Elena’s POV.
“Damn Elena, you are everything I want and more,” he gasped as I rode him tirelessly.
I flashed him a warm smile, leaning down to capture his lips in a slow kiss, conveying my love and as well as my pain through that one kiss.
I tried not to see the moment as our last, but their was a tiny voice at the back of my head repeatedly reminding me of how soon it will all end. Once we leave here, it’s all over.
I could feel how weak Narla was, she was always excited to be wrapped around Killian’s arms, but right now, she just laid quietly in a distinct corner sulking.
At this point, there was nothing I could do. Darius was determined to end it all if I didn’t do as he said. If I decided to outsmart him by telling Killian about the situation, it will get a lot messier and with my kids still locked away in a faraway land, any more complications wasn’t needed.
There was absolutely no way out anymore, I needed to abide by Darius’s rules.
I growled slightly as the taunting thoughts haunted my head.
“Elena?” I heard Killian call with so much concern and worry.
Could he have noticed my predicament amidst the charade that I was putting on? I couldn’t let that happen.
I braced up and increased my speed.
I started to bounce up and down on his shaft as his hands on my butt pulled me closer into him while I bounced like I was riding a stallion. With each thrust and bounce his cock almost left my wet hole and just as I was about to feel that emptiness inside me, I sank back down and felt the joyous feeling of penetration all over again.
Our loud moans littered the whole air as we moved tirelessly yet passionately against each other.

“I have a meeting with the elders, and after that, I’m meeting up with someone, don’t expect me back early,” Killian whispered to me as we walked into the house.
I had dragged him out of the palace at the early hours of the morning, insisting we took a walk around the pack. I wanted to have one last moment with him.
“Oh, alright then, I’ll be in my room,” I flashed him a wide smile. If only he knew the real reason behind the smile.
He leaned forward to kiss me fully on the lips before turning around and walked away. I stood rooted on the spot, watching him with tears in my eyes as he disappeared through the path that led towards the elders Chambers.
That was the last time I would ever see him again.
It was over, everything we shared.
We clearly weren’t meant to be together, I mean after all this years and there’s still so much complications hanging around us.
I quickly wiped off the droplets of tears streaming down my cheeks and exhaled a deep breath. I will be long gone before he returns.
I proceeded into the house, hastening my steps, I needed to be fast as I could to get my things and leave before he gets back.
Thankfully, Luna Drusilla wasn’t in the living room when I entered, that was a relief.
Taking a quick look around for a sight of anyone and meeting a complete silence, I quickly hastened my steps towards my room.
“Well, if it isn’t the pathetic whore.”
I silently cursed under my breath as Aria blocked my way with a huge scowl on her face.
“What do you want, Aria?”
She snorted amusedly, taking a step close to me. “You are enjoying having someone else’s mate to yourself, aren’t you?”
“Killian is not your mate Aria, he never was,” I mumbled.
“Well you aren’t too, he rejected you and casted you away like a rogue, he ran to me, we bore a beautiful child together, he made me his Luna and we were happy together until you showed up and ruined everything like you always do!” She was beginning to yell now.
I exhaled a deep breath, resisting the urge to engage her further, I needed to be out of here as fast as possible.
“It’s obvious you love Killian more than I do, and it’s quite obvious how desperately you want him,”
She stared at me blankly, confusion written all over her face.
“I really hope you can take care of him when I’m no longer here,” I continued.
“What rubbish are you saying?”
“Take care of Killian, Aria, please,” I mumbled, pushing past her and ran to my room.
I couldn’t hold back the tears that rolled down my cheeks as I gathered my clothes into my bag.
On a second thought, I quickly returned them back into the wardrobe and spread out the rest of my things back to their initial positions. I didn’t want to leave with anything.
Maybe they will serve as a form of consolation to him when I’m gone, he could feel my presence through them.
Wiping of the tears from my face, I exhaled deeply and took a last glance around the room. It was time to turn my back to these walls that had somehow became my home.
It was meant to be this way anyways.
With a bleeding heart, I dragged my heavy feet out of the room and all the way out of the palace. Thankfully the only people in sight were few unsuspecting housekeepers.
Getting to the exact point at the pack boundary where Darius, Bonnie and I had met up the previous day, there was no sight of Darius.
I obviously showed up too early, he probably thought it would take till nightfall before I could find my way out of the palace.
I found a discreet corner and sat down in wait for him. Resting my head on a nearby stone I slowly dozed off.
Suddenly, Narla kicked heavily forcing me up from my deep sleep, I was about to growl angrily at her when I started hearing rustling sounds around.
Carefully poking my head from my hiding corner, I was shocked to see Killian pacing around, he seemed to be in wait for someone.
Hold up, he mentioned meeting up with someone after his meeting with the elders, could the person be…
Oh no, Darius.
Almost immediately, I sighted him creep out of a corner behind Killian, he had a sharp dagger glistening in his hand as he quietly approached Killian from the back.
No! He was aiming to kill him.
