A half-meter high rock was launched like a cannonball, knocking over the thug charging with a knife.
This brute strength instantly intimidated dozens of thugs, even causing Darnell’s eyelids to twitch twice. This old guy was more formidable than last time.
“Old man, you dare to hurt my brother?”
A bald man leading the group turned pale, then pressed his hands down forcefully and shouted, “Kill him.”
Tonight was supposed to be a lesson for Darnell, but Toby unexpectedly appeared.
He had no idea who Toby was, but after seeing him attack his men and hearing Darnell’s shout earlier, the bald man assumed Toby was Darnell’s ally. Without hesitation, he ordered his men to strike.
Whether it was one or two, it was all the same to them.
Dozens of thugs raised knives and clubs, shouting loudly, “Kill him, kill him.”
Toby seemed oblivious to their threats, his expression cold and fierce as he walked towards the crowd, his steps unwavering yet slightly trembling.
“Go quickly! Don’t worry about me,” Darnell shouted at Toby, then watched the scene unfold with a smirk. Why not use him when available?
Areli looked at Darnell disdainfully, shocked by this bastard’s shamelessness.
The thugs hired by Lisa and her group had been fighting fiercely for years, possessing some skills. They swarmed forward in a spectacular scene.
In the bald man’s view, his men should ensure victory against either Toby or Darnell.
But what happened next petrified everyone.
“Whoosh!”
Toby suddenly leaped forward with astonishing speed and extended his left hand without expression.
The movement wasn’t too fast nor visibly aggressive, but when he punched the foremost person, the horrifying effect was immediate.
“Bang!”
The leading yellow-haired thug was sent away by Toby’s punch, flying up and crashing into his companion behind him like a cannonball.
Chaos ensued.
The bald man’s face was full of disbelief. He hadn’t anticipated Toby being so domineering.
Darnell glanced at Areli beside him with a playful smile as if asking, “Isn’t this show exciting?”
Areli’s eyes were wide open. The old man was incredibly strong!
“Ouch, ouch!”
Five thugs along with their weapons were flipped by Toby’s punch, struggling desperately but unable to rise again.
Though surprised by Toby’s amazing combat power, the remaining people were incited by bloodlust and charged forward with full force.
“Kill!”
Killing intent instantly filled the air.
Over twenty fierce men wielded steel pipes, machetes, and daggers.
“Hmph!”
The next second, even the bald man sensed a beast-like aura. Then he saw Toby sneer coldly, his narrow eyes tightly squinting.
His entire being suddenly exuded a violent aura. His bald head and smooth eyebrows further accentuated his ferocious presence.
Over twenty people surged forward together.
Toby remained unmoved, his expression cold as ever while his steps were still elusive and his agility beyond belief.
“Bang!”
He moved incredibly fast, instantly sidestepping in front of one person’s chest and striking swiftly to send him flying into a van with shattered ribs and immediate unconsciousness.
Then came the second one.
The third one…
Toby struck ruthlessly without hesitation. His speed was astonishingly fast with precise forceful blows. His hands landed on people like mountains collapsing and ground splitting.
In less than five minutes, over ten fierce thugs were all thrown against walls with injured necks and completely incapacitated for combat.
“You-”
Their opponent didn’t directly kill them but crippled them instead-a message unwelcome to the bald man indeed.
If someone died here today, compensation could settle matters quickly enough. However, his men were only badly injured. That meant he, Lisa, along with those other rich kids, would have to take care of them for life-a major hassle indeed!
With unstoppable momentum, Toby advanced boldly, still extending only one right hand.
A fist shot out!
Boom!
The force of the punch was fierce!
Crack!
A crisp snapping sound rang out. One man grunted, blood spurting from his mouth and nose as he staggered back before collapsing in furious despair.
Beside him lay a broken machete.
The attacking thugs fell one after another, their blood staining the cold ground. The remaining dozen charged forward.
Though Toby was unstoppable, seeing his comrades fall one by one fueled their grief and rage, driving them forward without hesitation.
Toby remained unimpressed. Once he struck, he showed no mercy.
He flung each charging thug aside, sending them crashing onto the ground or into cars.
The injured either had broken spines or shattered limbs-yet Toby remained untouched.
Only after taking down the last of them did he cough twice, clearing the scent of blood from his nose.
Darnell sighed inwardly, “Toby really is a monster.”
He had enough time to flee now. He trusted his driving skills could lose Toby-but that would only be a temporary fix.
He could escape here, but not Bauhinias Residences or Spectrum Pharmaceuticals. To keep Areli safe, he had to face Toby directly.
He even considered killing Toby-the only permanent solution-but he wasn’t entirely confident. Toby’s strength matched his own.
Five minutes later.
Thirty-one violent thugs lay on the ground. None screamed or groaned-all were unconscious without exception.
The bald man didn’t run, but the arrogance on his face had dimmed. He hadn’t expected Toby to be such a freak of nature.
As Toby licked a trace of blood from his lips, the bald man cleared his throat and struck without a word-his moves ruthless.
When Toby closed in, the bald man swung his blade with savage force-only for Toby to sidestep and send the weapon flying.
A sharp tug threw the bald man off balance, but he used the momentum to lunge at Toby.
Toby’s expression remained calm. He bent his knees slightly, then shot forward like a cannonball, slamming into the bald man!
The bald man’s face twisted in fury. Though unsteady, his instincts kicked in. He threw a punch of his own, aiming straight for Toby’s chest.
He wasn’t defending. He was fighting to mutual destruction.
A flicker of tension crossed Areli’s face.
Toby’s eyes stayed cold. He was unmoved by the suicidal attack, his strikes growing faster.
Their fists crossed paths-each hurtling toward the other’s chest.
In an instant, the tide of battle shifted!
