Kamrynn’s POV
I woke to the soft golden light of morning filtering through the curtains, the scent of fresh pine and dew drifting in from outside. The warmth of Calvin’s arms was wrapped around me, and for a moment, I just lay there, savoring the peacefulness of the moment.
I knew we had a big day ahead. Rmonica had mentioned yesterday that she would be throwing a party to celebrate our stay at Blue Bell, and knowing her, it wouldn’t just be a small gathering. She’d been excited about it, despite being heavily pregnant, and I’d learned by now that once Rmonica set her mind on something, there was no stopping her.
Reluctantly, I slipped out of bed, careful not to wake Calvin, and made my way to the bathroom to get ready. By the time I was showered and dressed, Calvin was awake, leaning lazily against the headboard with that sleepy, satisfied grin that I couldn’t tell why but made my heart skip a beat.
“Good morning, Luna,” he teased, his voice rough from sleep.
I flushed, thinking back to last night, to the way he’d asked me to be his Luna right before slipping that paper ring onto my finger. The memory made my chest warm, and I reached out to brush his messy hair off his forehead.
“Morning, Alpha,” I teased back.
We lingered for a few more minutes, just enjoying the quiet intimacy, but soon, there was a knock at the door, and Rmonica’s voice floated through the wood.
“Kamrynn! Calvin! Don’t tell me you’re still in bed! You’ve got a party to get ready for, and I need my daughter to look her best!”
I laughed, shaking my head as I stood up and opened the door. Rmonica stood there with a wide grin, her round belly prominent under her flowing dress. Her cheeks were flushed, and she was practically glowing with excitement.
“Good morning to you too, Rmonica,” I said with a smile, but even as I greeted her, my mind drifted to the twins.
“How are our little minions?” I asked, peeking past her, half-expecting to hear the sound of coos or tiny cries trailing behind her.
“Oh, don’t worry about them,” Rmonica said with a laugh, catching the look on my face. “They’re still fast asleep in my room. Those little angels didn’t stir all night, and I’ve already fed them this morning. They’ll be up and ready to join the festivities later.”
A wave of relief washed over me, and I let out a breath I hadn’t realized I was holding. No matter how much I trusted Rmonica, it still felt strange being away from the twins, even for one night.
“Thank you for watching them,” I said sincerely.
“Of course, dear,” she said, waving me off like it was nothing. “Now, no time for pleasantries! We’ve got work to do! The guests will be arriving in a few hours, and I want everything to be perfect.”
By midday, after spending some time with Astor and Arabella, Calvin and I finally made our way to the grand hall. The twins had been in Rmonica’s care since last night, and even though I’d checked on them earlier, it still felt good to scoop them up and hold them in my arms again.
Astor giggled happily as I kissed his chubby little cheek, his tiny fists waving in the air, while Arabella nuzzled against my shoulder with a soft sigh. They were only three months old, but every day, they seemed to grow a little more, their personalities blooming right before my eyes.
“Are they behaving?” I asked, glancing at Rmonica, who was sitting nearby with her hand resting protectively over her round belly.
“They’re perfect,” she said with a warm smile. “Just like their mama.”
I laughed, bouncing Astor gently on my knee. “I think they get most of their charm from Calvin.”
“Maybe,” Rmonica teased, “but the stubbornness? That’s all you.”
I laughed again, shaking my head as I handed Astor back to her and kissed Arabella’s forehead. Calvin and I had a party to attend, but knowing our babies were in good hands made it easier to step away.
When we finally reached the grand hall, I was stunned by how beautiful everything looked. Rmonica had truly outdone herself.
The decorations were simple but elegant, with delicate floral arrangements on the tables and twinkling lights strung along the walls. It was exactly the kind of intimate, welcoming atmosphere that reflected the spirit of Blue Bell. Lorien was already present, with his arms around Lysaa, inspecting the place as if he wanted to make it danger proof. His knack for being extra was probably one of the qualities that made him endearing.
Only a small group of pack members had been invited-a handful of warriors, a few elders, and some of the palace staff-and as Calvin and I walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and excited waves. Kyven and Thalia were even sending winks our way. This wasn’t just a party; it was a celebration of family, of home, and of everything we’d overcome to get here.
“Looks like everyone’s happy to see us,” I said, smiling as I spotted familiar faces in the crowd.
