”
“Christian, I have news for you”
“Tell me baby?”
“I’m carrying triplets”