“Of course, they are,” Calvin replied, his hand resting lightly on the small of my back. “You’re their Guardian.”
I couldn’t argue with that and though there was no time to perform my duties as Guardian, not with me becoming Calvin’s Luna, I’ll forever be grateful that I was chosen. The people of Blue Bell had believed in me even when I doubted myself. That moment would be forever engraved in my heart.
The party was in full swing, with food, drinks, and laughter filling the air. Calvin and I were standing near one of the long tables, chatting with Rmonica and a few of the warriors, when it happened.
At first, it was just a small commotion-a scrape of chairs, a few gasps-but it quickly grew louder, and within seconds, the entire room had gone quiet.
I turned toward the source of the noise and saw Franklin frozen in place near the edge of the room. His eyes were wide, locked onto someone standing near the serving table.
Amara.
She was standing perfectly still, holding a tray of drinks, her expression one of shock as she stared right back at Franklin.
And then, as if on cue, they both said it at the exact same time.
“Mate.”
The word rang out clear and certain, and for a moment, no one moved. It was as if the entire room was holding its breath.
Then, like a dam breaking, the silence shattered, and the room erupted in cheers and applause.
Franklin and Amara stepped toward each other, their eyes never leaving one another. I watched, my chest tightening with happiness, as Franklin gently reached out and took Amara’s hand in his.
The applause grew louder, and I couldn’t help but laugh as I watched Franklin pull Amara into his arms, holding her like she was the most precious thing in the world.
“They’re perfect together,” I said, leaning into Calvin’s side as he wrapped his arm around my waist.
“They are,” he agreed, smiling down at me. “Looks like Franklin found his happily ever after. I’m glad because he deserves it, he’s a better friend and Beta than I could have ever asked for.”
“I couldn’t have said it better,” I said softly, resting my head against his shoulder. “I wish them all the happiness in the world.”

After the excitement over Franklin and Amara finding each other had settled down, Alpha Orion stepped forward to quiet the crowd. His presence, commanding yet warm, immediately drew the room’s attention. Standing proudly beside him was Rmonica, who had been smiling non-stop since the celebration began.
“Before we wrap up for the day, we’d like to hand things over to Alpha Calvin of the Obsidian Pack,” Orion announced, his deep voice steady. He nodded at Calvin, his respect clear.
As murmurs quieted, Calvin stepped up onto the small stage, his hand resting lightly on the small of my back as I followed him. His authoritative presence, as always, had an effortless way of commanding attention, but I felt no nerves this time. The Blue Bell Pack wasn’t just any gathering of werewolves-they were old friends, practically family.
“Thank you, Alpha Orion, Luna Rmonica, for hosting such a beautiful celebration,” Calvin said, his voice carrying easily through the hall. He turned toward the crowd with a nod, and I watched as the guests gave him their full attention, their gazes open and warm.
“We’re honored to be here with all of you tonight,” he continued. “And while we’ve already had plenty to celebrate, Kamrynn and I have something special we’d like to share.”
I took a deep breath, stepping forward slightly. The Blue Bell Pack had been a second home to me, and now, standing before them, I felt nothing but love and gratitude.
“First of all, we just want to thank everyone for making this night so incredible,” I said, smiling. “And with that in mind, we’re excited to announce that in a few days, we’ll be holding my official Luna ceremony back in the Obsidian Pack. It would mean the world to us if you’d all join us for that celebration.”
A brief silence hung in the air before the room erupted in cheers and applause. Calvin grinned down at me, his eyes filled with pride, and I felt a rush of warmth as he pulled me into his arms.
“Looks like they approve,” he teased softly, his lips brushing my temple.
I laughed, overwhelmed by the joy and support surrounding us. This was what it meant to be part of a pack-a family that stood by you, celebrated with you, and made you feel like you truly belonged.
The party continued long into the night. Most of the couples were inseparable. At this point, Lorien wasn’t even letting anyone near Lysaa while Kyven was fussing over what Thalia could drink now that she was pregnant.
As for our latest couple, every time I glanced their way, Franklin looked more enchanted than before. Amara, too, seemed to glow as she clung to him like she’d finally found where she belonged.
“Think he’ll ever let her out of his sight again?” I asked Calvin with a grin, watching as Franklin murmured something that made Amara blush and laugh.
“Not a chance,” Calvin chuckled, tightening his hold on my waist.
It was indeed a memorable evening.
